The staff here are always so friendly and are always quick to help out to resolve any issues we encounter. My biggest gripe though is that when I have gone to this theatre in the past, there have been times where teens have sat in our reserved seats and refused to move (staff resolved this quickly for us) or there will be people non-stop talking throughout the movie. I know this happens at other theatres too, but this seems to happen more often when I go to this theatre.

Love going to this theater and the movie was great "Eternals". But they started the movie around 12:25 when it started at 12. They also left the lights on during the movie and turned them off half way through. Unfortunately I won't be going back to this theater due to this.

We were informed that distancing was in effect for seating and that seats would be blocked off around us for our safety. We went and were squished between strangers. There was no need for people to be seated directly next to us during a pandemic and we will not be back. This theatre cares more about money than safety.

Snacks are ridiculous. Popcorn is $7.50 for a medium, $8.00 for a large and if u want extra butter it's 1.00. Make sure to have a big purse to smuggle snacks/drinks. Seats are extremely comfortable though.

This used to be my favorite theatre in the city, but I just went on Thursday and was definitely disappointed. Arrived 20 minutes early to our show, so we could get treats and settled before our show began. Ended up using that entire time plus some, waiting on chicken strips from Take5. There was 1 girl on staff handling all the orders and the register. After missing the first 5 minutes of the movie, we sat down in our assigned AVX recliner seats, to find they would not recline. Could have maybe dealt with it, if we were not in the second row and looking straight up. So finally after 10 minutes, I ran out to find someone who could fix it. A manager was finally called, but only after I missed a bunch of the action scenes. Will not be returning until they are properly staffed and prepared. I get it that we are just coming out of restrictions, but some kind of compensation could have been offered in either scenario when you are dropping $160+ for 4 people including food.

Went here this last sunday and went to the concession to get popcorn and watched the cashier serve half a dozen people in front of me with no gloves and without washing or sanitizing her hands.when i asked her to wear gloves she said she didnt need to. i saw her manager there so i suggested he have his staff wear gloves or sanitize hands during covid. manager says its only airborne and so there is nothing to worry about, and that its the employees choice wether or not to wear gloves, that they are all required to hand wash. threw my popcorn in the garbage. Gross! The theater was alright though.

It was December 25 (Christmas Day) and we spent our holidays in Calgary. Of course, boxing day is one of the busiest day that we expect in a big city like this. There’s not really much to do before boxing day for most of the establishments and restaurants are closed during those days. That’s right! People who work there has fAmily too and they should have time to spend holidays with them, so Im not complaining about that! We’ve decided to go watch a movie at the nearest theater where we are staying and that is here. I looked up online what time and what kind of movies are they playing. This is the first time we are gonna watch a movie on Christmas day at the theater and I didn’t expect it will be as busy as boxing day! We went after lunch but we weren’t able to watch for all the tickets are sold out for that time to any kind of movie. So we ended up buying the 7pm movie show before we head back to the hotel! Lesson learned! I suggest buying tickets online before heading to the theater! Though the kids were able to play around before we decided to go to the hotel which is nice!

The Cineplex Odeon is an easy option when coming to decide where to watch a movie. It would seem that some (if not all, I cannot confirm) of the theatres at this location have new plush leather recliner seats. A nice update to the place. While the popcorn and food is of good quality, I am basing my review not on the inside experience, but rather the outside one. My largest issue with this Cineplex location is the security, perimeter, and well being of customers. It seems this area of the city is rough. For example, years ago, walking to my car parked at the mall, my friends and I were jumped and attacked, not fun. Got beat up too. Another example, I went here a few weeks ago after dinner. There was a group of what seemed four factions fighting outside the main entrance. The cops ended up coming and the whole place was a mess. Who would want to walk through a group of fighting people. No thanks. Not worth the potential risk. It seems every time I go, this area just beckons me to go elsewhere. Have you had a similar experience? I always do in this area of the city.

The picture quality has been going down and I'm a regular at this location. Last week, I watched Eternals in 3D and it was so dim to the point of disappointment. I love that it's near my house and all, but I'll probably go to East Hills because it's newer.

NO SOCIAL DISTANCING! There was NO staff member by the entrance to check people's tickets so anyone could have just walked in the auditoriums. They did not have social distancing between groups in the auditorium seats. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! Washrooms are packed with people and not well maintained. There were no staff members around to ask to clean the washrooms. The toilets were so dirty. After the movies, I had to leave immediately as many people were in crowds talking in the middle of the hallways and entrance coughing. The little staff that were there did not seem to care. I feel like some people don't know how to watch a movie nowadays as this big group of people were talking very loudly during the movie and dropping their food and stuff all over the floor and opening up their chip bags and cans of pop very loudly. They seemed like aggressive teens who don't care so I didn't feel safe to speak up as I was afraid they would punch me or something... Will try to call cineplex again about this matter... No one should have a lousy experience when they're trying to treat themselves.

They have an arcade, and a decent food selection. The theaters have comfortable seating and there are different options for how you want to watch the movies (3D, ATMOS, ScreenX, etc.). Can get quite busy when a popular movie comes out so always book in advance if possible

Consistently positive experience. Ultra AVX is the way to go with a larger screen. Seats are comfortable and mostly clean before each viewing. There can be issues with broken recliner seats/cleanliness but those are resolved with staff very promptly! The service for food can take awhile for hot food like hot dogs, burgers, or nachos. My favorite is the pulled pork poutine. Definitely worth going here! Tickets can get reserved pretty quick for big movies but they open new seats the day before an opening in standard viewings. You won't be disappointed!

I watched Frozen 2 there 2 weeks ago and it was amazing. All the sounds in the movie were defined close up or far away. The graphics were beautiful, when Elsa did her magic I got goosebumps because it looked so clean, and also when she sang. First time out of the pandemic with the kids, we bought the combos at Costco, worst decision ever, the kids combo is more expensive than paying for the ticket at the door, and the combos have reduced their size so much and absolutely no candy choice for the kids, they use to have a choice of candies at least, now it was only twizzlers or nibs which are basically the same. Disgusted with the service. I misordered tickets (booked for an incorrect date). Within a minute I was calling to correct the situation. After shuffling through endless robot menus and bring told to dial separate numbers I was finally able to leave a voice mail. Multiple have been left and it has been several days. I have yet to receive a call back. Do not waste your money on this greedy chain. In times like these I would expect more.

The movie going experience was fine, concession lines were fairly quick. Once I purchased a ticket it went smoothly. First problem, the touch screen to but tickets is nowhere near sensitive enough. You really need to press hard on the screen to make selections. Second problem, I have both covid.vaccinations and proof of such, yet they still questioned me about my first vaccine briefly. I have no issue with getting vaccinations or providing proof. I have an issue with being questioned on the proof I provide when there is no issues as far as I can tell.

I got a mid-day reservation for the Avengers Endgame because of that the place wasn't very clean and the seating were not cleaned nor properly sanitized, the food was amazing and tasty. This is the 1st time I have been to a theater since Covid started. They have a proper system to get your QR code scanned, and it was all straight forward. The service was friendly and talkative when buying popcorn, etc. But the main reaso you go to a theater is obviously for the movie! So I went to go and watch Ghostbusters: Afterlife and I decided to try out Dbox. Mannnnnn, it was such a crazy, amazing experience! I cant believe I have been missing out on Dbox all these years! Are you KIDDING me? Never again will I watch a movie without DBOX! It is soooo EPIC! And Ghostbusters: Afterlife was a great movie! I highly recommend watching your next movie at this location!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
