Went to theater after many years. Even after so many technological changes in the world, I didn't noticed any advancements on my overall experience from 10 years ago. Three major things ruined my experience. First, the seating. If you sit in the middle you wobble like a seasaw, full back you sink in. Couldn't sit comfortably in any position. Second, leg room. I'm only 5'10" and I had no leg room, especially with the way seats are designed. Third, the worst one. Washrooms faucets are made for aliens. You must have 3 hands to use those push mechanism faucets. There is no concept of touch-free clean experience. Keeping those faucets pushed in is just an idiotic experience. That really ruined it for me. Grossed out!

Beautiful theatre. Only issue I have is any time I go the place is not clean. It's either the management is cleaning properly or less staff or the people in Milton is not clean.

It's a Cineplex same as every other Cineplex. Same movies. Same over-priced drinks and snacks, not enough parking on busy nights, but does get a good variety of movies in 3D and "regular" as well as AVX and D-Box. I have experienced good service here though, help with tickets, scene points, etc. And even when they are busy and I'm in a long slow line (I always pick the slowest line) the counter service is good and firendly.

Bought tickets online. Arrived and paid $42 for snacks to then head into the theater ONLY to find out NO SEATS!! They refunded my tickets and I paid $42 for popcorn & pop with no bloody movie!!

They block of seats beside you for covid reasons but then stack folks right in front and behind you. Literally breathing down your neck eating popcorn, drinking, laughing with no mask on. So what's the point. Should be staggered.

Great quality to watch a movie and great sound. The only downside is the parking. Parking can become tricky at certain times at night specially when the restaurants around are also at their peak times.

The games don't work and there owned by a 3rd party so even if you ask for help from the theatre staff they will tell you they will take your name and number but don't end up ever calling you about them. In order for the games to work, they have to reset the power meaning anyone playing these games that don't work will not only loose their money but won't be able to play again. We had some rowdy foul mouthed teens sitting behind us. Turns out when we complained about them, the staff knew of them quite well and did absolutely nothing about it . It's a shame movies cost so much for a family of 5 when you're faced with broken arcades, rudeness, staff who could careless and no refills to boot. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. We will be.

A smaller theatre. Great to catch a movie on a weekday (except Tuesday) if you don't like crowds. Seats are comfortable and theatres are clean. AVX and D Box also available here.

Very clean Movie theater. The attention is very good and there are lots of parking spaces. If you cannot reserve your seats GET THERE EARLY!!! Otherwise you will end up watching the movie in the front row.

It was an alright experience. The cinema itself was small and so were the theaters and the seats were a little bit on the uncomfortable side; a lot of other cineplexes have better recliner seats that are more comfortable than the ones at this particular cineplex but other than that it's the regular cineplex experience experience from the run of the mill cineplex. The staff are nice and overall a very OK experience.

Kudos to employees ZOE and young man (forgot his name) who helped me find my husband on Saturday 03 August. Our movie was playing in two theatres and I had a tense 30 minutes. They were extremely helpful and compassionate. Thank goodness for their sensitivity and alertness!

Nice Cinema for Milton. I don't feel the AVX is as good as it should be, and the food / drinks are overpriced like all movie theatres. That said, I do think there is a nice selection of food choices, as well as coffee and some video games to keep the kids entertained while you wait.

I rate movie theaters based on cleanliness. Cant complain about the prices, I can live with one kidney. But all in all, friendly staff, washrooms and theater room was very clean. Smaller location and not as many movie selections as some of the other theaters, but very clean.

They have large coke\drink dispensing machines. I've never been in an establishment that didn't allow to refill your pop if they are these types of machines. I left the movie half way through to refill my drink. The manager came up behind me to tell me that they do NOT allow for refills. In a small font a large sign next to the machine it says that they do not allow for refills. She made me throw the drink out. This was dealt with terribly. I asked why I wasn't told by the concessions vendor or why the machines weren't behind the counter and she said it was to give customers greater choice. McDonald's Wendy's Costco all have this type of machine and they do not police them like this Cineplex. I was surprised and disappointed by this experience. They make an enormous profit on concessions! Rethink your management style and concession policies!

Love the coca cola freestyle machine at this location. Lots of yummy drink options to pick from. Friendly staff and clean for the most part. I went after a long time today and due to covid situation drink machine is shut off, washrooms need to be cleaned but otherwise pretty good.

Cineplex Milton was without debit and credit today as were many other retailers. However, the theatre was able to process our prepaid movie passes. My wife, two kids and I saw the new Artic Dogs...good family movie. Theater itself could use an update!

Great place for movie, there's always space and parking. Don't have to worry about overcrowded theatre. They do have less staff, which mean concession stand line up are a little long at times. But the staff are friendly and pretty fast.

Nothing special plays the new popular movies but they don't stay for long since there are only 8 theater rooms. Only theater in Milton so not much choice, always crowded on weekends with kids with parents and teenagers

Bought my tickets and the after I paid it said the machine was out of order, took some time to retrieve my tickets at the concession stand. I was in theatre #5 at the very end. The movie began to play and the lights didn't go off. Someone had to go let the staff know that the movie had started and they should be shutting the lights off.

Went on an off peak day at an off peak time, as I easily get annoyed with crowds, long lineups and overworked staff members. The good: not busy, clean washrooms, friendly staff. The bad: seats feel worn out and are not the most comfortable. The ugly: had a sit in a theatre with a group of annoying teenagers. Totally not the theatre’s fault, but it killed my experience. It may have been better sitting in a full house. Choose your showtime wisely, however, you can never avoid the unavoidable, aka: annoying people

A decent sized movie theater with 8 theaters, one being AVX. Cineplex Cinemas Milton is a place to see movies, usually clean and the staff is nice. one of the down sides is that it doesnt always get movies that the bigger cinemas get due to having fewer theaters. over all a good to see a movie.

The theater is equipped with seats that vibrate and shake for added effect. I found that this effect was overrated and not woth the additional premium cost for the movie ticket.

Tuesdays 7.23$ movies are the best deals ever.. expensive popcorn and drinks .. quite deserted and empty during other days .. but ya who will pay full price when you have a big family .. go on Tuesdays and spend rest of the money for food.

Only movie theater left in GTA where u can still see the movie even if u buy the tickets on last minute..since they have few theater where u can't reserve the seats online. This is perfect for people who want to use scene movie night out package which can't be used with online booking

Went on a Monday night and it was honestly DEAD, which was amazing! No lines, no crowds. My friends and I pretty much had the theatre to ourselves. Service was nice, nothing outstanding.

When I visited the theater they were following even stricter protocols. In addition to the vaccine passport the theater did not permit any drinks or food. As a result their food and drink stands were closed. We weren't even permitted water. It would have been a better experience if we ordered our film at home. I will likely not return until they have a somewhat normal end to end experience.

Clean and always a good time. Long lineups sometimes when it’s super busy so I recommend comming earlier to get tickets and a good seat. Ordered tickets through online app today, fast and easy and did not have to wait in the massive long lineup for tickets making things smoother-didn’t have to print the tickets either-the staff made it so easy. Fresh popcorn and food. Clean theatre.

Your snacks haha it cost the theatre under a penny to make a large soft drink and the same for popcorn. Bring your own snacks

The movies that get released are not half-bad but go 30 minutes in any direction and you’d find a better cineplex. The prices are hella expensive for no reason?! Greedy managers in my opinion... no reason to spend that much to see a movie on a big screen let alone spend that much on food. But if you want to sneak snacks in, go for it they don’t check anymore ???? beware, scene is a scam!! They canceled all the cards because of “fraud” and now all my points are gone and my card won’t work. ???? I’m boycotting the movie theatres now lmao I like my bed

This theatres is tiny (6 small theatres only) given how busy it is. Also half the time, the ticket kiosk machines do not work (why bother having them?) and at the same time no one is at the ticket counter. Be prepared to hunt for a parking spot in their lot. Most likely you will have to park far away in someone else's lot.

I love going here. Not as big as Mississauga or Burlington but same sort of place. Ok the popcorn and drinks are expensive but thats expected at a movie theater now-a-days. What is best about the Galaxy Cinema is the parking and the people who work there. I always find a place to park even on tuesdays. The people working there have always been very polite and helpful to me I have no complaints about that at all! In fact a couple of times I complained about younger people making noise and right away the staff went to them and took care of the noise,.. thank you. 5 stars for Miltons Galaxy Cinema,.. go there you'llsee.

great place to enjoy a night out with and without the kiddos...my only issue is with the machines that you can get tickets from. This issue is not necessarily a bad thing for the theater as it is a bad review on the ticket machine!! When you have a coupon for movie tickets the scanner had a hard time reading the bar code and you almost always have to enter it manually. When in a crunch this could lose your spot in the movie of choice. The theater overall has great service with friendly faces and a nice little game section to pass some time. It also has the special coke machines that you can create some unique flavored drinks to enjoy with the movie popcorn.

Love the design of this cinema compared to the one in Brampton. The only thing was there was no parking the day we came as we had to go far into the GoodLife fitness parking lot to park but it was expected for a Friday night and Captain Marvel was just released.

It's abundantly clear how this theatre is dealing with the mandatory minimum wage pay increase. They are not staffing as many cleaners and have lowered the temperature in the building. They are not refilling condiments containers and the empty containers are filthy. I assume they will just be refilled at some point without cleaning them first. What I wanted for my food I went without. The bottom row of seats was where all the garbage was being swept and left, peoples left over food. The hallway was littered with wrappers and garbage. I sat through a 2 hour movie with my parka on. I sat shivering, my legs and face were frozen. I did not enjoy myself or the movie. Really, Cineplex doesn't make enough money? The pay increase comes out of the consumers end not theirs. How long before people start getting sick from cleanliness issues? I won't be back.

Had my child's birthday party there; just a movie and snacks. The managers and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. They helped us get our group organized and showed us to our seats. They made sure everything was in place, and to our satisfaction. I would definitely recommend this cinema for a group.

Decent place to watch movies, the employees are good. Nice little arcade place to hang out and burn sometime waiting for a movie. Only downside to this place would probably be the washrooms. They could be better, can't stop guys from being pigs, but I think they could move some stuff around to make things more easily accessible so they wouldn't kill themselves to actually throwing out the paper towels or throw water all over the floor but... I'm talking like guys are a bunch of dumb children but that's really how it is.

A good place to go for to see a movie. Places are kept pretty clean. And you can go any time and get get seats for a movie. My only issue is with the service. They took away the ppl at the front counter, so you're forced to buy tickets from a machine, and if there's issues, no one is around to help.

One of the worst Cineplex theatres I have ever been to. The theaters were very dirty and the line up a concession was about 20 minutes long. When trying to order your combo meal the staff kept on getting it wrong and we're looking at me like I ordered it wrong. Ended up being late for my start time for the movie and missed all the trailers and pre shows. Was it busy Tuesday and all they had was two staff members cashing out at the food station.

The cashier counter was closed so we had to use the machines to purchase our movie tickets. But the touch screen didn't register our fingers touching the screen. We were stuck on one part of our transaction and spent a lot of time pushing the screen buttons. In the end, we had to line up with the others ordering popcorn to purchase the tickets which was a pain...the line up was long.

It is just like any other cineplex except that it is not very clean. The concession prices are same. The games they have out in lobby are not cleaned and you can see popcorn and other stuff on and around it so sanitize your hands after playing those games. The auditoriums were comparatively cleaner thankGod.

Theater wasn't ready until after the movie was supposed to start. They wouldn't let anyone past the ticket guy so when the theatre was finally clean everyone rushed in and cut the line.

Very small Cineplex complex. You hardly find anyone in the box office and they ask you to pick up your tickets from the snacks bar. Excellent 3D quality picture and sound experience.

Great place for movies close to town, offers D-box, AVX and 3D movies. Has a small Arcade for those interested in that and the normal Cineplex food menu, offers, and specials along with a coffee and ice cream shop. Only 4 stars because of generally very long lines and a smaller staff (Normally only 2 tills open on average) Outside it's located very close to a Tim's and good restaurants, making it an ideal location for a dinner and a movie date if that's your thing.

Thanksgivibg Weekend Ruined!!!What a horrible experience. Waited more than an year to watch No Time To Die ~ Daniel Craig's last outing as James Bond. Planned my trip with my son and went in to watch the show at 4PM. Guess what! 1.4 hrs into show, The movie lost audio. For 15 straight mins (after that I left) the sound was muffled as if Big Pillows were placed on speakers. Ridiculous enough! Once we complained, The Manager Initially denied any issue and then suddenly one of the New Joiners on her team said "Isn't this the same issue we had this morning? " Seeing no escape way! The Manager refund us the ticket money. I asked her what about the $25 worth of Food and my time that got wasted? Should we be getting free tickets? But No such compensation. Worst thing! My son kept crying for 3 hours and there wasn't any other seat available in next shows for tonight. Utterly disgusted, angry and not happy at all.

Having recently moved to Milton and have visited this theatre a number of times; I have to say that they make the worst popcorn I have ever tasted! And this includes this Saturday where you would expect a decently bag of popcorn; but no; and the price you have to pay is ridiculous for what they serve. As for the theatre itself; it is quite nice.

Went to watch Venom on D-Box UltraAVX good theatre. Relatively clean amd enjoyable. Weekday movie night, so less staff but not under staffed, so no wait times or anything bad. Enjoyed the movie the screen size was good and projectors werent dimmed. So upkeep seems to be decent. No complaints based on my first experience. 5/5 stars for the location. And kudos to the staff member who greeted and took our conession order. Pleasant interaction.

It is a really great movie theater in Milton, both for price and performance. It has automatic machines to buy tickets so you don't have to wait. The staff is nice and cleans up after movies. Once in the theater the screens have no damage, the lighting is just right and the seats are comfortable to sit on.

Be careful for late night shows. They lock the doors even if there are movies playing inside. I missed good 15 minutes of a movie since no one was opening the door for me.

Went to the movies when the theatre re opened during the COVID-19. Staff were friendly and everyone was following COVID protocols. I have always said nothing beats cineplex popcorn. Washrooms and facility were clean. Will be back.

This is our go-to theatre and my kids are probably there every few weeks. I like the Scene Points as well as we always seem to have a free movie on the card. Only con is the price of food is, as always, way over priced.

Basic theatre for the latest movies. They have a handful of theatre rooms, but no IMAX. They do have ultra AVX (not imax, but essentially a slightly larger screen, not worth the extra $$$ IMO)

Staff service is mediocre at best. On the weekends the place is usually a mess, sticky floors, popcorn everywhere, messy. The restrooms are usually poorly kept but thats not just the staff, it's the people using it who are usually to blame. I prefer the Oakville cinemas over the Milton Cineplex

Enforcing the vaccine passports inconsistently and with no regard for confusion. Been twice with my kids post-passport with no issue. I understood that minors were exempt from ID requirements (wrong). Yesterday I show up with my son whos 12, they let me in only to later have a manager kick us out as we filled our drinks. I showed both our passports stored on my phone, had the same last name, my own ID. It was quite obviously my son, I'm not sneaking in someone else's kid. Zero sympathy and was told to leave. No "Oh sorry, just so you know next time he needs ID". It was just "Get out". Funny thing is, if I had just said he was 11, they'd have asked zero questions. Great way to treat your customers.

Use to love this theatre until I left my purse there and went back 10 mins later when the cleaning people were there and I had been the last person to leave the theatre and they didn't find it. When I called the box office at 1am the lady didn't care about my belongs which included my diabetic stuff. All she cared about was me blaming her staff. I am so disappointed that they didn't do anything to help me find my belongings. Will never go back!

My first time at this location. Staff was friendly. Auditorium 1 (AVX) was clean and projection was clear and bright. However, there was a subtle ting-ting noise coming from the ceiling area to the left of the screen (ventilation system?), closer to the back of the auditorium - management might want to look into that.

Relatively smaller location, however, well maintained and have nice screens. As Milton's population grows, we will need a larger location with additional screens. Another thing missing is screening of South Asian (Pakistani and Indian) movies. Given that Milton has a decent number of South Asian residents, those movies will be quite popular.

The movie was great. Waiting in line almost a half hour for popcorn was not so great. To be fair, it was during the holidays and I was there to see Star Wars, so I understand, but better organisation of the lines for concessions would be something for management to consider. Overall, the way it is organized presently is highly inefficient and I may chose another location for my next visit.

I love that it’s not very busy and pretty clean. The reason for my 3 stars is the food is horrible! I guess bc of covid they don’t make too much but that means things sit there for some time. My popcorn and nachos were stale the last 3 times i’ve gone in the last couple of weeks. * EDIT * I returned over the weekend and the food gave me a horrible stomach ache for days.

Good small city cinema. They have stars and strollers quite frequently. Good selection of new release movies, but movies that have been playing awhile can usually only be found in larger cinemas. Smaller concession stands.

This is a reasonably clean theatre that includes some gaming, including air hockey. It has a small party room with a large glass wall that faces the hallway. Not private if you want private. Show selections are only the big money choices, by demographic, never the harder to find quality movies. Plaza parking is shared, means coming early, choosing less busy times or walking a ways.

PA day line up almost out the door of the theater..... Having one till open (with the box office closed) during a regional P.A. day does not scream good management to me. If you want food or a ticket, be prepared to wait in a single file, 25 min lineup.

Easily the dumbest website on the planet - never accepts my BMO credit card - (Cineplex are fee-avoiding cheeeeapsters because it cuts into their 60% margins) and laughably have RBC and TD only listed as debit institutions. Hands down the crappiest service/website - no wonder people watch movies from home at every chance.
