A decent theatre. No box office anymore. Either you buy your tickets online, at a kiosk, or from the concession. The washrooms being at one end of a very long hallway of screens can be a problem.

One would think after making probably millions that the screens would be updated. If you look close, you can see flaws on any of the screens. Sad part, once you notice it's hard to look away! Otherwise, everything is way over priced. It's a disappointment that one of the greatest pass-times can charge so much for something as cheap to make as popcorn.

They don't use their popcorn merchandisers so the popcorn is cold by the time you get to the theatre. Other than that, the sound and video quality for the movie was excellent, which is what we were there for anyways.

Staff here are always friendly and definitely got some cleaning done place looked a lot better. Still could upgrade the seats and redo carpets been a long time but the arcade is fun. I'd love to see another avx screen go in here and or a IMAX. Barries surely got the size to warrant it. Would be nice to not have to go to Newmarket or Toronto to watch a movie when north end has a different. Movie in avx then what want to see.

The theatre is not very clean. They never seem to take care to make it feel tidy or even simply clean. The floors are sticky and the bathrooms are extremely awful. The prices for popcorn and drinks are ridiculous. There is a lot of room for improvement at the theatre.

Had a bad experience there and won't return. They had women cleaning the men's washroom during the film. I reported the complaint to the manager and nothing happened. I have had the same experience again three times. I have also had a rude encounter with a female manager there who has really turned me off the whole experience.

Theatre is the only real option if youre in Innisfil/Barrie. Get a bit busy as expected on weekends but coming during the week its nice and quiet. Its clean, the theaters are nice, and staff are helpful.

A Galaxy theater is just that, a galaxy theater. It's fun it's noisy and the food is typical for the standard, I personally love it here. The reason I rate this cinema 4/5 is because of its lack of upgrading to a feature called Time Play. Time Play is found in most new Galaxy Cinemas and some of the older upgraded ones. Time Play if you aren't familiar with it, allows us the option to play video games from our smart phones on to the big screen, while we wait! There all sorts of prizes to be won and it's always super fun. The staff is super friendly and the arcade is always a good time!

So basically I didn’t have the best experience here to say the least. I had to wait 45 minutes before my movie so I was sitting in the cafe. As I was sitting here my friend commented on the fact that there isn’t wifi. So what occurred was I asked the employee why and then the manager was asked to come and answer my question. He came RUDLY up to me from behind the cash and explained that they do not promote cell phone usage. So I said “don’t you think people would want to stay here if there was?” Because to be honest when waiting there isn’t anything to do. Also not to mention the customers end up starting at a screen, therefore doesn’t really explain why then wouldn’t promote phones when it is a store that relays on technology. I feel bad for all of the employees who deal with him as a manager. He was pretty rude and totally ruined the night, so sad to see how he treats customers who spend 5 dollars for a water that contains co2 and sucrose. If you want to be treated rudely go there????. He definitely lost my business, and I’m happy to see that there are better employees at different cinemas.

Nothing extravagant about this theatre. Average run of the mill. Downside was the Starbucks coffee - no one was in line, yet it took a good 5 minutes to get my coffee. It was like the worker did not know how to use the machine. Definitely didn't taste like a typical Caramel Macchiato from Starbucks.

We tried the D-BOX experience for the first time. I was under the impression that we were going to see the movie in 3D as well considering the extreme price of 22 dallors per person. Well to my dismay, the movie was not in 3D, and the moving seats were a huge disappointment. You did not move with the movie, or feel like the movement made sense to the action scenes. The seats mostly just vibrated, which I found irritating; I shut my seat off halfway through the movie. Complete waste of money. I will not be doing that again and I'm pretty burned that I missed out on the 3D.

Cinema was great. Clean, quick service and readily identifiable directions made it quite enjoyable. However, the location is a little off the beaten track at a corner lot back of Maple View. So not real easy to get to. Then also the front access to the cinema needs to be rethought to allow for more traffic.

Slow service. Box office was closed, had to pay at the popcorn stand. Food was slow to be ready even when i was one of 2 people in line. Arcade token distribution machine doesnt give 6 coins when I put in $, 2 got 5 and had to ask for the 1 token that didnt come out. Some machines dont work and i had to go request for the lost tokens from broken machines and the customer service was nothing to satifying. But the nachos and the funny looking poutine were good.

Place is pretty old. And you can feel it. It is a local cinema and I travelled 20 mins to get there. I didnt know how service is working (just every place has it's own system right?) And server treated me as I am an idiot. Otherwise - good movie is a good movie. Nothing can beat it.

We have gone here a couple of times since moving, It has not been super busy and lineups went smoothly. The building, including bathrooms, we're kept tidy. There is no VIP lounge in this theatre, that I noticed anyways, but other than that it is a good theatre to visit. We will be using this one again.

Always clean and professional. Staff are very nice especially the guy who takes your ticket and gives you your own personal "show" depending on the movie you are going to. It smelled like urine and feces where I sat. They’ve changed the size of the drinks included in the combos and fill them with ice so you need another before the movie even starts. The combo with popcorn, 2 drinks and a candy was 30bucks! They played 20 mins of previews before showtime and then played the same previews after showtime. I think the person manning the film fell asleep or left because the lights didn’t come on after the movie was over so everyone had to use their phones to light their way out. I’ll rent from home next time.

I was at this theatre tonight to see The Ghost in the Shell. It played in Theatre number 11, the same theatre I was in last time I attended this Cinema to see John Wick 2. Early on during that movie, it was VERY evident that there was absolutely no bass at all, as if all of the subwoofer channels were turned off or missing. I went out and informed a staff member who assured me they would look into it. It was not fixed at all during the movie, and I informed the manager on duty after the film ended. Well apparently he too had either no idea what he was doing, or didn't care enough to fix the problem, as the movie tonight had the SAME ISSUE. I actually saw John Wick 2 a different night after the initial viewing, at a different theatre and it had a prodigious amount of bass throughout the movie, that only confirmed what I knew about this theatre in Barrie. Not having 50% of the audio that should be present for a movie (especially the low frequency effects which are a huge part of the experience) completely ruins the show. I will absolutely not be returning to this theatre again.

This place has everything you need to enjoy a night out at the movies without any of the clutter that takes away from the experience. My only complaint is that they got rid of slushies to make way for alcohol....I'm guessing that's a big plus for most people, so it's just me who is sad. Come on by, catch a flick.

Arrive early and you won't have a problem. We were a bit late and found 2 spots which we got kicked out of because they were saved for someone else. After that we couldn't find 2 spots together as the theatre was packed. We got a refund on our tickets and our food, they let us keep the food which was nice.

Seats need to be replaced. Oven wasn't working - only hotdogs & nachos were available. Tired theatre, needs a major upgrade/update.

Pretty much have to take a small loan out to go there. The movie tickets are way cheaper than the popcorn and pop. My daughter and I seen the Avengers and it cost us about seventy five dollars. I guess everything has to cost 100 dollars these days oh well.

We absolutely love taking our kids to watch a movie! Glad we buy passes at costco because the snacks are so expensive!
