At a time when you have many things to do. Your mind may be elsewhere? The Hallett family will be there to guide you, to support you and to answer any questions they can. They even included Social Security FAQs and filed our VA paperwork for my deceased Dad.

SERVICES FOR A MARINE VETERAN: WHEN A LOVED ONE PASSES AWAY SOMETIMES OVERWHELMING GRIEF MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO MAKE DECISIONS. A YOUNG MEMBER OF THE HFH TEAM ASSISTED ME AND MY FAMILY DURING THIS TIME OF SORROW. FIRST, I ASKED FOR GUIDANCE FINDING A TRUMPETER TO PLAY "TAPS" AND THE "MARINE HYMN". I WAS GIVEN TWO NAMES. I CHOSE A VETERAN WHO SAID HE COULD PLAY BOTH. IN REALITY HE DID "NOT" KNOW THE MARINE HYMN AND COULD BARELY GET THROUGH TAPS. HE WAS TERRIBLE! SECOND, I ASKED FOR GUIDANCE FINDING THE CORRECT SIZE FOR A SPORTCOAT AND SHIRT. THE YOUNG MAN RECOMMENDED SPORTCOAT SIZE 52 AND SHIRT SIZE 20! I QUICKLY REALIZED THIS INFORMATION WAS WRONG. I HAD TO GET ADVICE FROM ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME. THEY RECOMMENDED SPORTCOAT SIZE 44 OR 46. HFH WAS GIVEN BOTH SIZES; THEY CHOSE SIZE 46. SPORTCOAT SIZE 44 WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER! HFH DID "NOT" PROVIDE GUIDANCE. THEY DID "NOT" SHOW ANY RESPECT FOR ME OR MY FAMILY DURING THIS TIME OF GRIEF. MY ADVICE TO OTHERS: IF YOU HAVE ALREADY MADE A COMMITMENT TO HFH, THEN ONLY DEAL WITH BILL. IF YOU HAVE NOT COMMITED TO HFH, THEN GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR FUNERAL SERVICES.
