Kicked out of auditorium so they could clean???? Why wasn't it cleaned during the hour between movies. If it was unsafe before it was cleaned why were we allowed in??. Secondly why is the club soda always not available here. Is it too hard to turn it on? Its available everywhere eise. This is the absolute worst ciniplex in Edmonton

I had a good experience. I bought popcorn, a large drink and a poutine. The popcorn wasn't as good as it normally is. The change to the toilet paper roll straws is unfortunate. It really changes the taste of the drink. Also didn't like the wooden fork for the poutine. Everything else was good. Staff was friendly

Absolutely superfantastic. Really enjoy it every time we go. This time we were in the nice and comfy leather recliner seats. What a terrific idea and an excellent way to watch a movie, we just saw "the invisible man ". It is suspenseful and excellent. Two thumbs up.

At first, this cinema complex is almost same style and standard as the one at the north end of the city. On a second look, this cinema outlet seems not to be as crowded as that of the North, although I visited on a Standard early afternoon. The popcorn and drink accessories are fairly not expensive and the experience was memorable for my son... Love it...

Extremely unacceptable from cineplex staff. We came at 2.30 pm on September 11, 2021 to watch a movie SHANG-CHI and the legend of the ten rings. Movie supposed to start at 4.15 pm but we checked auditorium where was on that time cleaning. We went to play on Game center where we spent an hour. At 3.40 we came back to auditorium. It was "sitting" time by monitor next to the door. I left my children and went to kiosk to buy snacks. After I come back it was 3.50 an employee enter auditorium, turn light on and walk thru auditorium. Then he came to every one ( it was half auditorium full) and ask as to leave due to another cleaning should be done. It was 3.55 pm. Extremely inconvenient with children and all purchases I did ( popcorns, drinks, food, candy e. t. c). Cleaning took 3 minutes and then they went out and announced about auditorium ready. ????

I went to go watch the new Candyman movie and the overall experience here was good. Its been a while since I had been to a theatre, my gf and I were comfortably spaced out between the other patrons and the reclining seats in Auditorium 4 were super comfortable! The staff at the food kiosk were fast and efficient, I'd go back here for sure!

We ordered popcorn and candy through Skip The Dishes tonight. It arrived fast and there was a lovely Star Wars popcorn bucket in the bag. There was handwritten note thanking us for ordering and staying home safe. Thanks for making my night Cineplex. That little gesture made us feel special.

Love the Recliner Seats here and One Nice lady who likes to Collect pins on her hat at Box Office and I think but not sure at the Concession is very good. The Renovations in most of the Cinimas are very Good. Recently tried the Screen X theatre seeing Ghostbusters Afterlife it was a wow and could see Fine I would have Preferred to try to sit next time in a futher row back but It was a Experience. I have gone here since the place opened but I do like the Improvements this place has made.

Lots of lines open on Tuesday nights for concession, theatre packed at 635. In my opinion, people would get in the theatres faster if they didn't wait in the ticket line and used the payment kiosk (unless paying with cash of course). Staff always friendly, popcorn always hot and buttery! Theatres tidy, and some what well kept! Some seats need replacing

I rented room #9 which has 100 recliner chairs for my financial brokerage to watch a virtual convention, and it exceeded all expectations! It was very comfy. I directly dealt with Tamer who set it all up for us back and forth between emails. Thankyou for everything. Then Jordan Prasad I dealt with for the day setting up the whole theatre in person and getting us everything we needed and he was extremely helpful and professional. Got us waters, set up my computer projected to the big screen, adjusted the temp in the room, checked in frequently, opened us out own confession line… Thanks so much fellas, the day was incredible. 6/5 stars if it was possible for these 2! Appreciate you both making the day a reality!

I am loving the new seats! It definitely changes the experience. Grab some snacks and enjoy the sound quality. There's often a line up for snacks so give yourself 5-10min before the movie ESPIECALLY if you want to eat from Outtakes.

I went pretty late, 10ish and the concession wait time was pretty bad even though there were about 3 other couples there, and popcorn had an off taste to it. I did loved the seat distancing procedures and movie was great.

Me and my friends always come here for movies, the customer service is always stellar and the food tasty, if you're looking for something to do I recommend checking out the recliner showings here (especially on Tuesday because they're cheaper too!).

Still wondering where my credits are. Cashier refused to give me a receipt for them. Said i would see them in 2 to 4 hours. Its 2 days and nothing. Left message for manager to call me and nothing. Guess nobody works there or doesn't care. Totally disappointed.

Terrible experience tonight. They started the movie with the lights on, so I had to request that they turn them off, which they did. Then about 20 minutes into the movie they restarted it, because (as the manager explained) a guest arrived late. I can't understand why they would make everyone watch a movie over again, and stay late, because of someone who didn't arrive on time.

The seating is good and comfortable for sure. Aisles are nice and wide so people can get by easily enough. The washrooms can be bad sometimes (Mens) though. I catch a movie here about 6 times per year and the washrooms have been pretty gross more often than not. They should really stay on top of it. Lately people cannot read seat numbers properly and I actually seen a fight start over it once. YOUR SEAT # IS ON THE LEFT LEG OF YOUR SEAT DUMMIES!! No complaints other than the toilets.

I had a surprisingly great time at this theatre. I bought tickets for a regular movie (no 3D, no special D-Box etc) and the seats were amazing! All of the seats were leather recliners with power recline buttons. I am over 6 feet and I was able to completely lay out. It was great!

First time back to a theatre in probably 2 years. Was impressed initially by the reclining seats, but they quickly turned out to be more of a nuisance than they were worth. They were comfy though so for that I give 2 stars. My partner had issues with bumping the adjust button mid-movie accidentally. There was also multiple groups of people that came and went mid movie, using their phones and shining flashlights. They were also very disruptive due to adjusting seats which they spent good amounts of time adjusting while they came and went. And to top it off the $30 bag of popcorn had this treasure in it. Luckily I was eating the bag at home in the light by the time I found it rather than blindly eating it while watching The Quite Place part 2. The guy that sold me the popcorn is a 5 star kind of guy though.

Went, on a rare cinema visit, to watch The Last Duel. Seat was v. comfortable, the ambience was a little eerie because there were so few patrons that selecting seats was a little silly but the movie was great.

In the time of Covid 19 my son's 8th Birthday was cancelled due to the restrictions put in place at the end of November. Cineplex in South Edmonton Common had the perfect save for our son. We booked an entire auditorium for the birthday. We saw Croods 2, which was awesome, and the kids had an amazing safe, and socially distanced party. Completely in line with the current restrictions, and the staff were friendly, professional, and everyone wore masks. I highly recommend this as an option for parties, or just for friends and family to be able to enjoy a movie together, while obeying the law, and staying safe.

Very nice complex. Lots of options of movies. Big parking lot: easy to find a spot. Lines can be long on a staurday, but they are fast and efficient. You can make thettradicional payment (kiosk) or go on self-service system. Different selections of finger food, includingithe traditional popcorn, gourmet popcorn, special ice cream, and many more.

The only thing I really really missed in isolation was the movie theatre. So when they re-opened we rushed there. The set up is excellent. You don't need to touch anything till seated. And the number of people in each theater is tightly controlled with specific seating only. Everything is toughness, tickets getting purchased online. Best of all ... the fully reclining seats! So good to be back.

We saw eternals in theatre 10 Lobby and theatre were clean. Quick to get through QR ID and ticket check if people had them ready Seats are comfy. Pop and popcorn purchased quickly Food at outtakes took over 15mins to come out with only us and 2 people waiting for items. Ordered poutine and boneless bites. Fries were cold and not very tasty. Gravy had good flavor but needs to be hot. It was lukewarm at most and didnt even slightly melt cheese Boneless bites were good. Mix of bbq and hotsauce. Maybe dont see movie in 3d. Alot of dark scenes and tint on 3d glasses made for some darker parts Staff upon leaving was pleasant and fully prepared for clean up

absolutely terrible service. i went there today and got called numerous racial slurs when trying to buy popcorn. they took 30 minutes to give me the popcorn and by the time I went to go see the movie, it was a already half way done. the fact that I just tried to go watch a movie and got racially discriminated for no reason is unacceptable. white people these days. do better.

I was in theatre room #8. When you walk in the building turn left and walk towards the signs, it's the first room on your left. The floor was extremely dirty inside the theater, and the seats in the theater room I was in were uncomfortable. Also the arm rest was sticky and unwashed. Obviously some seats are better in certain theater rooms, but still I just wanted to give an honest review. Next time I will splurge for the fancy theatre room with the comfy reclining seats. Still, I like going to this theater. I just hope next time it's a bit cleaner.

Saw Captain Marvel by myself. First time seeing a movie alone and it was amazing. If you've never gone solo to a movie you should start today. The ticket staff are always nice and friendly, even though it feels like Cineplex is slowly getting rid of that job. Brutal because I love chatting with them about the flick. The concession had a good variety and the girl behind the counter was very kind. Movie theater was busy but there was still ample seating. Chairs were comfortable and the movie was great. All in all 10/10 experience

Prices for the movies should be half price since you are not showing the greatest movies. Also with only 2 new movies available. Staff was not very polite as we paid almost 100.00 for snacks and tickets. Never was asked if i wanted butter for my popcorn. Another staff member was helpful and getting me some. The movie was was way too loud. Theres surround sound then theres a metal concert that keeps ringing in your ear afterwards. Thats what we got. When telling a staff member. All she said was sorry about that. Love coming to the movies. But this wasnt the best experience even with the new procedures and policies of Covid 19.

Came with friends to see a movie. Overall a very fun experience. Great movie selection. Comfortable seats. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Popcorn was fresh and delicious as always. The decor of the main hall is a bit dated, and is not as clean as I would prefer. However, the theater itself is clean and well laid out. My only complaint is that the washrooms need to be bigger to handle the crowd, as there always seems to be a lineup. Would come again in the future.

Went an hour early as we were in line to get tickets which cost 27 dollars each and popcorn and a drink for another 15 dollars ×2 that's when the told us they were sold out and the parking lot was empty! Dont waste your time next time I'll stick to my local theater which still has ten dollar ticket prices and manage to turn a profit

The most screens of any Edmonton cinema complex. Because of this, this Cineplex sometimes has shows which are no longer available elsewhere. Good to know if you want to catch something on the big screen that you couldn't get to earlier. This has happened to me before. Washrooms are clean and the theatre overall appears to be well maintained.

Went Sunday afternoon to a matinee of : "Yesterday", a movie about the songs of The Beatles, who started the British Pop Bands' Invasion of N. America in the mid 1960s along with the Rolling Stones, the Dave Clark 5, Herman's Hermits to mention a few. Right from the beginning there's a twist in the plot which begs the question: "What if .....?" Arrive early to get best seating; not sure if you can reserve seats like at Landmark. Staff were polite and helpful. The concessions line moved quickly. "Lots" of parking available without having to walk too far. ????

The reclining seats do not recline at the back. They are more like extending seats for the legs. Not as comfortable experience as most of the other Cineplex locations with recliner seats. I went to watch Shang Chi in Auditorium#10 and the picture quality was terrible. It was way too dark. Seems like the equipment needs an upgrade. The auditorium was clean and well-staffed with lots of parking. Just the movie experience did not match the service standards.

From walking in my children and I were greeted with enthusiasm. There was no line up, we reserved and bought tickets online. We only waited a couple minutes to get snacks. We were happy to see a new VR arcade sadly you have to be at least 9 years old otherwise your child might not be able to use it. We watched in the new AVX theater with new leather spacious seating. The sound was a little to loud for us but great. We enjoyed some games after. Im not not happy about prices for popcorn, drink, and snack... $18.67 ... really? I'm glad I snuck in a purse full of snacks for my kids at I.

There were only two theatres showing the anime movie: Belle Decided to travel across the city to watch the movie in SE Edmonton. The staff were friendly and efficient, even reminding me to scan my SCENE extras card for 20% off concessions. Theatres were clean and the chairs… super comfortable recliners! I wish every movie theatre had this kind of seating lol. I think I have a new favourite movie theatre. Thanks guys!

We dropped in tonight to get some movie theatre popcorn for our movie night, and spent $20. However, the popcorn was incredibly stale, and the gentleman who applied the butter only did so in the middle. The middle was soggy and slimy, and the outside was dry and stale. Not pleased with our purchase at all. Not the ciniplex popcorn quality. We will revert to making our own at home. However the manager gave a very courteous and warm greeting at the front door, so that's where the two stars come from. Props to him. Otherwise I would have given 0 stars.

This is worth checking out and I can say this about all Cineplex cinemas, actually. If you definitely check it out and you should, ensure you try the 3D screen and AVFX for a full cinematic feel. Enjoy!

I went back to theatre almost after a year and a half since the CoVid hit, expecting to get a great experience. Turns out it was the most horrible experience ever. I went to see Antim (Hindi Movie) on December 1, 2021 at 10.30PM show. So here is all that happened which is no less than a nightmare. First they started the movie midway, which I figured out 7 minutes later, I immediately went out to ask someone as what is going on. They said they clicked a link mid way so they'll fix it. 10 minutes later the movie starts again, it goes well for one hour and then it again stops. I went out to see if anyone was there, to my horror the whole theatre lobby was empty and there was no soul. I kept looking for 15-20 minutes and found someone, he said he is gonna fix something and disappeared. 15 minutes later I knocked on the door and he came out and said he is still fixing something. Then there was no word. Another 20 minutes later one lady appeared from somewhere and said we are sorry we can't continue the movie with no logical explanation. She handed over us another pass for the next day and left. I wouln't have written this review but I complained through Cineplex's survey the very next day and waited that there'll be some communication from them but there was nothing and I had to come and write this. Thanks for ruining my cinematic experience.

Great place to redeem scene points. You can redeem for both movies and your snacks like popcorn, drinks etc. Staff could do better in dealing with customers like greeting but overall theatre experience was awesome.

They control the flow very well and if the prices were more affordable I would basically live here because I love cinemas in general that much so maybe there's a bit of biast on that note don't miss a chance to see your favorite movies here when they release . I have been to this theatre multiple times. Great place every time. Food is great, service is excellent, and atmosphere is amazing. I can't think of a problem that has happened here. Also the bathrooms were really well maintained. Theatres were clean every time.

This location is really big with many front end staff, self-serve ticket checkout, fast food outlet, and even have a mini arcade. The theaters also have a lot of seat so can occupy many customers in one movie showing. Their staff are also friendly. Just a heads up though, the prices for their food is quite expensive (guess that's expected for all cinemas in North America)

I usually go here to watch movies with my friends and family, but lately the cinema has been losing its quality. My friends and I went to watch Spiderman: No Way Home, and we booked our seats weeks ahead of time. So when we got there, we were told our original theatre is now moved to another one, and we assumed it would be the same seating, however, there were already a couple people in our seats, and they told us it was theirs. When we went to go talk to the manager, she didn't explain anything to us, she only automatically said that she would relocate us. We originally had great seats, and then suddenly we got moved to two rows in front of the screen, at the very end, where we could only really see the corner. We asked an employee what was happening, and the original theatre's projector wasn't working, so Cineplex decided to combine two theatre's into one. We were also told that basically half the theatre had to be moved around because of this. Everyone was scrambling around, the whole theatre was filled, and there was no more social distancing between people. It was very frustrating to know that due to a lack of proper management, and the inability to account for any problems that could arise in a sold out movie, my friends and I weren't able to enjoy a night out. It was an amazing movie, but the experience was horrible.

The venue itself is good - well organized entry, clean, well appointed snack area. Helpful staff. However, we sat in the back row and had trouble finding seats that weren't broken - not very comfortable, especially since the movie was over 2 hours long!

Great new seats, handling the Covid restrictions well. Just saw the New Venom movie which was great. The only problem was the sound was crazy loud…ears are ringing. I am not the sort that complains easy. I tried to call but the number doesn’t work. Otherwise it was great

It's a nice theatre no doubt about that. Staff was kinda rude until we got to the concession, then they were awesome, we were in theatre nine and my biggest problem was the speaker that was making static for 99.8 percent of the movie. All through the previews it was fine, as soon as the Eternals started playing it was pure static. Not really what you want when you have to spend 30 before you even get snacks.

Caught a showing of Dune at this theatre on Saturday and was super unimpressed. When we arrived, the theatre was *digusting*. It had definitely not been cleaned prior to our showing, there was spilled pop in the aisles that made my shoes sticky and our seats, while comfy, were covered in popcorn and wrappers from the prior showing. I know it's my fault for buying tickets to a 3D movie but the screening was just dismal. The parts of the movie I could see were great but everything else felt like I was watching on a laptop on the lowest brightness. Not sure if the projector bulb is going or what was happening there but it was definitely not worth the price of admission. Ahead of the show, I had an issue with ticketing that management was very helpful in sorting out but unfortunately the phone number attached to this theatre on Google doesn't connect to the theatre??? It's just an automated voice that, when you select the option to speak to the box office, tells you to hang up and gives you a phone number to call. That's incredibly not user-friendly. Even if you succeed in remembering the number, no one picks up. I left a message and no one ever got back to me so I had to drive 30 minutes to the theatre to get my issue sorted out. Again, once I got there, management was very helpful (hence the 2nd star) but I'm still very disappointed in my experience. Probably won't return to this theatre.

Since the pandemic, they started shining bright flood lights about 60 seconds after the movie ends just to get everyone out - all in an attempt to cram as many movies together as they can just to milk as much profits as possible. Something tells me everytime this happens, some people are going to deliberate dump their popcorn on the floor in protest.

We watched Quiet Place 2 last June 30, 2021. We had a heat warning that time and the AC inside the theater was not working at all. I think because we were only 4 groups watching that's why they tried to do cost cutting.

The recent (I think, it has been a while since I last went to see a film) changes that this theater made to its seating arrangements greatly improved my viewing experience. I was comfortable, which ensured I was able to thoroughly enjoy the film which I was watching. Knowing that these renovations have occurred, I will more actively pursue watching movies at this location.

Usually come to this theatre for movies and anything interesting. Seating is nice and clean with recline. Staff is usually friendly. Had some rude service for the first time by a male clerk who seemed to not want to be there, other than that it was okay.

I recently ordered a movie package through Uber Eats - I’d waited a long time to set this all up in my new home studio to do a shoot and review for the experience to share on my social media - movie night at home for 2 - it took almost 2 hours to arrive and the popcorn sadly was quite stale and the pop was warm, no ice, and flat and had leaked all over the bag and the ticket I wanted to use to describe this neat experience to share with others - was all wet Also, I wanted to add - it doesn’t explain to you on line that the movie your ordering is just movies mainly all on Netflix - not anything recent or new comes with it - also, while waiting for it to arrive it took so long to get set up on line and to try and just find something to watch - I actually called the location while waiting - you can’t set it up till you have the Ciniplex ticket and I left 2 voicemails asking for assistance and no response - I recorded some of that process in a video of how not user friendly it was and how disappointing and how long it all took approx 30 minutes - before I sat down and ate and watched a movie I’ve seen previously, I couldn’t find anything better that day For the cost of this movie experience 50$ dollars I must be honest and say it was not something I’d likely do again - I made the best of it and only took iPhone pics - didn’t bother with my camera and lighting or sharing on social media ???? I’m sorry for my negative review today, I loathe giving them - I hope my feedback helps in any way to make this movie experience any better for others

Went in yesterday at 3:30 AM and was shocked to find no one there. The lights had also been turned off but I was quick to realize the staff must have assumed it was my birthday and were throwing a surprise party for me! They were really serious about the surprise though and wouldn't come out when I called to them. I went in to theatre 5 anyway and watched a short film. It was an interesting take on a movie. I've never seen someone use darkness and silence in such an artistic way. Very entertaining, and it was all free!

I came to this location 2 days ago with the family. I was greeted and given excellent service from the Manager Mustafa. He made thoughtful recommendations and also reassured us of all the safety measures in place were being upheld. Great service and a great time!

LOVE coming to South Common with our kids to take in a movie. The clubhouse is well worth the drive. It opens 30 minutes prior to the movie, and the kids love running around and climbing through the play area. Only 3 stars, because their current cleaning procedures are absolutely atrocious. “Enhanced cleaning protocols” my foot. ???? We are literally the only 4 people in the WHOLE theatre, and the pictures show the current state of the room. Covid or not, this is embarrassing for the price you pay for movies nowadays. Garbage and popcorn strewn across the seats and floor throughout. Buttered fingerprints on your armchairs. Come on now.

This Ciniplex is in South Common on Parsons Road.There is free and ample parking space. The staff are good and helpful . The Ultra AVX theater was very good. It was very spacious the seats were broad and leg space was plenty. The theater itself was bigger. It's clean and well maintained. Visited this theater a number of times .

**Update: Clubhouse gives my family a reason to go to the movies again!the kids can run off their energy for 45 minutes prior to the movie, the seats don't eat up the children, lots of legroom, lower volume, seat selection and only other families really there. Mostly everything that stopped us has been circumvented. Fingers crossed they don't play too many (or any) 3d showings... Please!** The movies watched in a theatre are always hit and miss but not because of the theatres themselves. It's usually a smelly guy, constant texter or someone with a pitchy shrill laugh that annoy me. The facilities here are fine, the teenage employees pleasantly awkward and cleanliness acceptable. Enjoy your movie!

They have those comfy reclining chairs now!! Went to see that videogame movie, it was ok. The Cineplex amenities made the experience better than the movie for sure. I feel bad for the staff, though, they all looked like they wanted to be somewhere else and were really short with customers ahead of our group, in my opinion.

Theatre looks to have been renovated during pandemic. Big leather seats, with automatic recliner button. AMAZING! You select your seats and noone sits on either side. Only thing is that only 1 scene card is accepted per purchase. So if you buy multiple tickets you'll only get points for one. If you want to scan each card to get points you can't sit together as there needs to be a sit free in between.
