This Movie Theater is classified in the category of Movie theater.
Great service however a little overpriced when you can go to Landmark in St. Albert and get more comfortable seats that fully recline for the half the price. However it is still a great experience.
I went windermere VIP Cinema for watching movie Tenet with my wife. This time, we tried to D box experience but we had very bad experience. It is pandemic but we went the theater because of Tenet and selected D box experience for new movie and we thought in the theater, everything is clean and more sanitized for Covid 19 issue. But we doubt our eyes... no cleaning dirty, stains on the D box chairs which were selected and set up for us so we couldn't change them. No more D box No more pay extra.
I'll start with the good, the seats are comfy, the service is great, and it's neat being able to eat real food during a movie. You get there and can hang out in the lounge before your movie, where you can order food and drinks and wait in comfort. When your theatre is ready you can go in, find your seat and choose from the menu. A server takes your order and you have to pay right away. They then bring your order before your movie starts and you get to eat in the dark while watching. The bad. VIP tickets are twice the cost of regular tickets, the seats are about the same as a normal theater, but with little tables. Drinks are average bar costs ($8 to $10 for cocktails, wine, beer) and are a decent size/quality, the food prices are average ($15 for burgers range) but really mediocre. Our fries were stale and like styrofoam in the middle, and the sweat potato fries were raw and crunchy inside. My wrap has a weird flavour, but it was so dark I couldn't figure out what it was. It cost us $130 for 2 tickets, 2 drinks, 1 appetizer, 2 entree's. While a neat experience, we won't do it again.
Did the VIP experience. Nothing like sitting in your reserved seat at a theatre with a menu and bar selection and have a server bring your order to you. The VIP theatre doesn't have all the elaborate sound and visual mediums as going in the adjacent theatres but that's ok. Ultimately it depends on the type of movie you are going to see and if you have a date, great place to go.
Service was awesome. Food was not the greatest but I've reached out to management to look at so no one else experiences what tastes like 2 day old fries. Everything else was amazing though
Overall very good following protocols but popcorn was very salty
I really liked the size of the recliners! Yes you heard me recliners! It was awesome. Very comfortable, and the popcorn was really good! The good man behind the counter buttered my popcorn perfectly.for me.I like lists of butter on my popcorn! Lol All in all a great experience!
Love this place. The games are fun too.
Went to vip. The drinks, popcorn and seats were great. It was clean and comfortable
Watched the Superbowl in the VIP theater. $5 for the ticket, $6.50 for domestic pints which is usually the norm now. We didn't order any food but it was great that during the 3+ hours we were there, it was in seat service the entire time. The only complaint we had was the volume could've been louder.. especially during the halftime show where it was turned down even more. Overall, amazing experience and will be back next football season!
OK setup, but crazy hot. We came here for the AC and it was hotter than outside
Uncomfortable seats but otherwise good
Just saw the new spider man movie in the video section was a good experience that was my second time in the vip section. Staff were accommodating and kept our safety in mind good job guys
Windermere Cineplex is always a great choice. Friendly service and clean theaters. I tend to go to Windermere despite having several closer options for theatres in the city.
Super clean! Super dead. Good covid 19 practices. Poor staff looked dead on the inside due to lack of customers.
Nice seats and big seats/aisles
Got a popcorn with several strands of hair in it! Definitely not mine, they were buried about halfway through the bag. Disgusting!
Clean, large auditoriums with good COVID protocols still in place.
For one of the older VIP theaters it was ok. But there are better seats in some of the non VIP theaters now.
Look, it’s slightly more expensive than a normal theatre, for an order of magnitude better experience. Just do it.
It was comfortable for us since we move, great installations
No recliners at this one. Staff is friendly. Can be a long walk to theatres. Theatre was packed. Yes, some spacing was left on sides, single seats, but right on top of each other in cramped rows. Felt COVID unsafe.
The VIP theater sitting was a disappointment compared to the north Edmonton VIP theater. The seating is just a regular theater with waiter service added. North Ed VIP is a true VIP theater experience, huge heated seats that recline, with way better service.
With the creation of landmark cinimas and there quality seating it's hard to go back to cinoplex. The seating is always uncomfortable even in the vip as you cannot recline very well. The food still tops that of landmark though giving it a slight bump up. If landmark can match the food I wouldn't see myself back at a cinoplex theater.
Clean and comfy place for a movie. Love the VIP area
2 star review purely because anyone who comes here to do a VIP movie, do not do it. The seats do not recline, they are small, and they are old, to top it off they are just stiff and hard. I was actually sore after sitting for 2.5 hrs watching the Eternals movie. The leather was cracked and peeling on the arm rests which makes it uncomfortable. I have been to other Cineplex vip theaters. They are supposed to be large seats with recliners and heaters. I can't justify the price when there are recliners for $10 cheaper in the regular theatre.
I love this theatre, I'll happily return
Really great night yesterday going to see the new James Bond movie. Great to see the thatre open again. Safety procedures are in place and made us feel comfortable about our safety.
Fantastic service in the VIP lounge. Good food. The burger seemed like it was a frozen commercial patty and would be better with a handmade lean patty. The fries were great. Held back a star for the burger patty.
I really can't go back to a regular theatre after VIP. Seriously once you go to VIP you will not be able to go to sit in a regular theatre again. The bar is nice with delicious drinks. The theatre is nice and the seats are wide and comfortable with little tables. The bathrooms are really nice. I left one star off because I think the food is too pricey for what you get. The food is not bad but for the price you pay you may as well eat dinner somewhere else first then watch the movie. But having snacks and booze served to you in front of a big screen is fantastic!
It was fun - I like the love seats. The food is terrible though - don't eat dinner there! Drinks are good though. Popcorn is cheaper. I got the tickets BOGO - I would never pay full price.
It is a great experience. Like the front row seats (recliners). Like relaxing at home, but with a huge screen and surround sound. Great to be able to order from a menu and then have brought right to you. Some of the food is good while some is lacking. Service this time was bad.
Good place to watch a movie with the family. Ample parking. The staff were all pleasant. Washrooms were clean. Snacks were tasty. Only negatives were the seats cushions have flattened over the years and could use replacement, plus the ceiling around the vents and side walls could use a good dusting.
I prefer this cinema to the chaos of South Edmonton Common. Parking is decent and the theatres aren’t overcrowded. The lines to pick up your soda drinks are usually splashed with an accoutrement of various pops on the floor from sloppy patrons so be aware of which line up you stand in! Great screens and larger seating area means you usually get a good seat too. Highly recommend this place!
The VIP experience is so awesome. It's a bit expensive, but totally worth it. My new favorite way to watch movies!! Great drink and food service and really fast. Better to go a bit early so you have time to order your drinks and food.
Usually the service here is great but tonight they struggled. The food order was almost an hour by the time we recieved it the movie had started. We had to find the waitor and ask what was taking so long. They did apologize and provide some coupons for next time. The movie was good and the rest of the facility was as expected.
The theater is always clean and the seats are comfy. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for a young dark haired guy with glasses that gave me attitude for wanting to top up my drink after it spilled. I talked to someone else that worked there and they said yes, go fill your drink. This young guy said "no refills, get water" I proceeded to get water and he stood behind me the whole time. I turned around and walked out after that. Atmosphere is great, staff needs more customer service skills!
Amazing service, drinks and food were awesome! The staff was super friendly too! Honestly would go here for every movie I want to see if it weren't so far away from where I live. Highly recommend!!
They are always friendly, and I never feel like I am sitting in filth.
The overall experience of the theatre is okay but their food wasn't. I watched Spiderman: no way home yesterday, I was enjoying the movie with my popcorn until the taste of the popcorn was weird I quickly turned on my flashlight and saw a slivers of hair stuck on one piece at the bottom of the bag, it was disgusting. I noticed that the people that are working in the concession stand doesn't wear any hairnets, which is very unsanitary since they are handling food that they serve to customers.
Vip theater is nice. The pop machines at the concessions have been switched to choose your own flavor self serve. The staff is friendly and efficient. The bathrooms are kept clean. The small arcade isn't nearly as awesome as south common but it is still fun! This location rocks because it isnt very busy compared to the south common location.
V.i.p is the only way to watch a movie that's longer than 2hrs. Full reclining seats. Took kids to scotiabank and they were expecting popcorn but due to government restrictions we weren't allowed. I was surprised windermere didn't up capacity so you can order food and take popcorn drinks etc. In to your seating area. Will make windermere our go to for movie destinations for that reason. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Thank you windermere cineplex.
I had a VIP price for a not so VIP experience... I really thought all VIP lounges are standard.. apparently not. Came here to watch The Ethernals at their VIP set up but to my big disappointment, this VIP theater set up is just slightly better than the normal ones. It doesn't have the fully reclined soft leather heated seat, wide seating and proper side table. Instead, you get stiff, small seating... The worse is.. you pay for the FULL VIP price!!! So... if you want the VIP experience.. DO NOT COME HERE, go to the other one.....
Even though you'd have a pleasant experience, the facilities are pretty old. I was quite surprised that the VIP screening had somewhat uncomfortable seating with no reclining. The seats were smaller with not so much of a comfort.
Their arcade hurt my hand when playing air hockey. Place needs an update.. they spent it all on the awesome vip lounge and the rest is a bit outdated. Great great food. Sad about the promo meals for vip are gone. Came on a Wednesday and was disappointed. Affects my want to come back.
It is nice to get to a movie again.
Shittty experience
Went to the early show(12:30, the first show of the day) to see Venom2 on Saturday. This was the first movie with the family at this location since covid. The bathroom was clean, theratre was fine, movie was good. However, we all had large drinks and large popcorn. The popcorn was so dry and cold despite layered butter. I did not eat mine and after the movie I learned that none of my family members ate their's either. I suspect the popcorn was left over from the night before and served to us. I don't recall seeing/hearing the popcorn machine running when we ordered. A tad gross and a waste of money. Never had this happen at WEM. Disappointed.
The theatre was good and so was the food... the amazing part was the customer service, even if I look for it, I can't find a flaw in it!! The only thing I didn't like was the seat!! I expected them to be comfy recliners, they are not!! I understand that recliners might take a lot of space so not feasible for this theatre but atleast make them comfortable enough that you feel the difference from your regular theatres!! Other than that, everything else was quite wonderful!!
Great place to see movies! I love that you can order a glass of wine and/or food with your movie. The people who go to the VIP theater here really want to be here. So there's less talking and texting during the movies. And no sticky floors. Seats are comfortable. The wait for food is usually good. Staff are really helpful when taking your order. It's a great date night place or with friends.
VIP theatre was an awesome experience. 3D wasn't working for the movie we saw (didn't affect the picture quality) so they gave us a free pass for our next movie. Food was great as well. Seating is comfortable giving you tons of space and the addition of a mini table at your chair is nice.
NIce place for a night out. VIP experience is great.
it was okay. the movie was good. The service kinda boring.
Went to see spiderman no way home. The picture of the movie cut out three times while the sound kept playing. They didnt rewind it either. Unacceptable, especially on opening weekend of a movie people have been waiting and speculating about for over a year now.. couldn't even finish the movie cause we had missed so much of it. Worst experience
Worst Cineplex ever; has bad management and lacks coordination. The definition of Unorganized is welcomed with open hands at this cineplex.
Some of the seats were ripped including the one that I was sitting on. I'm not 100% sure why movie tickets are more expensive than regular seats as you are still paying for drinks and food...
Comfy seats with a lots of extra room in the VIP theaters. Serve you food and drink right to your seat. It's just the best! You can reverse seats so no worries about getting there super early.
Nice seats. Good movies. Popcorn is good.generous with the butter but be careful they charge 1.80 for a "full layered" butter addition. Yet it still cost 26 bucks for 2 pops, a candy pack and only one large popcorn. Be ready to spend 50$ for a couple minimum
This shouldn't even be considered VIP anymore. Yes, they will bring you food and drinks but even the seats at South Common are more comfortable. Windermere seats don't even recline. ????
Boxing Day chaos!! But customer service was excellent considering the long line ups and excited crowds. Saw "Spies in Disguise", and my little one loved it!. Awesome post-Christmas fun.
Really miss the VIP! Great drinks. Can't wait for the reopen.
Painful slow service. They could not figure out a gift card or scene card and get food right. Theatre disgusting dirty so gross would never go back
My son who is unable to wear a mask was asked 3 times by employees before he got his theatre seat where his mask was. He told each one he was not able to wear a mask. Once in our seats where we are not required to wear a mask a manager came over and told my son if he wouldn’t wear a mask she would be calling the police. He told her that he didn’t need to wear a mask once seated and she then told us she was going to call the police. Police came and by that time the head manager changed his mind and told the police we had broke their code of conduct and that’s why they were asking us to leave. He probably realized it was against my son’s rights to be asking him to leave because he couldn’t wear a mask and needed to change his reasoning. Called head office the next day and they did nothing to rectify the situation besides refunding us for our tickets. At the very least an apology from the Windermere theatre would have been appreciated. Very disappointed.
Very clean and great staff
We bought tickets to the VIP Theatre and it was well worth it. We had reserved seating and the seats were like home! Large, lots of room, side tables, all you could ask for. Service from servers right to our seats. No children in the theater as alcohol was available. Great experience to see Star Wars! Highly recommend it.
Saw James bond. ON a customer service note: I messed up the ticket ordering online and the cineplex people sent me a free set of tickets for my next movie experience. Pretty good. Also, the last time we went to a movie before that we got free tickets as well due to some sort of door snafu. pretty sweet I tell ya.
Saw movie in VIP theater. Seats were uncomfortable, sound was terrible and picture wasn't very bright. Food was great though with excellent service.
So nice to be back! Great cleaning protocols we will be back
The food is ok. The seating provides a more relaxed way to watch movies. The staff are super helpful. Better food and some live entertainment would make the VIP lounge more appealing.
The popcorn is better than anywhere else, I swear. I don't know what they put in it, but oh my goodness. The VIP experience is the best. It's worth every penny.
Theatre wasn't anything super big but it was a good size and had a good selection of movies and screens playing. Comfortable seats for the most part. Concession seemed small but decent food. VIP lounge was great. Would definitely go again.
It's a nice theatre, lots of parking space and a big wide open lobby. The regular movie theatres are good but compared to other, newer VIP theatres, this one sucks. The area looks nice but once in the the VIP theatre, it's very old fashioned. No reclining seats, no heated seats - they are very uncomfortable to sit and watch a movie.
Great theaters and popcorn
Nice place to hangout and great customer services as well.
On the upside the theater had only 12 people in for an early Friday night show. Problem is the snacks. When I'm paying that $ for a bag of popcorn I don't want to being my own salt. The movie itself - sound was muffled making it hard to hear the dialogue. The D box seat was cool.
Good place, low crowd. Go evening and to VIP in the evening. Trust me.
Went to watch a movie with my wife ordered a hot dog that was undercooked and very salty, went to use the washroom before the movie and it was completely disgusting and when I went to let someone know it needed to be cleaned all I got was a “OK” after the movie was over I went again to use the washroom on my way out and in the two hours of being in the movie it wasn’t even touched. Used to like this theater but not it’s gone down hill. I prefer to see the good and give a good review but this needed to said. Sorry Windermere .
We went an watched the new James Bond movie in the VIP theatre. Great seats and good food and drink we ordered before the show started was very good as well.
Popcorn is great, seats are comfy, wish they would clean the theaters more.
Not the VIP experience I had grown accustomed to. The seats MUST have changed or they were smaller or something. I just did not enjoy it as much as I have in the past.
I came here to watch Matrix 4 on Dec 22, I was in VIP #2. The sound was terrible, it was so low that I barely hear the conversations in the movie. Food is 4/5. Seats are definitely not "VIP", I wouldn't recommend going to this location.
Big TV keeps blacking out
We went to the VIP line up to buy tickets... after obtaining our tickets we had a wonderful supper and drinks in the VIP lounge. We then got our popcorn and drinks... and then went to look for our seats in the VIP theaters. But after talking to an attendant in the theater... we realized that we were not sold VIP tickets. After getting back in the VIP line... we overheard the gentleman in front of us was also sold the wrong theater tickets. His argument was if you're standing in the VIP line they should be selling VIP tickets. Not regular tickets! Unfortunately the gentleman in front of us had purchased a whole bunch of drinks that he now could not bring into the other theater. By that time there were no two seats together so we were out of luck as well. And it should be noted we showed up an hour and a half early to have a nice meal in the VIP lounge, a couple drinks, and to watch a movie in the VIP Theater... and it did not happen!
The VIP lounge food was of poor quality, didn't eat much of it. The servers were polite but didn't receive great service even though it was dead. The drink selection was great. The popcorn the theater were good.
It’s very good
I went to the new Landmark on 17st a few weeks ago, and then to the VIP theater here, and wow, the difference blows my mind. Landmark was muuuuuch nicer, comfier. Felt like home. Albeit, much newer, this vip theater didn't feel very VIP to me. The seats were not very comfortable and it seemed kinda small.
If I can give this location 0 stars I would. This is our first and last visit to this Cineplex location. We've always visited the South Common location but unfortunately there were no seats available for tonight. First washrooms were disgusting. 3 stalls have no toilet paper, I had to ask my daughter to check each stall. Went in to watch our movie only to get vertigo. At first we were all confused if we are watching 3D as the screen seems to be 3D. Everybody had to scramble down to grab their 3D glasses only to find out it is not 3D but the screen itself was flickering. It went on for 10 minutes when a few of us decided to find a staff/manager and show them what's going on. Spoke to 2 staff and was told they are aware and are working on it. We told the staff to call a Manager and we had to tell the Manager to stop the movie as it was giving us a headache. We were expecting a fun family night and it ended up as a huge disappointment. We wasted money on popcorn and drink and wasted gas. The lack of customer service is appalling. The Manager at the Box Office needs retraining. He just kept on reasoning out and even challenged us to write a review. By the way this is not the first time it happened, there were people who were in our time slot (9pm) that had to go back from their 6pm show because it got cancelled due to the same issues. Ruined our night and wasted our time!
Glad to be back at the VIP Theater!! Great place to go for Date Night
Ticket takers allowing non-masked individuals into theatres AFTER Alberta mask mandate implemented. Theatre seats were filthy with garbage, popcorn cups and drinks from previous seatings just prior to our movie beginning.
Worst mgt. Don't have or don't know how to follow proper protocols when things malfunction and they are unable to screen the movie
Think this has gotten a bit out of hand. Travel into the city for date night. I forget my wallet which has my idea my mistake. They won't let us in cause I only have the QR code. Then they won't refund my visa and give me passes for a later show. Well our movie we want to see doesn't take passes so your welcome for the 40 dollars in donations. I get I forgot my id but there is no accommodating at all. Your customer services has vanished behind this covid stuff. Really unimpressed.
My husband purchased the dinner and a movie $70 deal and it was quite the ordeal once we arrived. The deal does not work with their new tablet thing. When we scanned the menu the appetizers we then chose were not options to order as per their tablet. The manager had to be called down to fix the tablet problems- which in turn had our food and drinks come much later disturbing our movie. The server and manager did the best the could and honestly handled the situation very professionally. Moving forward galaxy needs to fix these problems ASAP! It’s not fair to your servers and your guests
It was nice to get to a movie after the lengthy closure due to Covid.
Absolutely awesome experience. My friend invited me out to see the new venom movie (great movie btw) but this had been the first time in the vip theater and the facilities are super clean and well taken care of. The vip service is awesome and the person who was helping us was super nice and helpful (I don't remember her name). I highly recommend this theater and the staff were awesome!
Saw paw patrol, plenty of space between seating, and good movie environment. Haku to be able to safely visit a theater again.
This theater is not enforcing the physical distancing seats at all. We had a group sitting within the "Physical Distance" seats so they were directly behind us. Usher looked at them several times yet failed to do anything about it. Thanks for ruining the safe movie experience. Will not be returning to this location.
Nice and clean theatre VIP customer service is great Seat were not comfortable though
Love the VIP theatre! The bigger seats and table space is so much more comfortable and convenient. The table service in the theatre is also a great perk. But bring back the milkshakes!
Went to Ghost Busters at VIP. Covid protocol at entrance was professional and efficient. Got to our seats in time to order the crispy chicken tacos, which are excellent, and bottle of red wine. Kicked back in the comfy seats and thoroughly enjoyed the evening! Great theater, great seats, great staff, and excellent food choices and quality! Highly recommend the VIP!
How can someone site right beside me with no distancing? This is a joke
the seats don't recline. they need to upgrade. Take a few pages from landmark cinemas
This theater has always been one of my favourites, but if you thought it's safe during Covid, buckle up cause you're in for a surprise. 1) Theater says they sanitize everything after each showtime, but we saw popcorn on the seats and handles, which made us question the integrity of the claim. 2) We saw people walk in without masks but no one enforced them. Perhaps it's not mandatory? The ones who had masks upon entrance would take it off inside the theater anyway, where it matters most. 3) For safety, you can only purchase designated seats: only half the rows are purchasable and only half the seats in each row with two empty seats intervals. But once inside, people start to move around, perhaps because others in their row aren't wearing masks and cough, so I don't blame them. We also saw a group of 7 friends sit right next to each other in one row without masks, which was interesting. 4) At this point, pretty much all the safety features put in place are gone. Employee comes in with a big sheet, looks around, checks everything off and leaves when clearly, she/he can see some of the seats which were meant to be empty are taken and people don't have their masks on. I don't blame the employee really, they're being paid min wage and perhaps don't want to get involved in arguments. I really wanted this to be a positive and safe experience, but sadly it wasn't. I hope you find this review useful. Stay Safe!
Very friendly staff, clean theater and a wonderful experience.
Was a great experience for my girlfriend and I! Being served your food and drinks before the movie was wonderful!
Cineplex VIP theatre is a great experience. Order food and drinks before the movie and it will be brought right to your seat. The staff are very polite. Ive always enjoyed my experience.
Amazing vip lounge, had the fishbowl definitely recommend it!
The snacks in the lounge were good the service was good too but this theater has the oldest VIP experience in Edmonton and it is tired compared to others around the city yet they still charge the same ticket prices
Friendly staff. But Social Distance in Auditorium was not followed. Plus people going in and out of Auditorium were not wearing masks. People in audience were coughing ????.
There was this one staff, That was kinda yelling at me and very rude. He must have a sad life so i understood. VIP rooms are okay, but they were kinda slow to get your orders.
I went to see Inception and Tenet post-covid in the VIP theatre. The staff was so kind, the food was delicious (and quickly made), and the theatre was super clean! The staff go above and beyond to make the experience wonderful. Although business has slowed down, you can tell that these guys take pleasure in their work. Will definitely be coming back for Black Widow in November!
Great theatre with both general and VIP theatres. I like that there are lots of kiosks so that you can get your tickets quickly. There is still a cashier that can help you on your left. There are lots of The concession lines can get quite long so make sure that you arrive early. The parking is quite big so you do not need to worry about parking.
My first time here was to watch Deadpool in VIP, and second time for Deadpool 2. Great experiences both times, this is now my go-to theatre! One of the VIP managers, (I think his name was Marvin), always says hi from a safe distance whenever we see him and really seems to treat his VIP patrons as if we're guests in his home. The staff always seem happy too, sometimes almost too happy. Like penguins of Madagascar... must be some sort of inside joke????♂️
Very clean. Fast moving despite COVID restrictions. Great experience!
Great theatre and I really appreciate them staying during these times
Covid friendly,love the VIP service
VIP is the ONLY way I will watch a movie now. The seating is far bigger, much more comfortable and you actually have leg room even if you are a tall person. Food and drink to your seat via very pleasant staff. They are quick and efficient. Just male sure you show up well before the previews start if you plan on ordering food. If you have never tried VIP yet, younare seriously missing out!
Nice place to spend few hours watching movie.
Great “normal” seats, VIP is worth the price!
Awesome way to watch a big movie as a treat. Comfortable chairs, restaurant food and drink for the VIP theatres
We travelled past other theaters to go to the VIP ones here. It's well worth it! In seat food and drink service before the movies start! And they service alcoholic beverages! Seats are also comfy.
Absolutely horrendous management/coordination. Theatre’s sound system had a malfunction during the most anticipated film of the year in a sold out theatre. After 40 minutes of minimal communication with the patrons, we were told 198 seats are available in the next theatre over for the next showing, saying “First come, first serve” (bad idea), chaos ensued and people were responsible for safely getting themselves out of the theatre the second we were told to move theatres. Once me and my friend managed to settle into the next theatre over in some of the worst seats available, the same manager who told everyone it’s first come first serve told everyone from the broken theatre they need to go outside to swap there tickets, which is definitely something I’d consider important to mention prior to letting people topple over each other. Needless to say this resulted in many people vocalizing their dissatisfaction, (calling for refunds, rightfully complaining that the coordination was horrible) and the young female manager with blue hair became quite snappy in response to this, and genuinely came across as quite unapologetic throughout the whole ordeal. People were told they would get one free movie voucher if they chose to attend the movie after all, or two vouchers should they choose to go home. Due to the absolute chaos of the situation, I would in no way consider this sufficient reimbursement. Worst experience I’ve had in a movie theatre by quite a long stretch. Problems are bound to happen, Train better, Plan better, Be better.
Great experience. But the menu in VIP was way too expensive. Not worth it
We'll staffed and generally pretty clean. Not sure the VIP part is worth the hype but a good theatre none the less.
The VIP theatres are a very nice way to watch a film. It’s comfortable and clean, and it’s nice to be able to order a beer or glass of wine before the movie starts. Not much to offer for vegans. My understanding is that It would be so easy for them to make the popcorn vegan friendly.
Did the VIP here, was pretty good. The food is surprisingly good - not a whole lot more expensive than eating the junk food at the concession, and is delivered right to your seat. No reclining seats however. The north side has them and bigger trays for the food there too - would choose that location over this one. The upgraded price on the movie ticket plus food definitely makes it a bit pricey, but nice for a date night.
Watched spiderman at 10:30pm on Sunday December 26. The Dbox chairs were full of popcorn and 3D glasses, it was not cleaned between movie sets.
The VIP prices are steep, but the service is courteous and the floors were clean ✨
Arrived less then 10 minutes before Avengers show was to start in VIP. Got seated, and within a minute had a server approach us. We quickly ordered, all the while keeping idle conversation with a very friendly and attentive server. Food took a little longer then expected, thought maybe they had forgot about us... worth the wait, everything was delicious. The only issue with food was simple, we were served the wrong type of chocolate almonds... asked for dark chocolate, given milk... noticed after a few were eaten... not worth leaving the movie to correct. The movie played without a hitch and even though most stayed to the end to see if there was anything at the end of the credits... the staff were pleasant as people left the theater. We don't do VIP often, but have never been disappointed when we do.
Great to be able to get to a theater again. Staff were super friendly and helpful.
VIP theatre concept is great however the structure / service is lacking. App to order doesn’t work properly and no instruction is given on how to order etc. Servers don’t run food into theatre and due to the lack of the working app your are forced to leave the movie to order from the bar and then again to pickup your order. Need a better system.
The full experience seats do a great job of enhancing the movie experience!
Decent VIP theatre. However does not have chairs that extend to lying position
Payed $50 for dbox tickets then our movie got cancelled because of broken amps the first day the theatre opened after lockdown. We got 2 free tickets each However, everyone got the same thing even if they payed less than we did. Then I went and spoke to the manager as to why I was getting the same two ticket deal as people who paid for regular seats. She then kept repeating the same thing and not answering my question. She then got defensive. Not impressed at all as it’s been so long since we have been able to do anything due to restrictions. We were very excited to enjoy our first time out together in a year.
Nice and clean. May be becasuee we are the only one there . Cineplex need support to survive in coming year . Please experience the theater than watching on TV .
Michelle and Jessica were so kind and helpful with our unfortunate situation. After we saw our movie, we came out to our car to see that someone had parked behind us and blocked us in our spot with no way to get out. These ladies helped to turn around the situation by offering us a free movie to wait it out and called a tow truck for us. We are so incredibly grateful for their help and eagerness to rectify the situation.
It's a movie theatre. Food is expensive its nice with the reserved seating. VIP is the way to go though.
The ticket machines were not working. There was no staff at the ticket office. Then we had some issues with the other patrons in the queue . The staff didn't step up and tried to resolve the issue but stood there. They let those portions screaming at us all the time. The manager was there and didn't do anything at all. I am not saying we were or the other patron were right. But the management had the responsibility to deal with any unforeseen situation. That was their job and they were hired to do that.
