Here you have the feddbacks of real people who buy the services and products of Cineplex Odeon Crowfoot Crossing Cinemas (Movie Theater) near to the area of Alberta (Canada).
At the moment this business has a score of 4.1 stars over 5 and the score has been based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average of ratings that it reaches is really high, and it's founded on a very high number of scores, so we can conclude that the score is very credible. If people have bothered to value when they've done well, it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to write feddbacks when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Movie Theater corresponds to the category of Movie theater.
Theatre 4 and 5 are absolutely amazing for when my quadriplegic friend wants to go to the movies with me. Gracefully positioned and easily accessible and respectful
Service here is very nice. Most employees are very nice. Some have a negative attitude. Popcorn is good. Free butter but is self serve. The seats can sometimes be very uncomfortable and hard. Seats are definitely worn. Should be replaced soon. Overall a good cinema. Landmark is better.
The place is good. Although seats are not extra comfortable but still not bad for a two hour sitting. Staff was good and quick.
A nice movie theatre. They've added new arcade games and reclining chairs, which is nice. Movie ticket prices are normal. Concession is overpriced, as usual.
I dont know when this changed, but the 30 minutes of car commercials proceeding the movie are unwelcome. Literally. 30. minutes. We're paying $20 for tix and snacks apiece. Cineplex needs to saturate us with this quantity of advertising? Previews used to be fun.
I recommend arriving early to secure parking. It's a decent theatre, nothing particularly good or bad about it.
Love the new recliners and have fun in the timeplay but dislike that the prize points have decreased and not as many chances to win stuff. Seems like they are trying to get rid of the fun before the movie. Preferred the 10% off on treats.
Clean and beautiful theater, we have some problems with the fire alarm system and they give us tickets for free. The management team and the employees are attencious and very polite
Reclining seats are comfortable, and the theater is quite clean and has been every time I've been.
It was good. Had good service from staff
Recliner seats are much better than the old ones. Popcorn is usually pretty tasty and I like that there's mostly automated ticket buying. However the prices of food and admission are both annoyingly high, which is the same for all theatres, but it'd be nice to not break the bank for a treat.
Wonderful atmosphere. Very, very comfy
Standard theater. Older floor plan therefore not stadium style seating. They have the older slant in the floor. Upgraded seats have been installed recently and are comfortable. It's decent.
Very good movie experience
Recliner seats elevate this Cineplex over others. I would drive out of my way to watch a movie here because it's way more comfortable than other places.
Took my daughter to see the Paw Patrol movie. Staff were very friendly, facilities were clean and chairs were super comfy
First time on a d box and it was great! Admission was hassle-free using the app. Pulled pork hot dog was super good. 5/5
After a much needed renovation it is very nice. Stopped going for long time as it was tired. Will be returning.
Good enough but definitely needs an upgrade. Seats are pretty uncomfortable. But I think they might know cuz I think they have the cheapest Cineplex tickets in Calgary Edit: they've since gotten much better chairs in half their theatres and moved the ticket check so you don't have to get checked everytime you want to get food or need to use washroom. Much better then it was.
Has nice comfy recliner seats. Perfect for any movie experience.
Food was inexpensive and good. A lot of good choices! But the theater screen was dirty and the movie like had glitches and kept stopping. BUT I love that they had recliner seats and it wasn't more expensive for it!
Although this place is quite far from my house, it is always my #1 to-go movie theater. I love their chair that can adjust in to a laying chair. It gives lots of comfort.
This is my default theatre. It's newly renovated so it's a super comfortable movie going experience! Also all the staff that work there are friendly!!
Recliner seating a bonus, prices were actually pretty cheap for a Saturday. Not sure if that's common for this area since I was visiting Calgary this past weekend, but that was nice. However, food and drinks were expensive.
Older theatre due for reno's. Plays foreign films regularly and not super crowded. Nice for a low key night out.
Luxury seats! Full leather recliner for everyone! Enormous leg room !
Out of the last 3 films I have seen here there have been various technical issues. 3D not in 3D Audio out of sync Projector failure and show cancellation This theater is crippled by issues. I will not be returning until it has an overhaul done.
I loved they have more than nachos and popcorn, the hot dogs are really good, the coffee wasn’t so good though but at least they have the option, the new seats are comfy and they have a room for parties now
It's a great place if you like watching movies in theaters. Hot Asian girl working the till
The seats were really comfortable but, the drinks are sadly not refillable.
This is a cool movie theater. Lots of free parking spaces available. A nice place for evening relaxation.
Very quick service (typically) but the large frozen yogurt portion is quite small
New reclining chairs are pretty great! I wish they would recline the tiniest but more though. Sunridge Cineplex still has the most comfy chairs.
Door was locked no one talked to us and they allowed someone with a disability take flak for them not doing their job. And then acted like we were being rude.
Tuesday half prices for a great movie with full recliner seating? Sign me up! Great food options, convenient location close to the C-train and many offers to attract customers.
Was f9 was a great movie
Fantastic theater the staff were awesome and love the full recliners for watching the movie
Tuesday is the best day to see movies here. New seats in theatre, comfy, but little high cost of combos. Good idea to buy the items you want, unless you want combos.
Had a good time there , ended up getting high score on the basketball game 240 woohoo . Clean , seats are great upgrade from the past nice and roomy ,comfortable. Prices for tickets are fair , food is slightly over priced but it's part of the ordeal i suppose . Good luck with your cinematic adventure !
Glad to see the movie experience is evolving into a more comfortable environment. The New recliners make watching movies as if you were at home. Great thing to is the Wheel chair accessibility, which isn’t at the bottom like most theatres. So you aren’t sitting to close to the screen.
Saw The Mule with Clint Eastwood good flick. Excellent recliners, the only way to watch a movie on date night. Lobby was too busy to get anything quickly before the movie though.
Real comfy recliner seats. Love the popcorn too✌
Pretty good spot I always have fun there with the Mrs
New recliners in the AVX theatres are so comfortable. Clean. Front area and concession still sucks.
We love the super comfy, reclining chairs. We collect enough Scene points that we can enjoy a free movie basically monthly, so we even splurge on the overpriced popcorn and snacks occasionally. Honestly, it's only got 5 stars because of the comfy chairs. Other than that it's just your basic Cineplex theatre.
Really bad service. Tickets are incredibly expensive compared to anywhere else, especially Landmark Cinemas. Also the popcorn and other concessions are overpriced and unlike other theatres, there are no free refills.
Very good theatre now. This theater used to be terrible but now that they've updated most of their seats to reclining seats, the experience is not that bad. If you are looking to watch a movie on recliner seats with a larger screen though, I would recommend going to the Cineplex theatre in Sunridge.
Nice recliner seats. Good movies. Nice workers.
We drove across the city to go see a movie here. When we got here the doors where closed and the staff were inside just staring at us. We didn't know what was going on. We knocked and they wouldn't talk to us. We called but the phone said they were closed. They would give us no proper communication and we were confused and frustrated. I would review the other parts of the theatre but it would be tainted from such a bad experience. Horrible staff, especially the managers for allowing this to happen. Will not be coming back. The only person that was trying to actually helps us was special needs which was another huge problem with the staff and management.
Had a good experience when I went to watch Captain Marvel movie. Recliner seats are good but screen size is not that big. Overall number if screens are fewer than common cineplex cinemas. It is located in a big strip mall hence is surrounded by a few restaurants and retail stores. In house food options are expensive as usual in all other cinemas. Easy to find parking as it is surrounded by a lot of stores and restaurants.
Great
This place is TIRED and needs a lot of love. Went with the family to watch a flick (in Cinema 5) this afternoon. The seats don't recline, they feel like wood park benches with fabric coating. 1/2 hour in, my butt's numb. My daughter spent 5 minutes questioning why the screen was so freaking small! The fidelity was nothing shy of brutal. I'm sure those speakers from 1985 sounded great 3 decades ago, but it's pretty pathetic for today (especially considering ticket and concession prices!) BTW, you have no front left speaker working in that Cinema. Not sure if that was actually a bad thing considering how harsh the sound quality was.
I took my grandchildren and their friends here. The lobby was very hot. We finally went into watch the movie. The air conditioning was on in the theatre. The movie stopped with a black screen for about 10 minutes. We finally got someone to fix it. I complained after the movie and the manager gave us free passes. The lobby was still hot. Points for the free passes, but negative for skimping on A/C in the entrance.
Needs a renovation. The seats aren’t very comfortable. Nice staff and well up kept but could use a little refresh especially the seats.
Friendly staff, great screen and sound. Very comfortable reclining seats.
DBox experience was dope.
Wow... it was quite the movie experience
Nice actual theatre, but no place to wait before hand and the arcade is very loud
The best! Power recliner seats that are well spaced with good Covid cleaning procedures for between movies. I will definitely return.
I like that this place has free parking. But the touch screen computers used for tickets are always really slow. Staff seem miserable and never crack a smile. Like all cinemas, the food is overpriced here. The new recliner sofas are great. I usually go on a Tuesday when the tickers area cheaper
Love this theatre! Even though it's an older Cineplex, the chairs have all been upgraded to large electric reclining lazy boys:) They have left ample space between rows so it's easy to get to your seat without making anyone move.
For the 4th time, we arrive early and can not properly play Timeplay. Twice no sound, twice no picture. Today no picture. Asked a staff member who said the picture is on. Nope. Nothing but sound. He was fairly rude as well. Love the new big seats but dislike the lobby full of games.
I went to see 21 Jump Street here. It was clean and air conditioned. The popcorn was light & fluffy. Two thumbs up!
Very accessible by Crowchild tr, Jonh Laurie Blvd and stoney trail as well. Kind employees, confy seats, etc. Not the biggest theaters in Calgary but really good services and more kids friendly.
Went to Ferdinand with my daughter. We both really enjoyed the movie. When we got popcorn the kid running the till moved like molasses. It's a great place for employing high school students but there must be a way to train and motivate them to give a slightly higher standard of service.
Saw a great movie, The Secret Life of Pets 2. Loved it even more than the first one!
First time back in a cinema since 2019. Was such a great experience, forgot how much I missed it! Health and safety protocols for covid were abided to by all. The seating was well spaced out from other patrons, and everything was very super clean.
Seats are super uncomfortable, theatres are always dirty, drinks cost to refill and yet it all costs pretty much the same as their competitors. If it wasn't for the staff being always good I would give one star. Go to landmark instead, it's only a 15 mi extra drive and you get free refills, reclining seats and it's always clean.
Great experience with big enough size of seat!!! We really enjoyed thd movie.
Nice theatre. Great reclining seats. Very clean.
Excellent Covid protocols.
Going to the movies is always nice. But it costs so much it's hard to afford the popcorn and drinks. They are way overpriced. But it was a fun planned night out. Great way to celebrate a Birthday.
I prefer the Landmark cinemas more than Cineplex. Landmark has better seats, better popcorn, and more money-saving deals.
Older cinema and renovations are due. Great selection of movies and very reasonable prices. Usually has a great selection of movies released in the last 2-3 months. Mini arcade. Parking can be somewhat difficult on busy nights.
Seats, whether recliners or regular seats, we're very clean! Good audio. Pricey food as always
Newly renovated. Amazing seats, and so clean!
I am not complaining about this theater in particular, but about this entire franchise. My family and I wanted to watch Onward and we came to buy tickets. Online (Google) gave us the show times and said there was a standard showing at 4:10pm. We show up and there is no standard showing at 4:10 but the UltraAVX showing. My Mom wanted to use her coupon for this and they would not let her without charging her the extra 2 or 3 dollars. This is most definitely not the first time that this has happened either. It sucks because I love coming to the movies but everything at Cineplex is now getting too expensive and it's not worth my time or money. I feel that from now on I will be going to the Landmark cinemas since I have had much better experiences there.
Been a long time since I'd been to the Crowfoot Cineplex, it was my main theatre throughout most of my life but I've since moved away. It's been slightly remodelled and rearranged and looks good. The theaters have been upgraded with reclining seats which are big and comfy and there's plenty of space between rows. I saw Spider-man: No Way Home in their main AVX theater and though it was fine, their projector felt very dark, with vignetting, blur and chromatic abberation around the edges. I believe that means it isn't a laser projector, or if it is it isn't a very good one or we'll calibrated compared to other theaters. Still, not terrible by any means but not great.
Fully reclining seats, very comfortable. Not usually as crowded as other theaters
Completely outclassed by Landmark, If you can make the extra distance, go there, I highly doubt you will be dissappointed. I have come here regularly since it opened. It is a fairly nice theater, and after Scotiabank bought them out, things improved a bit. But now, concessions are almost $30... which is completely unjustifiable for popcorn and fountain drinks (if it were, Subway would be much more expensive). Also, the reserved seating and redesign of the ticket machine location has made buying tickets a significant inconvenience. There are too few machines, and they lack sufficient functionality to perform certain common tasks. The staff are usually nice though.
Great cinema to spend time with friends.
The greatest best Oscar movie the best actress Rachel Ziegler and the best picture year beautiful Screamplay of all time enjoy your movie
Loved the new reclining seats!!! I watched The Nun in Cinema 12 tonight and it was awesome! The popcorn was nice soaked with the extra free butter. The cinema was very clean. ????????
Food was fresh and hot. Not busy at all
Pre book seats, roomy and reclining seat to enjoy the movies. Great times
The new seats are wonderful. Big and comfortable! Snack line took longer than expected and staff were more quiet and reserved. Not always welcoming.
Best theater in Calgary. Always clean and very friendly and helpful staff. Will keep coming back!!!
Pretty neat arcade for the kids
Great experience from start to finish. We did have to wait in a line outside for about 5-10mins. But otherwise, great location with lots of parking. Arcade for all to enjoy and super comfy, reclining seats to watch your movie.
In the NW along the Crowchild corridor you currently don't have any choice for a nearby movie theater. If you want something close you're going to Crowfoot. While they have done some Reno's to add stadium style recliner seats this location, I still find the seating better at Landmark Cinemas off Country Hills. The parking at Crowfoot can be a real challenge at times. If your schedule allows take the extra time and head to Landmark and enjoy the large lobby, free style pop machine and better seating. When the new theater at Market Mall opens up it could cause a big drop in the crowds at the Crowfoot location which could make the parking easier. However, with the brutal parking at Market Mall that probably won't happen.
The renovations made this a much better theatre, and the leather recliners are a key addition to it. Unlike other cinemas there is no point to showing up early, because the screens are not on. They have pre-reserved seating, and work with the Atom app.
Nice and cozy local theatre. Not quite as comfy as Landmark, but a great place to watch movies nonetheless.
The fire alarm went off twice during our move, the second time right at the story's climax. Ear splitting sound, everyone trying to get out the fire doors and then it turns off like there isn't anything wrong. No staff or anyone to say what's going on then the movie starts up again and a bunch of people are trying to get back in. And then it went off again right before the ending...
Loved the seating. Really good theatre.
A great experience. Went to go see Captain Marvel in regular 2D not expecting anything but basic seats and we got FULLY RECLINING SEATS in theatre 1! Game changer!! So comfy and you control your incline. No more having someone behind you putting up their feet by your head. Large aisle space also. And good visibility from the screen. Also all automated machines at front for purchasing tickets. Smart. Understandable move going to automated when we have a high minimum wage. Will return and I hope to end up in Theatre 1!
Great quality recliner seats, nice and bright screen, quick service and clean bathrooms overall wonderfully experience.
The staff has always been friendly and helpful. Lots of changes going on in the inside, with the arcade moving to the middle, and all the new seats being put in. The recliners are really nice and make the price a little more bearable. Only reason it is 4 star is because the company itself. The prices are far too expensive and the SCENE games before the movie are now spread out and worth far less Scene points.
Nice and spacious seating. The volume of the movie was a little bit loud for my comfort
I love there seat, the way you can control your position. and everything else Looks so Awesome.
New reclining seats and pre-booked seating makes the movie experience here much better. Concession is quick... unless you're getting something from 'outtakes', at which point you should find a cozy spot to wait a while.
Fast service, friendly staff, clean rooms. Good spot to hang with friends
The new recliners are great. First time I've been comfortable at a theater. As always, the food prices are ridiculous.
Coming from a small town that only has a one room theatre. This is actually pretty good. I've been to way better and I come from the bottom of the barrel. However I would have to say that your prices on food is over priced but if people keep buying it why would they change it.
Old World Health changed the name. Hopefully they don't change the service
They've updated all their seating to recliner seating, the regular theatres that I've went to at least (most of them). Went to the AVX theater yesterday and the seats were so comfy!! They are even better than the seats in the regular theatres. Reclined all the way back with great head support. Aisle B (the second one above the break) was the perfect height, looking straight to the middle of the screen. Also there are many ticket machines for card purchases, with a person at a close register for cash purchases and questions. Don't usually wait at all.
Get thru the doors quickly with pre-purchased digital tickets. Redeem or earn Scene points on tickets & concession make Scene membership worthwhile. Comfy recliners are in some of the theatres, which make going out to the movies much more enjoyable with all the leg room. Lots of parking as well as a few handicap stalls.
The recliner seats are well worth the price! Just a shame they charge you for all seasonings now, what happened to getting the first one free? You can't tell me that the price of your popcorn wouldn't cover the cost of a 50 cent seasoning packet.
This Cineplex is a fairly nice facility with friendly staff. I've been going here for a while and I'm super glad they finally decided to put in more comfortable chairs. Concession is expensive but that's as expensive since it's the only way a movie theater makes any money
Very clean, comfortable seating
There is construction going on in the foyer but it doesn't interrupt the business. Recliners are great!
This theatre shows all the new movies, however the theatre is quite old and desperately needs a renovation with larger screens and better seats. Not worth the price since landmark is not that far away.
Good prices
The theatre upgrades are great. There are recliners which makes them on the same level as Landmark. The chairs are just as comfy as the ones from landmark. Although, there are only single seats not double like in landmark theatres, so the arm rests don't move. But that doesn't really bother me, I I prefer having the arm rests down. I also like that the ticket check is before you line up for snacks and not at the theatre entryway.
Good experience. Ticketing, entrance, and concession were all quick and easy. The reserved, reclining seats were great. There is construction happening at the moment and some pungent smells make walking in the hallway unpleasant.
Saw 1917 the other day. Reclining seats and the cleanliness of theatres makes it a great experience.
Sure the food is a little expensive but that's like all movie theatres. But i have never had a bad experience here. And i visit several times a year. The auditoriums are always spotless as is the bathroom. The seats are decent and give me lots of leg room (I'm 6ft tall)
Seats were great, but under Renovations and the alarm was set off by the construction in the middle of the movie
Have made some good improvements to modernize. Works for me since it's so close to where I live
Good if you just want to go to a movie and not deal with anyone. Seats aren't the best. Combos are always suggested but would like to have some more variety in offers.
Good movie theater with comfy chairs, wish the screen was a bit sharper
Love the new updated theaters. Hadn't been since they added recliner seats and wider aisles. So comfy.
Old school theater but with fancy seats and video arcade, reminded me of going to the movies when I was a kid. Fun to bring the next generation. Lady working the front booth was very nice to us.
Saw Frozen 2! Highly recommend! All new songs from original cast
Recliner seats are not good. The back doesn't recliner, the size of seat is small. If you want to enjoy recliner seats, go to landmark cinemas at country hills. Cineplex crowfoot is standalone movie theatre, so nothing much to do before or after the movie.
One of the best movie theater I have ever been in. Super comfy. My friend fell asleep during the movie.
Love the recliner seats! Nice and wide. Great space between people :)
Good and busy. Recline seems less than others
Covid policy were implemented properly.
This is one of the best theaters in town. Good service, clean, great facilities. I just make sure foods like hotdogs are actually fresh - twice it was not. Overall, a good place to come with family and friends.
For covid times I am surprised that there was no division on seats. They made the theater room full. But the seats are comfortable
This place is amazing! The updates are incredible! Sweet party room as well.
They recently updated the theatre to include electric recliners in what I assume is all of their theatre rooms. I do not like the new layout of the from. Being bombarded with the flashing lights from the arcade games is too much for me.
Saw Hobbs and Shaw in AVX theater #4. Sound was great. Seats were great. Seems to be standard Cineplex experience at all theatres now.
Loved the chairs, very comfortable. Full recliner.
Nicest theater in the NW!! VERY CLEAN friendly staff! Always get my fave seat too ;)
Nice place
It was good there, but for the love of god lower the food prices! The popcorn is like a million dollars!! Other than that, the seats wear comfy. Oh and what's with that weird taste in the popcorn? Sheesh!
change the seats! because of cineplex's seats, I tend to prefer landmarks
Absolutely amazing. Highly recommended!
Good theater, renovations to the seats are great. Stars and strollers is great for young families as well as their family movie deal is enjoyable as well.
This place needs to upgrade as the chairs are uncomfortable and the movie theatre sound system is outdated. I only watched one movie here but I won’t go back until they upgrade their chairs and sound system. My advice, drive the extra 10 minutes to a better theatre, as your back will thank you.
Now that they have the leather reclining seats it's a very pleasant place to watch a movie. Only wish they had the 'freestyle' drink dispensing machines like Landmark Cinemas. Oh well, I'll get over it. Lots of parking and several places to eat before or after the show. Have fun ????
I had a good experience watching movie in this cinema. I got BOGO ticket and a good deal. The seat is great which is a recliner seat. Overall, I like to go to this cinema.
Great place to hangout with friends, hope they open the bowling section again.
This place shows movies. Sometimes the movies are good and sometimes they aren't. That isn't their fault though. The popcorn is always good, butter costs extra.
great place to watch a movie! always clean too which is awesome
Comfort personified. I've never been to a movie theater that offered recliner chairs with lots of legroom. Makes the price of admission excellent!
A good, if aging Cineplex location. Screens are large, seats comfortable (but not recliners like Landmark!). Recently revised ticketing self-serve kiosks work well, but are not obvious when you walk in. Popcorn varies from visit to visit - depends on who made it or how long it sat there, I guess. Still a good theatre, but is showing it's age next a bit.
Recliner seats in all the showings I viewed. Employees were still masked and recommending distancing. Very quiet right now, we had at most 10 people in the theater for the 3rd weekend of black widow. You can check the seating chart if you want to see how crowded it will be. Lobby was nearly empty.
A decent theatre, but not comparable to a place like xcape or Scotiabank theatre
I like it! It's very, very nice there. The atmosphere is great, and the theaters are have good, comfy reclining seats. The concessions are a bit expensive, but it's worth it.
Great theater, great sound and reclining seats. Only annoyance is the guy that talked through the whole movie.
I Really Enjoy Going Here where it near my House And Worth Check out the Theatre!
A recent renovation makes this place hip and up to date again. Big screens, big speakers make for big fun.
Pretty good theater and nice seats but no slushy machine :(????
Glad to be back here. I eat before I go so I don't have to waste money on garbage.
This place is overdue for an upgrade. The seats are getting so worn and uncomfortable. Staff is friendly - I really appreciate that this location hires special needs staff. Bathrooms are usually clean. They offer weekend movies appropriate for small children (lowered volume and dim lighting). My kids always want to stop at the arcade after a movie and it seems like at least one game is always broken out of the ~10 they have.
Smaller theater but shows all the newest movies. You might get a larger screen or be in one of the smaller end ones. Still not a bad place to catch a movie.
A large selection of movies and showtimes, lots of parking, and good good options. The theatre itself is not very well kept and quite messy. The chairs are pretty old, but not overly problematic. This is a good cinema to go to if you are going to a movie on a whim, but there are lots of better options in Calgary.
There was popcorn on the floor at some spots but has recliner seats and a nice arcade
Much better since they renovated all the theatres. Comfy reclined seats for everyone, pretty much just your average theater besides that
I'll start with the good, the seats are comfy recliners , but middle armrest doesn't move unlike landmarks, not a huge deal. Theater has seemed to have a recent renovation, looks good. But the bad, trying to read the menus, this is something that most digital menus suffee from, the screen changes every 3 seconds to an advertisement, then back to a different page of items. You have to watch it so intently , also it's the smallest font. The food prices were outrageous, I know theatres are expensive but $7 for a large pop that seemed smaller than they used to be and NO refills, I don't think it was covid rules either, the staff refilled my cup with water. Didnt ask for a popcorn refill but wouldnt get my hopes up.
Well organized to deal with COVID procedures.
The ticket prices are pretty standard around the city, and as long as you don't mind waiting a little bit if you're going to buy popcorn... Then this place is overall convenient, and pretty good
It's a nice enough place. Very busy. Reserved seating is actually pretty nice. Could use more than one station for the straws, napkins, popcorn toppings etc. And the staff have the enthusiasm of hostages. Management is friendly though. Not for luxury viewing but a decent basic theatre.
I love the new reclining seats. Tuesday is the best day for deals.
This place just received a very required renovation. It now has some amazing fully reclining seats. The food goes beyond typical theatre food and the things that I've tried is delicious.
Awesome place, best thing about it was reclining seats. Food is a little expensive like it is in any theatre but rest was awesome. Went to watch avengers endgame in 3-d.
I come here often. Tonight I had the best experience. First time here since they put in reclining seats. We were front row and it was pretty good! Excellent customer service at both the ticket purchase and concession.
Very comfortable seats (especially the recliner ones!). Friendly staff, good show times, LOTS of easy and free parking. Located within walking distance of many restaurants and fast food places
Auditorium 2 sound system was not working. Subwoofers and surround speakers were off. We informed a staff member who said they’d look into it… The whole movie was only high and mid range from the front. Is no one doing quality control?
Very nice place ...large inside very clean ..enjoyed the movie, my grandparents came and had no issues with acessibility plenty of parking was available ....washrooms were large and clean and easily accessible for wheelchairs. Good times to be had in the arcade as well....nice sitting area for waiting at as well.
This cinema is where you go in moments of weakness when you just wanna see a movie. My advice: do it if it isn't a movie you've been waiting for for a long time. Otherwise, the superior seating and sound quality of other cinemas makes the experience more enjoyable.
Nice and small compared to other theaters. The recliner chairs are AMAZING. Very clean for being a movie theater.
we love going there. Its our family weekend fun place. Although I would like to see more games for my kids
Pretty good Movie Theater! I loved the popcorn, it was very tasty. Parking here is spacious, lots of spots to choose from. Washrooms were average, but decently maintained. Service was pretty good as well. I look forward to coming back!
Fire alarm went off halfway through the movie. Movie stopped, lights came on and the alarm ringing. People start to leave. Movie starts playing again with the lights on. Not one member of staff came in to notify us that it was a drill. Not even one member of staff acknowledged anything. Poor. Safety is a serious concern.
The theatre is quite small and it's hard to tell which numbers belong to which assigned seats in the auditoriums, but it's in a great location with lots of food options and other services around.
Staff are helpful and friendly. They also have reclining seats.
I was at this location on June 18th at approximately 5:50 pm to see the new Avengers movie. The movie theatre was clean, quiet, and the concession staff was excellent. I just want to take a minute though and say how wonderfully sweet the man was who I purchased the movie tickets from. He was an older man with a walker who was working at the ticket booth and he brightened my entire day with his jokes and good conversation. He was so thorough with explaining the scene points to me and how many points I received with my purchases. I know it’s most likely a minimum wage job, but staff members like that are priceless. He was an absolute gem and I wish I could’ve gotten his name to pass on to higher management. He deserves so much recognition for his amazing customer service skills and quick wit!
The experience was great and the reclining seats were awesome. Wonderful place to go for a night out at the movies
A pretty decent theatre. Clean and as good as any other. The problem is the lack of staff and what they do have is so slow. I was fourth in line for concession and it took 20 minutes. No one had any crazy orders. The guy behind the counter just moved at a glacial pace.
The seating and staff here were great.
Theater seats are very comfy and big. Price for popcorn and drinks are crazy high at all theaters.
Dirty, seats are so far gone like sitting on a board. Management could care less. Floors are dirty with food sticking to your feet. Their excuse? It is an old building! Wow. So Full Price for the right to sit on a broken down foam seat watching a film, with sticky feet. The health department needs to go visit them. Staff are jerks.
Service is good, there's helpful staff around when you need them. The theatre seats are comfy enough and the audio visual experience is fine.
Crowfoot Theater is good but not great. The seat are old and not very comfortable. The good thing is its clean, the screen are good and its not very busy here. I dont like a packed theater. I would recommend Crowfoot cinemas
Very nice theater Shame to be there with only few others in these days.. I will watch Dune again in the place.
Love the new renos. Seats were great
The Crowfoot Cineplex theater is probably one of the older ones that is still stuck in the late 90s or early 2000s. The decor needs to be updated to be on par with the other Cineplex theaters. Otherwise, it's okay to watch a movie, but I would travel elsewhere for a more comfortable decor and better accommodations of a newer theater.
The theatre is a bit "rough around the edges". The seat cushions seem to have worn out long ago, so don't think to plunk down into them to sink into luxurious comfort - instead you'll just thunk down onto the hard chair. I've only seen 2 movies there in 2 different theatres and so far both screens have been small, and the sound seems slightly muffled (or perhaps I'm slightly deaf). There is a lot of leg room, at least if you're sitting at the very back, and I do like that it's close to home for us. Overall, not bad for a theatre that's probably been around a while.
Although this theater is a bit of a drive from my place, it is one I do enjoy going to thanks to the reclining seats. Also, one of the theater employees helped me resolve a seating issue I had made a mistake with when reserving seats. She was very helpful!
Good theater. Staff is usually quite friendly, and the auditoriums and washrooms are clean most of the time. Sometimes the washrooms can be a bit gross on busy days, though. The seats are a bit narrow, but not more so than usual. Good selection of movies.
Bought tickets online for a special showing of Signin' in the Rain. There was plenty of parking and picking up our tickets was very easy. The seats are incredibly comfortable.
Ultra avx was ultra amazing. So cool how the seats move to the movie
Recliner seats, clean and great fresh popcorn!
Like all Cineplex Odeon movie theatres, the food prices are extremely OVER PRICED and the portions are very small for what you get. It's rather sad. I guess Cineplex Odeon knows best where the fine line is with people willing to pay $5 for a regular size pop (called their large now with no free refills) vs. people who will stop paying and bring-in their own food.
nothing wrong here, great theatre, they even sell toys now! Booking tickets and seats is easy. Nice chairs.
Great entertainment place. I will go again for sure
The staff are perfectly delightful, but the theater itself is looking pretty ghastly. Noticable defects on the screen, doors half ripped off the supply cabinet nearly blocking the door of the women's washroom (itself lacking its door). The arcade placed squarely in front of the entry. These are the things that stood out.
The staff friendliness can be improved, but the movie watching environment was fantastic. Lots of leg room with adjustable seats.
It will be good to see movies in 3D again. They cannot hand out glasses because of Covid. .. Waiting with anticipation and antibiotics. .LOL
Love the new full reclining seats. They are incredibly comfortable and spacious. ????
Been going here for the last year! Parking lot is a little crowded most times but the facility overall is good and clean. Food tasty and prices are industry standard for theatres. At least there's scene points for free movies! Recommended!
Got to sit in the reclining seats. Very nice and comfortable. Suddenly wven a three hour movie will not be too long. Bring on the Lord of the Rings sequel!
Just another move theatre lol.
Good theatre, but it isn't as large as some of the newer ones. Still, they do the best with what they have. No digital IMAX.
I mistakenly purchased tickets for a movie showing at a different Cineplex location and only discovered my mistake when I was heading in to the theatre. The manager was wonderful and very polite, traded my tickets for a different movie and saved the day ????
A great fluffy light enjoyable movie, upbeat and happy. It has its own story and music, for me it was a good sequel to the original.
The typical theatre these days staffed by teens, and ever more at Cineplexes even they are being replaced by digital kiosks, but the humans we did find were doing their best and courteous. Parts of the building are undergoing obvious renovations, however the seats are completed and they are amazing. Reclining with loads of room!
Renovations are pretty alright. Theatres are pretty clean and comfortable
Lots of food and drink choices at the prices you can probably imagine (high). Chairs are comfortable. Parking is difficult because of the proximity of all the other restaurants in the area.
I really don't understand why they don't turn on projection while the pre-show audio is playing. Very annoying.
Cineplex Odeon Theatres is a great place for movies, snacks, games, toys and hanging out. Matinee are cheaper as well as Tuesday evenings. Bring lots of money though cuz it ain't cheap! Have fun;)
This theater is amazing now that they have added the comfy reclining seats. It's a lot more quiet than Chinook and Sundridge, and there are still other places to go before or after in the area. The seats leave enough room that I feel comfortable going alone and are nice for dates if two people lean into each other. I would go here for movie over Chinook unless going to see IMAX or DBox, which they do not have here. It's also great now that they are focusing on events and special showings.
Super friendly staff! Took my little guy to see Paw patrol and the staff made him feel like a king
10 years ago a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-Team.
Awesome theatre that recently went through renovation. The large reclining seats are great.
My favorite cinema. Great service, good movie selection and time slots. Good service.
The theatre was empty so my friends and I watched the Sonic movie with no interruptions 10/10 experience.
Remodelling right now but still open. Comfy seats now. Not as wide as landmark or recline as far but nice! Concession expensive as usual but that is not new for any theatre. Thats how they make money. Its not from the ticket sales. Lots of parking, no wait, automated ticket machines. Lots of concession staff.
This Cineplex has now been upgraded with recliner seating to finally compete against the landmarks theater and man the upgrade is awesome! I love the new smell in the renovated auditoriums, it smells kind of like a new car and it's super upscale now. The seats are very comfy. For the people complaining about there being no refills, one drink of pop during the movie is enough. As for the speed of the food, good food takes time to cook and prepare, and the food is actually really good as far as movies food goes. If you don't want cold popcorn then plan ahead when the theater is busy so they're constantly popping fresh popcorn all the time. If you want to go when it's quiet then obviously the popcorn won't always be crazy fresh. Crowfoot Cineplex staff are doing nothing wrong; it's just that some patrons lack common sense.
It's a great place to enjoy a movie! The atmosphere is lively with arcade games literally around the corner. Buying tickets is a breeze via the automated machines, but if you prefer face-to-face, then you've got very competent sellers as well. The movie rooms themselves are well-built, spacious, comfortable, and well insulated. The screen and sound is great too. Food is kind of expensive, but I guess that goes for most threatres.
Staff always friendly and accommodating. Washrooms generally clean as is the building as a whole. Great place for afternoon shows, good popcorn and coke tastes like coke. They will get you a tea from regular line up even tho coffee bar looks empty. They server the Tazo tea Starbucks used to and have the China Green Tips which Safeway does not carry. Parking is easy except busy nights, like Tuesday. Parking / driving area around tho is a little tricky as shopping centre itself is not the best design or wide enough roads.
We arrived at 10:30 for 11 am show. No coffee, food really slow, very poor selection, popcorn away too expensive. Finally got to the theater, just in time. Seats were narrow, hard, no recline, too uncomfortable for a 3 hour show. Sound was much too loud, breaking up in loud spots, definitely poor quality for an opera. We won't go back. The only thing that works is advance tickets and pick up.
Great seats and specials on Tuesdays
One of the worst recliner seats of all theaters where the back doea not reclines. By the end of movie I had a headache ????
Nice movie theatre. Lots of seating with reclining and adjustable options. However the halls and the theatres were not well maintained. Includes an arcade and many food options.
Since the theater updated their seats to leather recliners and fixed the layout of the ticket check, this has become an excellent place to go catch a quick movie.
Today we went to Cineplex at the Calgary Crowfoot Crossing location. We wanted to you and the whole world to know that there was an employee named Ryan SW who provided an outstanding service to us. Thanks to him we had a great night!
A pleasant theatre with efficient staff. The only downside was waiting for people in a lineup for tickets when machines were open for use. The sound and picture quality were good and the recliners were very comfortable.
Love what the new renovations to the theatre here. The recliner seats are about on par to that at Landmark Cinemas. Also on top the staff are kind and helpful. Only issue was my movie cut out pre maturely today, but it's only happened once for me here so it's not a big deal. Do reccomend this place!!!
You cannot beat a movie theater experience. The staff and service is great. The seats are comfortable however the seats make squeeking noise when you raise them up.
Employees were extremely polite and provided great service with everything, one of the best overall theater experiences for movie-goers, would highly recommend.
Nice to see this place upgrade their seats. It was stuck in the 1990s for awhile so now that's its modernized, the experience is better. The seats are more comfortable but there's no enhanced features. No Ultra AVX, Dolby atmos, or D-Box. For die-hard movie goers there are other theatres that offer the more immersive experience.
It has been a while since we have gone to a movie. This is a great theatre. Staff was helpful and friendly. Seats were great and I could even get a beer!
Love the recliners Tuesday night and so empty loved it , super clean !!!! Watched What Men Want , loved it. ????blessed to enjoy such an amazing night. Popcorn was a bit cold .
Probably one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a movie theatre. Great staff and comfortable seating. Almost every theatre is equipped with a STATE-OF-THE-ART recliner seating designed to enhance your movie viewing experience! When I came in, I was a little lost going into the theatres but I asked around and the management team was very willing to help me out! The AVX theatres at this location are also FANTASTIC. Will be coming back!!
Seem very good at following protocals. The prices of inside food seems even higher than before. Considerably higher. Staff were very nice
Would give it a zero if there was an option. So disappointing. Bought tickets online to see the family movie but we got to the movie theater and couldn't find seats. The manager, Rob only offered a refund and didnt apologize until I brought it to his attention about how disappointed i was about this bringing my 6 year old and telling we cant watch. He's so unprofessional, really bad customer service.
Movie was good seats were comfortable $5 for a pop is robbery
Can't believe this theatre has Wolf Warriors II playing only 4 days after the first play in China! I love this Movie theatre already! I am definitely going to cross the city to visit it in a week!
Haven't been here for a couple years but pleasantly surprised to see that they've updated the seats so that they're all recliners with lots of leg room! Also able to pick your seats beforehand. Landmark was destroying them so I'm glad Cineplex has started to catch up and offer better services. 1 star for your app. Complete trash, but that's a different story...
Opening day for IT Chapter Two lol
Awesome cozy theatre!! Very good popcorn! Yes there is a difference between theatres I've noticed! Only problem is the seats are very uncomfortable!!
Comfortable seat and good sound are important.
the best ever cinema in Alberta. cozy comfortable seats..nice staff.. solid color screen
Great experience!
Much cleaner than chinook theater, the recliners are not comfortable it you have back issues like I do. I was unable to sit in the recliners, explained my issues and they gave me tickets to see another move whenever I wanted. Pleased with the cleanliness and customer service
Clean, but surprised no barriers between sets of chairs.
Seats are so comfy and great popcorn! Just a fun experience
Honestly, not a great experience. Me and the wife chose to go here from now on, decided to switch from the Chinook center. The place has wonderful recliner seating, which is great, but overall, the food is extremely slow. Popcorn was cold and stale. My wife ordered a chicken sandwich, was around supper time. It took about 15 minutes, which resulted in us missing a portion of our movie. Also, by the time we got the sandwich, half of our popcorn was munched on, and my pop was empty. Guess what? No refills on pop. +$6 for a fountain drink, no refills. I'd understand if it was no refills on separate visits like any fast food chain, but any place with fountain drinks offers refills to some degree, even for a marginal cost. I was simply turned away from the counter without a second glance. Fountain drink cost under $2 a cup with intermediate costs. Yeah, snacks is where movies make their money, but this irked me honestly. One employee was actually lively and friendly, the others looked like humans replaced by robots. Sorry Crowfoot. Step up your game if you want to keep business. As someone who has worked service for close to 10 years, this was pretty disappointing. Just head to Landmark. They got the same reclining seats, refills and better prices.
I've been going to this theatre for decades, literally! I love the location as there is so much to do before or after your movie (shanks, restaurants, coffee shops etc.). The theater is getting a bit dated though. I think they should invest in some of the newer comfortable chairs like cross iron mills has. They are never crazy crowded like chinook but come early to find parking. As with most cineplex theaters these days, you will end up paying more for a popcorn and pop than you will just to see the movie! The food is grossly overpriced and the quality of the popcorn has gone down in my opinion. You also have to pay for real butter, I'm not even sure what the free liquid stuff is (maybe margarine if your lucky). On the bright side there are other food options in the theatre, you can get a hot dog, chicken and fries, pizza 73, frozen yogurt and even Starbucks. O (Photo courtesy of Brian Skinner)
Quick to get tickets. When booking online, remember to bring the pass with you because the printed ticket doesn't get you the drink/popcorn, great escape pass is required still to get the treats. New seats are needed!! Thank goodness they're upgrading.
This cinema has been greatly improved with the addition of the recliner seating. Everything is very clean, the staff are very pleasant, and it is great to see how much this location has improved.
It was a great experience, we ordered our tickets on lone, the covid check was done quickly and the seating was very comfortable. They observed all covid safety requirements.
The food is way overpriced. You used to be able to get an AMA movie pass with food included for a good price not anymore. They cut it out. Also the place is so ancient it's in need of a facelift. The theatres are quite dirty and the rugs are ancient.
Great little theater. Great staff. Looking forward to the new look.
A bank of ticket selling machines and one human station. The human was a very pleasant gentleman who got us settled quickly. There should be separate lines because we wanted to use the machines but we got stuck behind people who wanted the human service. We were able to bypass the waiting people. Wonderful seating. Reclining comfortable chairs. The theater was clean. DON'T BUY concession products. My only complaint is the ridiculously overpriced pop popcorn option. Two Adult pops (I've seen bigger) two regular sized popcorn and a bag of candy (Option 2) was $31.89. No refills. I wont ever buy their concession products again. There was 10 cents of popcorn, maybe $2.50 for each drink and same for the candy in the real world. $8.00 worth for $32.00. You've lost my concession business. If your plan was to make profit on concessions you've milked that cash cow to death.
Cineplex has really upped it's game in order to keep up with landmark. Most auditoriums are now fitted with comfortable recliners. The theater can. Get a bit busy on the weekends but is usually dead on the weekdays less Tuesday
Great staff and very comfortable theater.
This place is in dire need of an upgrade.
Completly new and soo clean
Clean and great Atmos sound!
Wonderful & helpful staff! Fantastic movies!
Comfortable theater seats, but the movie was a little out of focus and the food prices are way too high.
So lax about restrictions we left without seeing a movie, no social distancing in place at all, won't be back
Came into Calgary from Drumheller to watch Avengers End Game, got our tickets on April 2nd, made sure to ask for Sunday the 28th, planned our weekend around it. Get into town get to the theater and find out after they ripped our tickets and got our snacks ($70.00 later) that our tickets were actually for Saturday. So we went to find a manager and the absolutely only reason they are getting three stars is because the manager, stopped what he was doing (sweeping the floor, he got someone else to take over) so he could help make it right. He found us another showing today so we could still see the movie as planned, upgraded us and also gave us passes for the next time we go for a movie. So to you Mr. Manager thank you!
Strange set up as you have to show tickets before being allowed to go to the concession, over all good though new recliners. Although for someone of my stature (6ft tall) my legs are a little too long and dangle of the leg rest making it a little uncomfortable.
Great reclining seats great sound good treat
Never a bad experience with a great children area and comfy recliners, though wish the arms could be moved up and out of the way.
Comfy seats
This place has free parking. The touch screen computers used for tickets work really slow. Staff is uaully very distant and they don't smile. Food is still overpriced here. The new recliner sofas are great new addition. For better ticket prices go on a tuesday or buy tickets through AMA and Costco.
Enjoy movies and now I love the new system when u purchase ur tickets.
Smaller theatre, was disappointed driving across the city for an out of date theatre. Staff was incredible & would be happy to return once updated. Paying the same price at this theatre for out of date / uncomfortable seats isn’t worth it.
I go to this location quite often as it's really close to my house (5 minute drive). The new recliner seats are really comfortable and spacious. It is an older theater with smaller screens and inferior sound quality compared to the other cineplex locations in Calgary. I would recommend going here for standard movies, however, for blockbuster action packed films such as Avengers or Star Wars, I would recommend going to a newer theater to receive a better audio and picture experience.
Absolutely amazing! The have VERY NICE seats, they have lots of room and recline. Staff was super nice, it's an easy location to find and it was such a good experience. Prices are the same for much as the other Cineplex in Calgary, but you are so much more comfortable while enjoying your show. No more knees on the back of your chair, no more rubbing knees on people trying to get to your seat. So much room! Anyways, highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to see a movie!
Great cinema to visit!
Good theatre. Seats were super comfy! Makes those 2hr+ movies tolerable.
I like going to movies here as it's close to where I live. I find the staff very friendly but I'm SOOOO ANNOYED that their scanner for scanning tickets, purchased online, rarely works. When I asked the ticket agent about the scanner, he told me that they have a lot of trouble with it. I truly wish they would fix it, to avoid everybody waiting in line.
UPDATE ... Live close to this theatre and would usually drive to crossiron mills or chinook mall if I wanted a comfortable seat. I recently come back after hearing they had a renovation and love coming here now! Seating has improved so much! You can choose your seat ahead of time and there is plenty of leg room and recliner chairs for added comfort. Will be coming back here for sure!
They have these insanely soft chairs with elevating footrests. Amazing. Very clean theater, and the pizza was decent.
Really starting to appreciate the steps up this theatre has taken recently--namely, assigned seating and more comfortable reclining seats. Recent visit the screen colour was off, and it took them over half an hour to try to diagnose the issue only to have to move everybody to a different theatre. That said, I appreciated the free upgrade to 3D and the voucher for a free movie given out afterward. One thing I'd love to see improved is the wait times at the till. Most often I'd purchase online or use the automated machines. But if there's a problem with your ticket, want to change movies or upgrade, or simply want to pay cash, expect what can be a pretty significant wait.
Love the staff at the arcade side of things. I cannot remember the gentleman's name but he was not only friendly and patient with us, but he was training a young employee and was being extra nice to them as well! The popcorn was fresh and the seats are so comfy and so wide apart! I dont want this place to overflow so don't come here! tee hee
Look, this place is old. The seats suck, the picture/sound quality isn't too good, and its run down. But I've been coming to this location for over 12 years since I was a kid. I find the place nostalgic. The staff are great, and far better than any of the other bigger locations I've been too. I always enjoy coming here. It's usually slower than the bigger places too which I like.
Expensive food, but comfy and more spacious seats. I'll go again
If I could I would give my experience at this Cineplex 0/5 stars. One of the girls at the concession counter was extremely rude. She acted as if doing her job was a big inconvenience! @the girl working the counter, if it's such a bother for you be taking people's orders then dont! Quit! Go out there find something else that you actually like to do, cause the both you and I dont need to miserable at the movies!
Haven't been to this theater in over a decade but it's definitely a lot nicer than what it was before. Quality is the same compared to the other theaters in the city.
I love this theater with it new recliners it's great. And I would like to say the manger yesterday was wonderful I brought tickets for end game on April 2 for the Sunday and was given Saturday. Did not look like at the tickets besides the time, but he made sure we still got to see the movie that day and was very helpful, I know stuff happens but they way he handled it was great.
Movie was good. Snacks were good. Gf said someone shattered a toilet so that's cool lmao.
Good theater. It does not have the biggest screens but there are many screens which means you can usually get a ticket to the movie you want to see. The popcorn is great. As well there is a lot of parking outside and several restaurants nearby if you want to have a bite before your movie.
During the covid vaccine, it was pretty chill we were only 2 groups there
I don't understand why, WHYYY don't they open more cashier stations to serve snacks at the times prior to movie showtimes??? It makes no sense to wait for 15 minutes when 1 or 2 more service stations are possible. Such am easy fix. C'MON MANAGEMENT ????????
Good place to see a movie since there are plenty of dinner options around. They are also upgrading all their seats so the theaters are becoming much more comfortable than previously. They also have a small arcade section that has your standard arcade style games. Decent place to see a movie.
Nice wide seats. Very comfortable. The only down side is too many trailers before the actual kids movie. Clean bathrooms.
Screen is not at sufficient angle for the first row to be enjoyable..
Love the D Box seating and Dolby ATMOS audio.
The best theatre in the city BY FAR. I am extremely satisfied. I always get great service. Meanwhile the service is always very poor at Chinook.
Good but could be more organized. Great staff good seats and movies
Always a great place to catch a movie. Close by and friendly staff. I needed to leave soon after my movie started and was helped out by Cameron. This is my spot to catch a flick, and I like what they have done with the renovations and the AVX screens
We bought the tickets with reclining chairs...unfortunately the seats don't actually recline. It would be nice if they could even a little bit.
The theater was clean, the seats were comfortable, and the snack food was hot and was prepared quickly.
Customer service: great fast and easy no issues everyone is usually pretty friendly. Comfotability: Seating is fantastic with recliners. Offering movies in 3D I don't really understand why this is still a thing because honestly can't really notice the difference most the time between 3D and non 3D movies Sound Quality: Fantastic can't really go wrong here unless its the movie that's overly loud. (Venom 2 Let there be Carnage... the screams were a bit much) Food: Popcorn there is great and variety of snacks offered is great but the popcorn seasoning is lacking to where I feel I have to bring my own in if I or someone else in my party is wanting to add a splash of flavor Pricing: this is where it really gets me. The pricing of stuff at the movies is so high and just keeps getting higher. At this point in time you can stream movies from home for so much cheaper but sometimes you crave that movie theater experience. The food is almost unaffordable where getting 3 drinks and 2 popcorns is almost 50+ dollars.
I always get great customer service here and there theaters are always clean even though they are renovating
Nice renovation and the new comfy seats are awesome :)
Very nice employees & the Adam's family is a funny movie. Great experience.
The grossest theater I've ever been too! The seats pretend to be cushioned, the food pretends to be warm, and the customers pretend they got what they payed for.....
Fairly quick service. Very comfortable seating.
Good theatre right by my house, but the seat could use an upgrade. Not as comfortable for 2 hours movie. I will usually go to the country hills location if i have the extra time. Never the less, this one will do fine for a quick friday night movie.
????????for the reclining chairs in Auditorium 8, comfy. The Dora movie was awesome, my 7 year old loved it
It's a pretty good theatre. Everyone is helpful. But they usually have long lines so be prepared to wait for your popcorn etc!
Always enjoy the experience. The recliner seats, concessions, and online booking through Atom make everything very convenient and enjoyable
New theatre reno very nice. Great sound, big screen, comfy recliner seats. A bit pricey though
I like that it is close to where I live. They are going to be changing the sits to reclining chair looking forward to that. Will make it more comfortable for all. Also like that they have a several movies to choose from.
Place was very clean. Staff was really friendly. No refills on large drinks or popcorn??? Hmm??
Went to watch 1917 today. No lines for opcorn, swift service, VERY comfy reclining chairs. Planning our next visit.
they said masks dont need to be worn in the theater because it's possible to social distance, which is true if they actually enforced their seating chart. we had a group of 6 people sit directly in front of us and one behind us. not social distancing at all. we asked the people in front if they were in the correct seats and they said they had been told they could sit together if they were from the same household. wont be going back.
So Cineplex crowfoot put some nice seats (which every theatre has had for years) & now they think they're the $h!t and are charging $14 per ticket. When it used to $10. Double ???? Are u f*n kidding me !!
Nice auditorium, good comfortable seats.
The recliner seats are nice, not as comfortable as the landmark ones though. The theater we were seated in didn't have enough of an incline and I felt three seats ahead of us were sometimes in the way, but that is just me being picky!
Amazing seating, very well kept, clean organized and great service.. nothing to complain about ????
The staff is friendly enough and it is easily accessible. Unfortunately it looks like there have been no major updates here. The carpet looks like the same one from the early 2000's. They could use with some updating as landmark is opening up a theater in market mall supposedly.
Really nice to see them upgrade their seat to the recliners. Movie section is limit at time. Food and drink line is kinda longer then other complex. Need to train more staff. Need to clean up better between showing.
Great places for afternoon movies, yummy popcorn and nice staff. Love that they moved the ticket booth so now you only have to show your ticket once, not every time you go to bathroom or go for concession. Décor and seats are outdated but it looks like they are redoing some of the theatres. Love that you can purchase tickets online and choose seats.
The new leather seats with elevated foot rests are awesome. Also I have never had any problem with its staff or cleanliness.
Clean, Friendly and a great place to go. Just way to quiet because of Covid-19. But that can be a blessing too
The automatic handicap doors on our theater weren't operational which is why the star is taken off, but otherwise the visit was excellent. James at the box office was very helpful, Sam in concession was very polite and efficient, and Cameron stopped sweeping in the lobby and helped my wife carry our tray of food to our theater. All around excellent service from the staff.
Love the recliner seats and family favourites, but it would be easier if we could get assigned seats
Great helpful staff. Very friendly and engaging. We had a great night at the movies.
Good place for one person to watch the movie... especially Tuesday is movie day so price us really good..
Bring cash. Use cash. They are good mg to automated seat ticket sales and the machines are frustrating. So much so that they need to be babysat. Using cash is quicker and easier and defiantly more social. The rest of the experience is typical.
Awesome seats and online reservation of your seat option is available here now! Very easy to use and always a nice place for a movie
Good seats and a variety of food outlets if u don't want the usual movie food.
Been here 2 times both times the movie did not play. Projector didn't work. The most recent they didn't come talk to us for 30 minutes letting us know what was going on. Finally came in and gave everyone a new pass to a future movie. The theatre was very dated and was falling apart. Roof tiles missing above your head dirty all around. I will not be coming back here again.
Dark blurry picture, sound was too low, seats reclined about half way. Not the best considering a 3 hr movie...
Have not been to a movie for ten year's. My daughter tool me to End Game. Wow did I enjoy the experience! Be back much sooner this time
Very good theater
New uber comfy recliners, D boxes, more room and Ultra AVX sound! Great experience.
Cineplex Odeon Crowfoot should be hopefully renovated they're going to have all the nice fancy seats in there and was talking with some of the construction workers one day walking by I said it's going to look really amazing in there can't wait for it to reopen soon if it isn't already open now go see a good
they are not doing much to curb the virus. they have assigned seats but people just move to different ones and they wouldn't do anything about it. i also saw all of their employees cleaning things inside with no gloves.
Good place to watch movies!
Can't think of one thing that was wrong with this place. Good games, great selection of food, not much wait times, the seating and the movie quality is good, staff are very helpful.
Qr code checked but no physical distance blocks between seats. No barrier
Recently went their to watch the Lion King, nice cinemas and helpful staff.
I loved it and the movie we watched was great. We watched abominable snowman. The only thing was that the 3d glassed provides was kind of uncomfortable. Overall I will likely be coming back
The new seats are very comfortable, roomy, and nice. The screen is nice and big. The layout is good and the staff are mostly wonderful, considerate, and helpful. My only complaints are the abundance of 3D with more limited times for regular non-3D movies and with the emphasis on using automated ticket dispensers. For the former, I know that the people at Cineplex don't make that call and that it is the wishes of the movie studios, but the Cineplex staff are very sympathetic. For the latter issue, I wanted to be served by a living person when buying my ticket and was willing to wait a few minutes. I like talking to the people who work there. The manager on duty insisted on having me use the automatic machine, even after I expressed my desire to interact with the human worker. I was disappointed as to having the appearance of having a choice but then not being given the choice.
Not sure what's going on with this location. They need a sign for the debit/credit stations. Waited 15 minutes for a hot dog and the bottom half of my bun was hard. Didn't want to wait again, so I ate it. The hot dog itself was delicious!
Not too bad but definitely not on par with Landmark
The theatre was nice and clean! Watched a great movie confortably!
Finally we are getting back to normal somehow still with restrictions
Good seat for movie..better than before
Purchased our seats early. Showed up, ordered popcorn, layered butter. Popcorn was awesome. Adequate butter for a change. Good from start to finish. Super buttery. Reclining seats. What can you say about that. One thing. Good job Ciniplex. Staff was efficient although not overly friendly. Little work to do there but it was a good experience and I would visit again.
It's been a while since I visited this cinema. It was a nice surprise to see that they updated the seats ????. Very comfortable and roomy. The buttered popcorn was freaking amazing but that may be becuase I haven't had theater popcorn in a year and a half.
The rooms are a good size and the recliners work and are comfortable. We were near the center of the seating and had full screen view without twisting or straining and the sound was really well balanced there also. No lineups for the refreshments. Covid protocols in place but didn't interfere with the experience. We enjoyed the show and if the covid situation allows, will go again under the current constraints.
Love this theatre, love that they are open again and really appreciate the comfy recling seats. Staff are always friendly and the theatre is always clean.
Going to the movies is always good but I find I dont enjoy anything about cineplex as much as I do landmark. Smaller drinks with paper straws that get soggy before the movie is done. Even the popcorn isn't quite as good.
Came here for a 930pm showing of Joker. Fire alarm came on 4 times during the movie with the sirens blasting. Felt like I was watching it in 4dx. No staff ever came in to offer any explanation or tell us if there really was a fire. I can only assume it was due to the ongoing renovations. We did get vouchers for a free ticket on the way out. I'd probably avoid this place until the renos are finished.
They were awesome I use a wheelchair and they offered me one of the seats so I don't have to sit in my chair, I know they didn't have to but it was nice
A good theater. Lots of parking, but lots of restaurants too. It's a bit of an older theater, but they've added features over the years. Make sure you get a theater with a newer system and it's great. The concession is usually very busy, so make sure you give yourself time for the popcorn line.
