My favorite spot for movies. Except for food. Took nachos for the first time...and ot was the last. Chips were kinda greasy, like if instead of heating them in an oven they has put them in the fryer. The cheese was under the chips in big chunks. Homemade guacamole was good... Hubby took a ceasar salad. Good even if not enough dressing... Note to self...go eat in a restaurant before the movie... But will definitely go back for movies there. Seats are comfy. You have room. Not cold either inside. Toilets are super clean. A very good movie experience.

Staff is pleasant, food is average. Annoyingly, they seem to cram all the movie-goers into the central section, so there is no distancing at all. With about 35 people in the theatre, we were seated right next to other people. Luckily they felt as weird about it as we did and we shifted over by one seat.

The VIP experience is absolutely not worth it. You pay more only for: larger seats (not even lazyboy or sofa) and you can have alcool. Thats it. Then, don’t worry, they will serve you once the movie has started, it’s smell soo bad during the film because everyone is eating different food, they will bring your drinks/food once the movie is started. I even had to cancelled my drinks because I was done with popcorn and it’s been 5 min the movie started. The washroom are fancy! Nice! But there is only few...soo you’ll be waiting again. They call it a fancy saloon where your can drinks and chill, it’s more like a cafeteria with one pool table. No cloakroom to put our winter coat ? Come on guys, you need to improve!

(VIP): Drove an hour to get there for a date night and turns out the kitchen was closed, ruined supper plans and the whole point of going there in the first place. Plus getting movie tickets for the VIP and not the regular is tricky and not easy to do online. (Regular): Concerning the regular Cineplex, when we got into the theatre the floor and cup holders had not been cleaned since the last movie, popcorn was everywhere, spilled drinks and single drink lids were in the way. Even nacho cheeze was in the cup holders. Can't believe no one was tasked to clean it. Plus it was pretty small compared to other Cineplex theatres in the province. Oh and the kitched was closed too. As of (03/01/2020)

Parking spaces are usually scarce, and traffic in dix30 can make it especially difficult to find a decent parking space. The experience itself is pleasant as far as theaters go.

The first time the Vip Cineplex open near my house in Brossard, it was amazing. I then decided this was the only way to see a movie. I have since moved from Brossard, and the Dix30 area. And haven't gone back in a while. We returned last night for our !0 year anniversary to Bon Cop Bad Cop2. WOW! what a disappointment. Vip you say.... the class is gone. Just the big bill remains. There used to be a box Kleenex in the bathrooms and beautiful arrangement of flowers (fake, but beautiful) , metal utensils, complimentary bottles of water (with your 50$ meals). I guess I like the little things. 2012 v.s 2017

It was for my son's birthday party, initially gave different showtime, 3 days before the event they changed, we had to call again our guests to rectify time. Then the bill came totally by far of what we were initially told some kind of hidden charges, the person who was assigned to take care of us wasn't really easy to find because she very busy, at several occasions we to run go find her not easy. It would have been good idea to prepare us of the detailed program so we could pass it along to our guests. Can be improved

Great place to hang out during the weekends or Tuesday (they have a special sale for Tuesdays). We watched How to train your dragon 3 an it was really fun. Great popcorn and ok food (pizza, burger, etc.) We wanted some poutine but there were a few technical problems so some meals weren't available. Overall it was a fun experience and I'd love to go again. I recommend it.

I LOVE the VIP experience! Different entrance, table or seat service, good selection of food and drinks... Seats are like love seats with a gap in the middle. Still great for cuddling, and if not you can put the arm rest down. Each seat also has a tray for food and drinks.

Great movie complex. Movies can found in either French or English. Had walked into the theater room but the clean up crew had not gone through yet ( man can people be real pigs ... clean up after yourselves). The clean up crew did a rather good job given they had less time than expected. Bravo!

I went one time for reopening after covid, the cinema was almost empty, a lot of separation between people and good precautions and desinfection all the time. Was a funny evening. But now is just with old movies, not very much in english, and the price is more high again... so for the moment, for me it's not deserve to go. We are waiting for new films to enjoy :)

Only giving 3 stars because they have the nasty habit of showing movies EXCLUSIVELY in 3D. Not all of us enjoy the 3D versions and forcing me to watch it in 3D makes me want to simply wait for the movie to come out on BluRay/4K version. In a day where less and less people go to the cinema to watch movies, giving us less options won't help attract more customers.

My favorite cinema. Price for the movies are ok but food is really expensive if you're not using the Scene fidelity program of Cineplex. You can also order your tickets by the Scene app on your cellphone to pay the tickets cheaper (about 3$).

Star 1: lots of free parking spots; Star 2: VIP cinemas really provide luxury experience; Star 3: good variety of movies in terms of title selection; Star 4: a good number of cinemas allowing different audience to enjoy. So this is a "4-star" cinema IMHO :)

I would have given 1 star but the theater experience was great. I took the Meal and movie combo deal and I regreted it. We arrive 2 hours in advance so we wouldn't be in a hurry for the movie and yet, it took 30 min to see a waitress and 1,5 HOUR TO GET OUR MEAL. Unforgivable. The bistro wasn't full. If they cannot handle a restaurant, they should stick with movies and don't serve real meals. Anyway, after speaking with an employee, she suggested not coming on holidays, weekend and Tuesday night if we want a fast service (she wasn't kidding). Some people had to eat their meal in the dark during the movie... So disappointed!

I went to go see the new Avengers , 11 PM time. There was barely anyone in my theater so my friend and i sat comfortable. Unfortunately my wallet with all my information and documents were in there. Mind i tell you that I'm not from this country so its really difficult to retrieve personal identification overseas and i have a flight booked in a couple of week. Went back to the theater and to my location and i couldn't find my wallet to no avail . I was sitting in the far back seats in the top corner in theater 11. The manager and i looked on the security camera and you could clearly see me pull out my wallet and pay for the ticket. Now i'm stuck and making a million phone calls. Worse movie experience ever second time i lost my wallet , first was the Fort Mcmurray wildfire and now this , talk about life ehh !!

Really nice theater and the VIP is very interesting if you are adults as kids are not allowed in the VIP. The standard theater is nice, looks like any other Cineplex. The VIP has super comfortable seating, trays on the seat for your food and drinks. They also serve alcohol and they even bring it to your seat. First time i see something like this at the movie theaters.

Cineplex is a decent movie house, however prices are truly outrageous for a family to go to the movies these days. And at the brossard location they used to offer a better selection of movies in English. They now offer less movies in English and the ones that they do show are mostly shown in the vip cinema forcing the English movies to cost even more as the vip movies cost about 40% more than the regular movies.

For a cinema located in the dix30 I was surprisingly disappointed. The cinema was clean and there were no issues, but I somehow expected so much more. Half of the arcade units were not functional and the selection was lacking. My kids have been to many cinemas and they shared in my disappointment. Guzzo on taschereau is a much better experience. But centropolis is a family favorite

Following health protocols. Must be double vaxxed to go to the movies. You have self-serve ticket machines or you can buy your ticket(s) at one cash at the food counter. You have to select your seat and they will not put anyone close to you. Was very impressed with the way it's handled.

Awful experience. VIP only by name. Not only did we have to get up out of our seats to get someone to come out to take our order but if we hadn't no one would have done anything. Worst part is there was like 5 employees just hanging out around the bar when we got outside to ask someone to take our order. The seats push your body forward instead of reclining. Just a terrible experience.

Went for the 1st time to the VIP experience to see Avengers Endgame. The vip concept is great, the execution not so. The lounge once you enter is nice and well set. The private bathroom however were all somewhat dirty, trash can overfilled, floor dirty etc. The seats are really not comfortable, too stiff, too straight, heard it was better before, but now I’ve seen normal cinemas with better seatings. Now the main reason you come to the vip is for the food & drinks delivery service. The service was alright, the drinks were good, the food was bad. Everything we order was not hot, not fresh, felt like eating leftovers reheated, big disappointment on that part. For two, with tix & all we spent just shy of 150$, for that price you’d expect way better. Might give it a 2nd try for the concept and see if I just came on a bad day.

Had a great time watching the Lion King with my children and their friends, even though nostalgically speaking, I still prefer the animation version of my childhood. But, the cinema was great. Nice comfy chairs. Buttery popcorn. Not as many people as I would have expected. Good for parking as well.

The only VIP Cinema in the Montreal area so far. Clean and quiet cinema that is ideal for a cute date. This 18+ section gives you access to alcoholic drinks and food option that go beyond pop corn and nachos. Tickets have a pretty steep price tag of $25 per ticket. I was a disappointed that the changed the sofa / loveseat style chairs. The new chairs are stiff and the back support is too straight.

First time going and I loved it. It's expensive for what it is but at least you don't get the normal riff Raff when you watch the movie. Seats are large and comfortable, the ones in the first row recline but I don't suggest sitting there. You have a private lounge where you can eat and order drinks. You can also order drinks and food to your chair before the movie starts. Single stall private bathrooms as well, don't find it necessary but it's a nice touch. 18 and over so no kids. Check it out if you want to view a movie in luxury.

Nothing to complain about here. Probably the crown jewel of the Dix-30, the building itself is kept in good condition and the concessions are solid. Diverse collection of films are shown here. On the plus side, if you're an Anglophone, chances are there will always be a lot of seats available as they tend to show a lot of French films here.

By far my favorite movie theater! The big rooms and big sounds really brings the picture to life. The seats in the newer rooms are quite great! Most if the time, the floors are not sticky and the bathrooms are clean. They have so many snack stands to choose from and they are always fully stocked and easy to be served. You can collect points on your scene card when you guys your tickets, when you order snacks and when you play the premovie show. They also offer different viewing options (I.e. Imax 3D). You can also purchase your tickets in 3 different ways. There is also an arcade! The best part about this location is, they have the VIP theatre right next door! This place is a great way to enjoy a movie!

My favourite place to see a movie in or around Montreal. I prefer the VIP since their are no kids and you can order drinks. The service is good, the cinemas always super clean, and they have plenty of space. I think they have managed social distancing in the seats very well.

Usually a very huge line up. You have to come way early and there is very little working machines to pick up tickets you've bought over their app or Internet. VIP experience is fun, but mostly have movies in English, so when going out with my wife is actually difficult to find good movies to see at VIP. Beverage and popcorn service is usually faster than other places though. Parking is the worst I have ever seen. Sometimes you have to park at 10 minutes walk away ! To big a theater for the number of parking places available.

Clean toilets, and believe me it is a plus as cinema's are very crowded places. I dont get the food ordering as it can be bothersome when your neighbor orders a bunch of drinks and food during the movie...but overall it is a nice experience.

Everything is perfect in general. Sometimes the staff don't clean the room properly so you can see some popcorns and trash on the floor and chairs of the room. Sometimes the most anticipated movies are only available in French and if you want to watch in English, you have to go to the VIP.

VIP is great....... when they have it in english and not 3D. I had 8 friends wanting to go but because of that we didn't - that would easily been 900$ from us alone....something to think about. Staff is friendly, helpful and the place is very clean and comfortable...those chairs!!

Seats are worst than a conventional cinema and we could hear the other movie in the next room all the time. The only good thing was the fact that it is 18+, you have private bathroom (But they are not clean at all) and you can drink bear while watching a movie.

For a Saturday night, management should organize staff better. The lines for popcorn were beyond long (25 min wait). No napkins available at the self serve counter or at the restaurant area, I had to flag down an employee and wait until they could re-stock. Further, the DBOX seat I was in (G9 room 16) was filthy and the lights were left on during the begining of the movie until someone decided to go complain.

So I ordered a drink and waited an hour. Went out to see what happened and the Margarita was sitting in a pitcher on the bar in the pitcher. It was suppose to be in a glass. The bartender was fully aware it was there, never sent it and offered it to me as seen in the picture. I requested and refund and had to wait ten minutes for the manager. So my drink and my film were ruined. They didn't offer any other compensation. $24 bucks for the drink and 24$ for a film. Not worth it especially at this location under such poor management. Never coming back.

Good movie theatre but it’s getting more and more of the big releases either in French or in the VIP section only and not on any other screens. Nothing wrong with French language movies but if a big release is only available in French or in the VIP and you want to watch the movie in the original langue, you are out of luck. Unless you want to pay 20$ for a VIP ticket.

The vip chairs and space was not bad... but the service needs a lot of improvement, when we arrived earlier to have food before the movie.. the staffs completely wipe out our order that we paid for, seeing everyone arriving later than us and they are getting their food and not ours... I am a patient guy, but my wife she isn’t. it was not cool, she just didn’t end up eating at the end. I had my food when the movie started for about 20 minutes.. paid premium price to get crappy service. It was not good at all. I don’t know what happened, but it was a terrible experience. :( might be the last time we visit the vip cineplex. Not worth the price

staff is rude to teenagers, they always think we want to sneak in without paying and they don't let us use the bathroom, it is very disappointing because i go to this movie theater very often and spend most of my money there and they still treat me poorly. Prices are expensive, but if the staff (manager mostly and workers) was nicer to teens such as me who do go and pay all the time, the high prices would not be a big issue. They also demand an ID for 16+ and 18+ movies which annoying as well, because i did not have ID and had to watch a movie I had already seen since i went to the cinema. I even spoke to the workers there and told them that i was of age because i had a job and i come often, but they were still rude and did not care. They also do not offer IMAX, but i enjoy D-BOX even though it is pricey.

Had a problem redeeming a certificate at the automated machine, so had to wait forever in line to get human help as there was only one person available despite it being really busy. By then the movie got sold out (and wasn't updated on the screen). Had to pick a later showtime (plus in 3D at an extra cost). Then we had to wait forever in line for the consession stand. I haven't been to a movie in a while, but somehow the prices got even more ridiculous for popcorn and drinks. Theatres in Toronto give free butter (at least used to) but here that's extra. Movie was decent but not worth the time and the 100$ this all cost. I can do a lot better for that type of money.

Cineplex has become primairly only french with the option of the english verisons in VIP (and even that, it is a limited amount of movies.. Currently two options). Disappointed, Guzzo is the only option left for those looking to enjoy watching movies in english. One star, and a major loss for the company in my opinion.

Decent movie theater, food is okay, prices are to be expected. VIP Cinema is better for those looking for a better experience watching a movie without as much of a hassle as waiting in line, rushing to get seats, or having to deal with loud people or a younger audience. VIP Cinema is 18+ to get in. VIP Cinema also serves alcohol and food to your seat before the movie starts. VIP is much more expensive but has better seats and service.

We always have a great experience here. If I'm going to an "adult" movie (instead of one with my kids), the VIP is always the way to go! It's usually clean, friendly staff, and lots of options for snacks and food. There is even a Tim hortons in the cinema for your coffee fix! It can often be very busy on the weekend, but you can always go on their website and purchase your tickets in advance. Overall great atmosphere for a fun family outing or a nice date night.

(This review is only based on the VIP) We did the VIP experience and what an overpriced subpar excuse for a movie visit. Save your money even if your uber rich not worth it. You spend more just to get food at your seat. But no one warns you that the food won't fit on the table tray and that it will be way to dark to be eating in there. Theaters not even an AVX theater. I don't mind not 3d but come on a regular screen and audio very poor. Go have Dinner and drinks before or after or even both. Now I know why they dont have more of these around just a money grab for those who want to have overpriced booze and not have children around. At this point might as well wait till the movie comes out to watch at home and have the movie experience at your own home.

I love going to see movies here. The VIP experience is amazing. Being able to order your food to your seat is amazing! The individual bathrooms are kept very clean. The fact that you can combine A great movie with a martini and a medium popcorn at the same time is fantastic as well! After you’ve had the VIP experience, I do not know why you would ever go to a regular theatre again. The seats are kept very clean and are very spacious. There are no sticky unidentified substances on the ground of the theater and the customer service is great too.

VIP side is not what it used to be. We got cold and burnt food last two times we went. We had to pay for the replacement food. Not to mention the price increase on the menu. I went to the snack counter to get chocolate. The employees were talking in the back. They gazed at me then moved out of my sight to continu their conversation leaving me to wait. Often clean. New releases offered in French and English but English titles drop from their lists a few weeks or so after release. I find the seats comfortable. VIP is 18+ with reserved seating. Food and alcohol can be ordered in your seat before the house lights dim. Generic bar food but the bartender is good and there is a nice selection of cocktails available.

What an awesome movie-going experience at the VIP Cinema! First of all, I love that their menu includes vegan options, like the Beyond Meat burger - which was delicious! My husband had the falafel and really enjoyed it as well. The luxurious seats inside the theater are so comfortable and it's a nice treat to have a server bring drinks to you right at your seat - and to have a handy little table for everything. I only wish there was a VIP cinema closer to home since it's a bit of a drive to go all the way to Brossard from the West Island...

My boyfriend and I went to the VIP section yesterday, and it was very clean and nice. Thus, the food was not so good. I ordered a nachos and he ordered a poutine, both were freezing cold and my nachos only had cheese on it: I asked the worker who brought our food why I had nothing on my nachos (I did ask for no jalapeños but there was other ingredients listed on the menu) maybe they were out of stock, which I understand, but chips and cheese for 15$ is a bit expensive. We also ordered popcorn, which was also freezing cold, I also told her the popcorn was cold and she told me “it just got out of the popcorn machine I don’t know what to tell you sorry” (I’ve worked in a movie theatre, and making new popcorn doesn’t take long) since ours was cold I assume everyone else’s was in the theatre. For the price, it was a disappointment. I’ve never done a review of anything in my life but this one seems worth it, maybe it wasn’t a good day for them, but I don’t think that’s an excuse.. But, very comfy seats, I can give that credit.

I used to go here all the time before the pandemic and I loved it. I went three weeks ago, to see the first showing of the day and I swear every single seat and tray was filthy from the previous night. (Every other client asked the server to clean off their tray just as we did). We took our masks off when we sat down, but when the waitress arrived, she was wearing hers as a chin strap (what a useless accessory). When our drinks and snacks arrived, she told us she would set them on the trays in the row in front of us, you know, for social distancing reasons...but transferred our popcorn WITH HER BARE THUMB INSIDE THE TUB, directly to me in my seat (you know, for social distancing reasons). My point is, their cleanliness standards should be higher during a pandemic, but it seems like this particular VIP just doesn't care. I shouldn't have to ask to have a clean place to sit (this would not be acceptable in a restaurant), especially for the price of admission. I'm not sure I'd be comfortable returning.

They keep the lights on all through the previews and ten minutes into the actual movie I was watching, staff were still going through the aisles to bring the food and drinks. The aisles aren't big enough to allow this without sitting up to let them pass. Took me out of the experience. Also, strangely very hot theatre.

VIP is the best but regular cineplex sucks. Only food available at 6:30 was an 8$ nacho because the kitchen was closed! Ladies room had no toilet paper in half their stalls. Previews were distorted.

I went on Saturday night to watch Spider-Man. The theatre was incredibly full, and did not respect social distancing at all. It was also incredibly warm, and it was difficult to sit in the room with a mask on for two hours. Would not go again.

The 2 stars comes from the manager. He is not accommodating and does not try to give the best service. Cineplex Odeon should give management courses to their manager. Otherwise, there's a lot of rooms and parking. Food is good and the place is clean.

Cinema 11 had either a bad A/C or air exchanger that was so noisy throughout the movie. A staff member walked into the hall , stood there for a good 5 min and walked out. We were only 20 people in the hall and we all agreed that it was super annoying.

As my first experience at the VIP theater, I thought my money was worth as much as a regular cineplex theater. Pro Tip: if you don’t want to be one of the last ones to get your order taken when seated at the theater, you can order straight by the bar so that you don’t have to be the last one when lights go dark. The food was not worth it at all. Big prices, small portions, slow service. I love going to the movies, I just don’t think the VIP experience is worth the extra effort.

They have a serious problems at the ticket lines. While trying to replaces human employees by machines this cinema makes you wait up to 15 min+ in a lineup and should you try to use one of the automated machines at the risk of losing your place in the lineup ...one out of two machines doesn't work!???????? . If That's not enough to make you scream .. The lineup for treats is worse ....25 min + and I got to miss 10 minutes of my movie . I just felt like screaming!! NOTE TO MANAGEMENT: GET ADDITIONAL HELP YO GET THOSE LINES MOVING!! YOU SHOULD BE HAPPY THAT YOUR CINEMAS ARE SO BUSY... BUT PEOPLE WILL GET GET TIRED OF WAITING IN LINES FOR 45 MINUTES AND GO TO GUZZO INSTEAD!!

Really comfortable place with a lots of room and viewing times, but services is a bit slow at the counter everytime I went there, mostly because of a mismanagement of staff. Otherwise, everything is as expected from a Cineplex! The arcades is disappointing a bit, but that is not the main attraction of a theater anyway.

Saturday night, food missing from the limited menu and your told after you order and pay. The food is below average at best and it’s prepared by people who don’t seem to care that someone is going to eat what they are preparing. How hard is it to put a chicken sandwich together, I wanted grilled with cheese but no grilled chicken and no cheese. They grab food with bare hands when there are gloves right in front of them. The employee slid the pizza from the carrier to the warmer oven pulling with his gloveless fingers. Good thing I didn’t order pizza. Order 393, July 14, 2018 if management cares. Then my Coke was 50% ice. Finally at the cinema room, no glasses we had to go on a 3D glasses hunt, cinema room 1 was filthy disgusting, I asked the ticket taker if they are planning to clean the room and she said they are supposed to. I guess today they left free popcorn all over the seats and garbage all over the floor to make us feel like we should have stayed home. I added a picture of the rooms cleaning procedures list to show how many times the room was cleaned that day. It costs over $120 for a family of 5 at the movies now a days but Cineplex doesn’t seem to care about anything but the bottom line. I think I’ll stay home next time and rent a movie. The only reason for 2 stars is the movie, Transylvania 3.

Love coming here! I find the popcorn great and the seats super comfortable! The placement of the seats is perfect too, since it allows you to see from anywhere in the room, no matter how tall the person in front is! I will say the food is wayyyyy overpriced, but it's part of my movie-watching experience so I still love to grab some popcorn and drinks before catching my seats! I just wish the prices were more reasonable. I've been to the VIP section a couple of times (as a sometimes-treat!) And I do appreciate the extra comfortable seating! I have a sensitive neck, but the VIP section seats actually don't hurt it at all! Also interesting for people who are uncomfortable in crowds or who can get claustrophobic, since the seats are more spacious. But it's a luxury to go to that side, another expensive part of movie-night. Normally the regular side is perfectly fine (for a significantly better price) J'adore venir ici! Le popcorn est le meilleur et les sièges sont vraiment confortables! L'emplacement des sièges aussi, puisqu'il permet de bien voir, n'importe où dans la salle et peu importe la hauteur de la personne qui s'assoit devant! Dommage que la nourriture soit autant cher! Nice place. There is a Tim Hortons inside. Lots of self-service machines to buy your tickets by yourselves. Washrooms generally clean. Theatre seats comfortable. Lots of free parking space but difficult to find one close to the theatre on Friday and Saturday evenings, especially. So, either come early or be ready to park farer and walk. Overall, an ideal place for families and everyone to spend a good time watching movies.

A great theater to go watch the latest movie releases in both Ebglish and French. However, he sure to leave a good amount of time before the movie for finding parking. Traffic can also be pretty bad in the area because of the amount of people who visit Quartier Dix30. There is underground parking in a mall area to the left of the theatre which isn't too far to walk.

Please don't go it's a rip off. It's overly expensive for VIP. You have to tip just for pop corn and they never even brought us the popcorn. I had to go to them but they tell you to wait to be served. So confusing. In the end the worker forgot about my order.

I would rate this 5 stars, but the food on the menu does not taste so great. However, you kind of go here for the VIP experience, not a restaurant one so for that reason I love this place and recommend it. The seats are comfy and it is nice to have someone serve you while you watch a movie. The staff and service is very nice too. The whole experience altogether is very different from a regular theater and worth the extra money.

Honestly, you should study the VIP theaters concept closely (or see what is done elsewhere) and then call yourself VIP. It's over a year now and they didn't care to replace the defective projector in Showroom 16! I went to see "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald" yesterday and the projector is so poor i.e. the whole movie is dark like watching with brightness set at 10%. My eyes hurt so bad after the movie. After the movie I met another family that noticed the same thing. We complained to the floor manager and he gave us free tickets for next time! I honestly don't care about the free tickets. The whole thing ruined the movie experience. The same problem happened last time I went there to see Thor Ragnarok which is like a year ago in same showroom. At that time, I did complain to the floor manager and it seems they didn't do anything since. The floor manager did confirm to me the projector is very expensive to replace so as long as the cost of giving out free tickets is negligible it might stay that way for awhile...WOW! I think I'll avoid going to this theater next time. I don't want to end up on showroom 16 again!

I have been experiencing movies at the VIP cinema since they first opened in 2012 and the experience remains superior to a regular movie theatre showing. For a premium price (around 18.99$ a person) you will have the ability to reserve seats, sit in comfortable large recliner-like chairs in a kid-free surrounding while enjoying real food and alcoholic drinks. There is significantly less people than at your regular theatre and you can elevate your movie experience by ordering food and having it brought to you while seated. Over the years, the offerings for food and beverages has changed drastically. The VIP menu used to feature mostly burgers or bar style snacks like nachos or wings, however during my last visit this past weekend, I found many refined options like lobster mac and cheese, gourmet salads and full meals just like at a regular restaurant. They also offer a special package on select weeknights for a 3 course feast which is perfect for a couple's night out. From the moment you purchase your tickets and walk in, the entire experience is suited for a VIP. There is a beautiful bright interior with many tables and sofas to lounge while you wait your movie or dine and best of all, the restrooms are all individual stalls featuring clean and modern toilets (the flush is a large flat panel on the wall!). The only drawback is that the VIP cinema is now longer "new" as the furnishings are showing signs of wear and tear. The faux-leather chairs are starting to peel and some the booths in the lounge area are sagging. I also noticed the bathrooms used to offer tissue boxes but these have been removed and there is only hot water coming out of the tap. There are no water fountains (unlike a regular cineplex) so I am assuming that the hot water in the restroom is to discourage people from drinking it and force you to purchase something instead. TIP- if you are a Costco member, it is of great value to purchase Cineplex gift certificates, as for the same price, you will obtain a coupon for free popcorn and soda. The VIP cinema is a unique experience to Quebec and a must try, at least once, if you value watching movies in theatre. Just a warning that it can be hard to switch to regular theatres after.

There is always an insane amount of people on weekends. They do not have enough registers at the ticket counter and not enough self-serve ticket machines. The lines at the food counters always move extremely slowly. The vip is overpriced; you basically pay more for the ticket just so that you can buy more expensive food(most of which is not that good).

Worst experience at the vip cinema we got movie seats and they neglected to tell us the seat you choose on the screen are reversed meaning the rows up of the screen is actually down at the bottom and they didn’t even tell us its 3D... we order food and 1h later it still hasn’t come yet and they tell they forgot to bring it out then we ask for them to pay us back and they refused and told they could give us movie vouchers that arent even worth the 25$ cost each ticket we paid !!!! OVERALL HORRIBLE CINEMA !!!!!!!!!!!

Love the VIP cinema experience, no one under 18 allowed. Bar and restaurant. Big spacious seats with personal table. Seat service, menu at your preselected seat, server will come take your order and deliver. It's not cheap, but worth the expense, especially on a Tuesday. Clean individual unisex bathrooms. My only complaint is the floor inside the cinema, it was so sticky, could use a regular mopping.

Also good for families with young kids and babies on Wednesdays. They even supply diapers and a table to change them at the front. Perfect for parents in need of some time together without having to find somebody to take care of the baby.

Classy, roomy, table service, front row is full electric lazy boys, all other chairs are rocking chairs with little table for the "verre de vin", individual bathroom etc, this is the V.I.P. part =/= normal odeon

This is definitely my favorite place to watch movies on a big screen. Their prices might be a little bit higher than other theaters, but the Scene rewards are making up for it and it's completely free to subscribe to. They also have different options to enjoy the movies even more: the AVX lets you buy your tickets in advance and reserve your seats and the D-Box option gives you an immersive experience with special customizable seats that moves and vibrate, following the movie of course. Now let's talk about the VIP section. The VIP is really different from any other place I've been to. It's perfect if you want to treat yourself or someone else, but keep in mind that the prices are high. The sound quality is the best you'll find and the seats are super cozy. There's a waitress/waiter service where you can order food and drinks from your seat and they will bring it directly to you. The seats have a small table-like shelf to let you eat comfortably and put it away once you're done. There is a lot of other stuff I cannot tell you about since I've only been there 2 or 3 times, but it's definitely worth the experience if you can spare the coins.

This is probably the newest Cineplex in the Montreal area and the only one with a VIP section, which is awesome to say the least. Unfortunately, in recent years, they don't offer VIP viewing during daytime limiting the VIP viewing options to nighttime hours, which is disappointing for those of us with kids as they are not allowed in the VIP section. Many times, the movies are only playing in French and you have to go to guzzo or on the island for the English language viewing. Parking can be tough to get near the cinema but there is plenty of parking nearby if you are willing to walk for a couple of minutes.
