This was the second time my family used Boulding Mortuary. The delivery of services and professionalism encountered was simply "excellent." The owner and his staff worked diligently to answer my questions any time I called. They even have an answering service that answers during off-business hours and you will receive a return call from the owner or his staff within 15 minutes. On a more difficult note, there was a family issue that arose before the service began at Boulding Mortuary. The staff quickly, confidentially and professionally handled the matter in a way that glorified God and honored the family. I am simply impressed and appreciative with the beautiful space, the layout, the music, the scents, the display of pictures and flowers, the attentiveness of the staff and the delivery of services from beginning to end. I will always have fond memories of my son's memorial service because this organization is simply "top notch." Thank you, Dec. Boulding, Stephanie and the rest of the staff at Boulding Mortuary. I was there recently for a funeral. On top of having to explain to my job why I did not have a work slip to prove where I was, there just seemed to be a lack of professionalism. The party paying for the services did not have their needs met on seating arrangements, documentation handling, or just support for the grieving. In the future, I'd hope that in the future, there isn't this amount of confusion.

I'm sincerely disappointed in the lack of professionalism that was displayed at such a sensitive time. It led to confusion with the family members (excluding Michelle Baynes) and the attendees. The confusion resulted in individuals not receiving work slips that they were to show to their employers and inability to locate the death certificate. It pains me to have to write this review, but it is important that I am honest about my family's experience. I hope that others have a better experience than my family had. Based ff the way Ms. Pritchard and other staff members spoke to my father, brothers and I during the funeral, I am not interested in discussing your procedures. What is clear is that the funeral service should have been handled correctly the first time. Reaching out to you would cause me to relive a day that should have been about my family, but was overshadowed by your lack of professionalism. Despite Michelle's gratitude to the way she was treated at the funeral, there are 6 other people whom are related to Tyler Owens who feel otherwise. As I said, I hope other family's had a better experience than mine. Because this experience was truly heartbreaking.

If you are looking for a mortuary that does a profession job, please go to Boulding Mortuary, Inc. We are from Indianapolis, IN and had to bury two different relatives within a 5 month period. The first time we used Boulding we found them very compassionate and professional during the funeral. We found Henry Boulding II the owner and Stephanie Pritchard the Mortician and Office Manager wonderful to work with. In 5 months we had to call them again. They both were proficient and sticklers for details. Really all their staff is very good. They are the best mortuary in York, Pa.

I can’t say enough about the service in fact I know where I’m going when the good Lord’s ready to call me home.
