After the Owen sound drive in closed I was sad because I live going to them with my parents but then one day we went to the Hanover drive and loved it it's well kept way better than the Owen sound one with more food options on the menu

A novel experience. FM radio for sound is good but watching a small square screen through your windshield is limiting. The price reflects that limitation and lots of people were having a good time.

A wonderful place to take the family for a movie or two. It would be nice if it had more rest rooms for the ladies but the location is classic and it's a tradition for many to bring the kids here.

Love going to the drive in! Amazing friendly staff. However, If ur driving a big truck, be respectful and park in the back rows. Also, make sure u take your huge racks, that stick up 3 feet on top of your truck, off. :) other than rude people, it was great

You can use debit as well as cash! Really great drive in! The screen is a white wooden wall, and it is so well maintained that it holds up better than a screen at other drive ins and older theatres. There are lots of concessions for purchase. What stood out to me were the lights for safety, numbered rows and posts designating a spot for each vehicle. Saw Jurassic Park and it was a cool way to revisit an old favourite. Also no light pollution- you get movies and stars ❤️

We saw Space Jam here two weekends ago. Very nice staff, good parking spaces and the concession food was tasty. No complaints, would come here all the time if it was a little closer to where I lived.

The Drive-In Movie Theatre in Hanover has been a great place for friends to go watch movies in traditional Drive-In mannor. The area is always so clean and well kept with a great selection of food from the lobby area. I would recommend this Drive-In for it's nestalgic presence and great location.

This was my first drive in movie experience so I don’t have a reference for comparison, but this was a great venue! We went on a Sunday night and it wasn’t too busy, the bathrooms were clean and everyone was helpful and friendly. For those, like me, who haven’t done this before. Tune your radio into 87.9 for sound, turn you car on intermittently so your battery doesn’t drain, keep your headlights off, face toward the screen, or if you have room to sit in the back, reverse in. Snacks and drinks are available, and definitely cheaper than the regular cinema. Great experience! Go and support this local business ????

Most well upkept drive in I've ever attended. The staff were friendly. The prices were reasonable. The screen aspect was of though, choosing the viewer a slight loss of either edge of the letterbox image.

It's a great throwback to go to the drive-in movies. Thirty bucks for two adults and a teenager, but you would pay more at a cinema. As you would expect the concession fare is not cheap but overall a fun night out.

Nice people, clean place. Only wish I could have heard the movie. All of the other attendees were respectful and quiet but it did not make up for the low volume of the speakers. I had to move my car mid film because we could not hear anything, and even with the move to a hopefully closer spot to the speakers, we lost about half of what was said in the movie.

I love this theater. We watched Avengers Endgame along with Captain Marvel in a double feature, bought popcorn, coffee and Smarties all for way less than a mainstream theater. The only problem I had was that turning my car's ignition to accessory only allowed me to watch for about 15 minutes before the battery saver kicked in and turned it all off. Be sure to grab the FM radio from the concession stand if you drive a newish Toyota or other car with advanced power management features. The screen is not widescreen but I didn't even notice until late in the evening. I don't think I missed anything.

The drive in in Owen sound closed down due to too few people coming. So I think it's very important to support our last drive in in this area. You get 2 movies for ten bucks, very affordable. Plus watching a movie outdorrs in a beautiful summer night is always special. Great snack bar. Yummy popcorn. Lots of room for the kids to run around and play toll movie starts. I just love it

Old school drive in experience that hasn't changed much since the last time I was there in 1998. Prices are reasonable enough, pepsi products only at the snack bar. Sound over the radio worked really well and it wasn't too buggy if you wanted to sit outside and watch. Only detractor is that the screen isn't 16x9 format, so they have to pan and scan, which can be annoying.

Awesome place to go catch a double, triple or even a quadruple feature! Can't beat the price! Best fries and movie popcorn! Nice friendly staff. The guy who you see when you pull up to pay is always smiling and happy! ONE WORD OF ADVICE, when parking in the front row. Do not park beside a newer model HONDA CR-V - DARK SILVER in colour, licence plate # ASHM 801 with the licence plate trim cover Hanover Honda printed on the frame (they always park in the front row). This couple talks throughout the entire movie without any consideration for others who are sitting outside their cars or have their windows rolled down trying to enjoy the nice summer weather. Even after asking them to be quiet they continue to talk and talk and talk.... I've seen them there on multiple occasions and they do the same thing every time. The female is on her phone for the whole 4 hours. The glow of the bright light is distracing to others (along with the constant chatter of her commenting to everything in the movie). They both must be on their phones because the entire inside of their HONDA CR-V is glowing with light. This must be also be distracting to anyone parked in the row behind them... They are extremely rude and should be BANNED! If you want to talk, then stay home and watch a movie by yourselves.

From my experience, this place was actually great. The food was good, although they do advise you don't bring your own food but you know, do your thing. Also mostly everything on the menu is about $5 so bring at least $10 for a significant meal. I guess that's all, the movie is the movie.

We've been going to this drive-in since we first camped here in 2005 and love it. Kids love playing in front of the screen before movies, lots of room for them to run around and burn off steam. Movies are current and you can't beat the price, especially on long weekends when they show 3 or 4 movies in a row! I'll warn the ladies, there's a huge line up for the washroom between movies, pack your patience and try not to be jealous of the fact that the men's has no line up! A lovely bit of nostalgia that's worth the drive.

We went this week end for the first time. Its a bit of a drive for us...over 100 km one way but its a family tradition to do the drive in when vacationing up north. Sadly Owen Sound closed so naturally we were so pleased to discover Hanover drive in. The staff were so nice and friendly...and even gave us easier and faster directions back to our cottage. Loved it! New family tradition has begun!! Only issue I had was how small the bathroon doors were (or rather how high up from the ground they are) felt a bit awkward and not super private.

I like the layout, its like the laneways are graded to make your front wheels sit higher to angle your vehicle towards the screen.... However i hate that they don't have designated truck, van, and idiots with their vehicles parked backwards with their hatches open towards the back of the lot... So you get there early, get the perfect spot... And someone gets there later, and parks their pavement princess with a 6 inch lift and 8 antennas parks infront of your little car... Ruining the whole process also not enough people to show people how to turn off their lights!
