Been to many theatres, and yes, some have all the new / fancy stuff, but this is a nice home town theatre who cares about the community (they have a program that provides free movie passes to kids who accomplish charitable service). Prices are reasonable, movie selection is relatively current given only 2 screens, and the butter is real and is free. In 15 years, the only problem I faced once was the popcorn machine breaking down (so everyone could only get the small size).

Step Up to the sidewalk wicket and buy your tickets then pass the concession stand surrounded by cinematic nostalgia. Sit in comfortable seats that rock. Then finally and most touching is the film introduction delivered by one of the young employees at the theater. A lot of small town charm going on here.

This theatre, located in Uxbridge, has a nostalgic feel to it as soon as you walk in. There are 2 movie theatres and they are about a third of the size of the bigger Cineplex theatres. It's great going here because the lineups are short. I would recommend this theatre even just for the calming nostalgic ambiance.

I appreciate this theatre being in Revelstoke as it gives a much needed entertainment boost to a potentially event scarce town. Positives: Popcorn and drinks were good. Affordable to say the least. Friendly all around attitude of staff. Seating was pretty comfortable and balcony seats are almost unheard of. Negatives: Should take covid restrictions seriously. No cares for masks or social distancing. Plus alcohol was being consumed by minors right behind us.

Great place to thank the kids on a Sunday afternoon, but don't be late, they have 2 small theaters and it gets busy fast. They have reduced prices for Matenees and pre fixed prices for combinations of Popcorn,candy and drinks. Unfortunately no coffee offered for the Adults, and you can't bring your own with you. New Movies show here upon release, that's when it gets really busy. This is also a retro movie house, with some history. They also offer specials for Birthday parties and other events. There is also a program that the kids can get involved in, that is community based. Great place!!

A two-theatre cinema with a snack bar and comfortable seats, all within 100 feet of the sidewalk. For those who prefer a quieter, cozier movie-going experience, it is perfect. The sound system is up to the job, though! Old movie posters and art deco styling add to the vintage atmosphere.

We've missed The Roxy so much during the pandemic, and frankly were quite terrified we might lose it. We will (gratefully) be buying tickets for a screening there very soon!

We just rented the Roxy for our household and the whole experience was amazing! We brought the two newest additions with us (Born this January) and Greg made the whole experience better tha n we could have expected! We kept the lights on, dimmly to make it easier to manage the kids, and even got the volume tweaked to the perfect kid friendly level! 10/10 would highly recommend renting the Roxy for your private group!

The Roxy gives great service, has better popcorn than cineplex (not sure what it is about it) and they're made so many improvements since the last time I was there. They now offer debit and the chairs in the theatres have been upgraded to larger more comfortable ones.

We’ve only just begun to go to the Roxy In the last couple of years, having recently moved to the area. I’ve never been to such an amazing theatre. It’s such a clean and polished environment, the theatres and seats are immaculate. The buttered popcorn is the best. We've only have excellent experiences and we feel lucky to have a theatre like this in our town.

Roxy Theatre Uxbridge has always given back to their community. Whether through the amazing Movie, Manicure & Martini night to raise funds for a local charity that is one of my favourites, to my kids growing up with Roxy Kids in Action doing volunteer work around the community, to the most recent Covid-19 opening up for us to by their yummy popcorn for their door. They have an awesome nostalgic theatre too. How many people can say they have a movie theatre owned by such caring people like we do? Thank you Cathy Christoff. From the bottom our our hearts.

What a cool place. Grew up with an old theatre in Cloverdale, BC, but it shut down a couple years ago. Stopping in Revelstoke for a night, we found this theatre by accident and had to check it out. We saw the movie “Tag”, and it was awesome. Such a cool nostalgic theatre - we’ve never been too one with balcony seating before!

We visited Revelstoke town in August 2019 and stayed at the mountain resort for just one night. While walking down the streets after dinner we saw a nice old fashioned movie theatre called 'Roxy'. It was in the street named Grizzly Plaza. It was too late to enjoy a movie but we liked the neon lit old style cinema house which had a single screen.

Beautiful time, great staff, great price for the matinee! Now, let's talk lighting. When the movie isn't playing there needs to be more light. Considering the ramps/inclines. People like myself with walking issues need to see where we are walking. I couldn't sit with the girls because I didn't know if I could make it. Very sweet little theatre but very disappointed with “rules” of the theatre. It was pouring rain and when I bought tickets for my family for a movie and waiting on one person from my party, I was told that not only was I allowed in the theatre but not allowed in the BUILDING until everyone was there. It was pouring rain and although there was a canopy to “stand under” we still had to wait. I understand not going into the theatre but making people wait outside especially with inclmate weather is beyond bogus and VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am a STRONG believer in supporting small businesses but I will no longer be supporting this business. The people with me will also not be supporting The Roxy in Uxbridge Ontario.

Great small town theatre! Always have 1st run, blockbusters showing there. My only complaint is the seats! They do move forward and back, which helps let people in or out without the whole row standing up. I personally think they're super uncomfortable, but that may just be me, a sufferer of chronic neck and back pain.
