My girlfriend and I went to watch F9 in VIP Aud #1. It was an amazing experience from beginning to end! Socially distanced seats and every staff member was wearing face masks. Food service was quick and delicious, however a little on the pricey end but that is to be expected. Overall, a great experience!

The seats are still the old style so not that comfortable. And lots of noise came through from the movie in the next theatre. Friendly and efficient staff. Of course the snacks are overpriced.

I officially have a new VIP Theater. After going to Windermere for a lot of years, I decided to check out the North VIP theater foe the first time. Was NOT Disappointed. The VIP Lounge has a much better atmosphere although the service was a little slow, that's a minor inconvenience. The Theater VIP Seats blew my mind. Power recliners, heated seats, and extra spacious leg room really sold me. Very impressed. This will be my new theater when I come to the city to see new movies.

Yesterday was the first time my friend & I have been to a movie in a long time. We caught the new and long-awaited Spiderman movie. We decided to treat ourselves and bought tickets for the VIP 3D show. This was my first time in the VIP seats, and the experience was a bit of a downer. I'm not sure if the screen was too bright, or if there was too much light in the room - but I couldn't see the image on the screen very well. The theatre wasn't completely dark and the light along walls and stairs were distracting too. There's a lot going on in the movie, and with it being 3D - my eyes were already working hard to focus. Even my friend said that he thought the screen was too bright and difficult to view. Also, I bought a package of Sour Patch kids candy: they were dry and crumbly. They weren't sour and chewy and juicy. Almost as if they were sitting under a heat lamp for a few hours or something. It was just a bit of a let down. I thought my first VIP experience would be more indulging, but in the end I was underwhelmed. However! Our waitress was Luiza, and she was super friendly and approachable. She made us smile and laugh. 5 stars for Luiza :)

I went here to the VIP theatre for the first time since before COVID to see Free Guy. We had a great time! The food was good, the drinks were good, and the theater was clean. Everything was expensive, but that's expected. The VIP area/bar is super nice.

Sprung for the VIP experience with dinner and a movie for my birthday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Food is reasonably priced (and very good), drinks are good but expensive, but that’s not unusual for alcohol anywhere. The VIP theatre is very nice. The recliner seats are comfortable and the in-seat service is a nice “VIP” touch to the traditional movie experience. If you haven’t tried VIP, I certainly recommend giving it a shot. I won’t do it every time, but it lives up to the name! In addition, every staff member I interacted with was friendly and professional. No complaints about this theatre whatsoever.

Well covid protocol, understaffed one person on door to deal with disgruntled patrons, and everyone has to wait pop and corn is stupidly priced since when do we pay 50 dollars for two pops and popcorn worth 5 bucks to complete the expirence, but hey if you shall giver!

We took the kids to see Encanto. Theater was not busy at all and easy to check-in with touch less scanners. Great butter popcorn, Scene points, and very nice staff. Clean theaters and bathrooms.

Clean, sanitized and proper inspections of vaccinations and id's were excellent. Service in VIP was top notch and I recommend this or any great viewing options. Talk about being treated like a superstar!!!

I have came here way too often this summer. It is very pricey but it helps to have a SCENE card/account. Cineplex now has a membership that is more beneficial. This is a great movie theater. Ultra AVX is out of this world! Amazingly loud sound system.

I love going to the movies, it's an experience that you can't really replicate at home. Over the years it's become suuuper expensive, but once in a while it's great to get out with a date or family and see a good movie on the big screens. The VIP is crazy expensive, but an experience every adult should try at least once, you can have a beer delivered to you in any other theater after all! See you there.

Had an issue with a seat, but the staff did their best to rectify the situation eventually moving us to different seating. This place overall is worth it just for the amazing staff alone.

This used to be my favourite Movies in Edmonton. Unless I was physically harassing by a white, Middle Eastern female staffs. She ran into with a cleaning broom. She started pushing me, forced me to move around and started cleaning around me. It was stupid because there was no cleaning needed (no popcorn or garbage or messed). And I was given all wrong advices by The black Middle Eastern women about the E-Pass (Self Service) not working. The machine wasn’t working, it was the staffs that gave the wrong helpful advice and informations. The staffs gave all wrong information what to do. And less foods, fun, games and prices went more expensive and doubled the prices. Less fun, more problems, bad staffs, end up double the costs for customers too. They lied and abused COVID-19 for all their problems too.

Has the best VIP theater in Edmonton, and the staff has always been great. They are always so understanding and really know the meaning of great customer service. We always recommend this theater when we go out with friends.

Concessions prices went up since reopening after covid shut downs. Never had an issue with this place. I go regularly.

NO HANDRAILS, so getting up the stairs was really difficult! I have arthritis in hips & lower back. 2 lovely ladies helped me down the stairs after the movie; thanks! Will have to stick to Landmark in St. Albert, as there are handrails. Saw West Side Story, a well done film; I'm not usually a fan of musicals; this was an exception. Seats are comfortable.

We attended the VIP restaurant before going to the AVX theatre for our movie. Our server was very friendly but the service for our drinks was quite slow. We received our appetizers before our first drinks. The food on the other hand was very quick and tasteful.

Clean, big theater, comfortable retractable seats, excellent, fast paced condescension stand, friendly staff, great sound system, clean tidy bathroom's, great parking and food is good. (But pricey though.!) I like this theater!!! ????????????.

NOT A REAL VIP EXPERIENCE Let me tell you why: - No heated seats -Can’t recline all the way back - Sub-par “lounge” with no pool table or games for entertainment - Uneducated staff couldn’t list all Vitamin Waters in stock and had to guess - My $9 sliver of a cheesecake was cold and probably from No Frills - Walmart Equate brand soaps instead of working auto dispensers - Bring a ladder to hang your coat in the ladies bathroom stalls - Hope nobody sits next to you or you’ll have to put your purse/bag and jacket on the floor (no hooks at all) - If you like the trailers it’s not happening since the lights are on and this is when orders are placed - Then entrie “new” area smells like drywall Overall, go on a Wednesday for $35 if you want to somewhat experience the new “VIP” theatre or just fly to Toronto to enjoy a REAL VIP THEATRE. ????????????????????????

I wanted to pay for my movie with my Scene points but for some reason,at no fault of my own,they couldn't process my points card so I ended up paying for it with cash which is very tight at the moment. I was very disappointed and when I talked to the manager he didn't comp me my ticket nor did he know what to do so I feel that I got royaly screwed. And to top it off this is the second time that this has happened. I caution people that are going to the movies and paying for it with points, I would highly recommend that you bring an alternative way to pay for it,just in case. I'm surprised that the manager couldn't come to some sort of compromise due to the fact that this happened at no fault of my own.

We were served in theatres by Nhi and Jordan, and both in the theatre and prior in the restaurant we had simply incredible service… I had never been to a VIP theatre before I I do not think I could go back, the staff were friendly and fun and went so above and beyond to make our experience! 10/10 recommend!

I love this theater but saw Spiderman today and there was no social distance regulations in place. I've been a few times during the pandemic and there's always a distance between guests in the theater. The theater was packed seat to seat today which is concerning due to the new variant. I understand I'm at risk going to the theater but felt better when there was a mandatory space between people watching the movie.

Great! We went there to see the movie "Gnomeo and Juliet" during Easter Sunday! One of the staff there gave us two toppers toys for the drinks, even though we only purchased one Gnomeo Combo. Explained to her that our daughters will fight over a toy. She understood it very well, and gave us extra toy without arguing or saying anything, just a very sweet smile!!!

One of the best cinemas in Edmonton it's my go to when I want to go see a movie,the renovated seats are phenomenal with full recline and heating, the bar is very nice staffed with good staff that know how take a good cocktail! In seat dining is always wonderful and quick with a good selection of food and drink. Sound and picture is wonderful in all of the theaters, no bad seats in the vip!

The Cineplex VIP experience offers a lounge and premium seating. Very nicely renovated VIP section of the theatre! However, there is also a premium price.

A disrespectful amount of Preshow advertisements. The movie started a full 21 minutes after the posted showtime. 10 minutes after the posted showtime they are still playing advertisements, at the 10 minute mark they start movie trailers mixed with advertisements, the movie itself begins 21 minutes late. Shame

It was a quite Sunday. 7 of us in my family went to see No Time to Die! Very clean theatre. The best part was there only us 7 in the theatre! Had fun and enjoyed the movie and the whole place!

Terrific seats, wonderful popcorn, and a good movie. The only thing I would suggest is that there be a closer watch on where people are sitting; three men came just before the movie started and just sat where they wanted, which was right behind us, rather than keeping their distance.

Just make sure to check seat availability prior to coming in to buy tickets, especially if it is busy... they tend to lie about seat availability to fill up VIP sections first.. How do I know?? We went to buy tickets of the soonest possible showtime for Spiderman and they pointed us to VIP... I asked if they have regular theaters that's gonna show soon and we were told that the seats are full for the entire night.. so we ended up going to the VIP.. We weren't able to enter the vip because my brother was a minor so we assumed we're getting a refund, but then they told us there are seats available for a regular theater show within 30 mins.. I saw the ladies eying at each other like they were just caught between lies. So nope. Won't trust them again

I’ve gone to see 9 movies since the beginning of October and 7 of the 9 times I’ve gone I’ve had no issues. One visit was a popcorn issue and the other was a lighting issue. Overall, the staff are quick, efficient, and even apologize for mandatory COVID cleaning. I enjoy my movie watching experience nearly every time.

Went to see a movie yesterday and we felt so safe and welcomed! Everything was clean and we were definitely social distanced, plus way more space. I felt safe going to a movie and will be going again when it opens up!!! The staff are also very helpful and were attentive to anything we needed. It was a safe place to go to get out of the house on a cold day!

The milkshakes are drastically slowing down the concession lines. Got rid of them or move them to their own line. It's actually ridiculous how much they slow things down.

Really felt like a VIP! Great service in the theatre and the reclining seats are very comfortable. We had supper in the VIP lounge afterward. Really nice decor and comfortable. Great menu selection and food was quite good and well-priced. Service was quite good but had to wait to settle the bill (server said to machines being busy.). The manager came to our table to introduce herself. I think that they are really trying to give a great guest experience and we were very pleased with their effort. It seems like Northwest Edmonton has been short-changed in restaurants and services and I applaud Ciniplex for upping their game here. We will be back!

Watched spiderman in the vip cinema. It was our first time. We bought popcorn and drinks outside. Surprisingly, we can order it inside the theatre while sitting pretty in the reclining and heated seats. They even have a pretty lounge to relax as you wait. We definitely have to come back to enjoy these perks!!!

This is one of the few places besides my own home that I can truly say it's relaxing . It's clean, and the seats are comfortable. Seriously what is more relaxing than a bag of popcorn and a soda as you watch a movie of your choice in Cineplex.

This theater is clean and service is on average good. One thing I didn't like about my visit today is that they were advertising special cups and popcorn tins for the new Spiderman. I went because it is opening day for the movie and when I went to get oneof these combos they said they don't have them. Why advertise a product if you don't have it? Especially on opening night of a movie that is that big. It just was a disappointing end to an other wise good movie experience

VIP Friends and Family night. Some disappointments, particularly in the popcorn without any actual butter and not fresh at all. One of our group also felt Frank's hot sauce on buffalo cauliflower ruined it. The server we had was fantastic, fun and friendly. Can't wait for when the recliners work for heated seats and drinks available! Looking forward to going more!

I was absolutely disappointed with the service I received at the VIP theatre. I was told that I could order my food in the lounge and have it delivered in the theatre prior to the start of the movie, so I that's what I did. I then offered to pay prior to entering the theatre, but I was informed I would need to pay inside the theatre. No issues there, I made my way to my seat and waited for the staff member to approach me about payment. Our food did not show up until HALFWAY through the movie and the staff made us pay in the theatre DURING the middle of the movie. I then informed the staff that I had a gift card to pay with (a Christmas present I was excited to use). This was met with an eye roll and an audible "are you kidding me?!" from the staff. Completely unprofessional. I have never been treated so poorly by the staff at this theatre. I always recommend others to go to vip but this has definitely opened my eyes. I felt embarrassed and humiliated as other people in the theater were upset with me for the remainder of the movie.

I always have a great experience here. I really enjoy the VIP theatre, the spaciousness and the great service. I also really like the Atmos theatre experience, the sound is so clear and really helps bring the movie alive. It’s clean and feels relaxed but orderly at the same time… if that makes any sense? Lol

Went there to see Dear Evan Hansen and everything went well. The movie was great the seats comfy and the washrooms were clean. I went to a matinee and it was really quiet only 3 other people in the theatre so no worries about social distancing.

I don't know what it is about movies, but they always seem to bring out the worst in me. For some people, it's just the company of friends and that familiar setting that brings them joy. However, movie theaters can be a fun place with an exciting social atmosphere and a great film series. I had a very interesting experience here recently which gave me reason to reflect on my experiences going to this treasure trove of entertainment for all ages.
