The generosity in all they have done for me is beyond what I could have ever imagined. I am so glad that we chose this new cemetery for our loved one. It is beautiful and peaceful in the most central location to where we travel and have built our lives together here in Langley BC.

Heritage Gardens has made the process of death planning a lot less daunting. Thank you to Andrew and Debbie who helped me with purchasing a plot in advance for my family members. Their professionalism and welcoming demeanor really made this process as painless as possible. Andrew was really helpful and took the time to research and think about religious requirements and accessibility options for our family. They also shared the future landscaping plans, and what can I say? I'm a sucker for cherry blossoms. For those requiring Islamically compliant plots, they do still have some that you can buy directly through Heritage Gardens. You'll want to buy soon before you get priced out or the land is full and there aren't many options in the lower mainland after that.

This was an easy decision to make; meeting and spending time with Victor and Debbie it became clear to my family how much they care for the land, the eco-system, the families that need their services, and most especially the people they intern at Heritage Gardens. Heritage Gardens not only builds on decades of experience with passion for a more progressive approach, and offers 'green' burial options, but the entire team are kind, flexible, and supportive of families experiencing loss and grief. I am so grateful we were able to lay my grandmother, father, and sister to rest in such a natural setting, surrounded by swaying tres, beautiful flowers, buzzing bees, and singing birds. I have chosen Heritage Gardens to be my resting place. When I bought my natural burial plot i found out that they have bee hives, one of my late husband's passions. I sponsored a hive and received 12 lbs of honey, I had a beautiful afternoon bottling the honey and visiting the plaque I had made in Brian's honour. I am so happy to support this group of people whose main goal is to make the transition a personal and beautiful experience.

This cemetery is exceptional. I did not handle the process of my friend's interment but I do know that it went very smoothly for his family. My experience here at this cemetery was: attending my friend's graveside service, and later on when I came to visit his grave. A staff member, or the owner (I did not get his name) greeted me when I visited and made me feel very welcome, especially when I was having an emotional moment. I felt very relaxed coming here and honouring the memory of my friend. I saw some beautiful birds in the cemetery, including many hummingbirds. There were beautiful flowers/plants they have all over the grounds. They help give back to the environment by having bees onsite, and produce honey. It makes me feel at peace to know that my friend can rest in somewhere so beautiful, after all he's been through. More cemeteries should adopt this eco-friendly approach. I would highly recommend this cemetery, just based on my experience. I believe that the owners know what they are doing and care a lot about people. Thank you for all you have done.

I am very happy to have found a peaceful resting place for my husband. It is in a great, easy to access location from our home in Cloverdale. The staff are very kind, helpful and accommodating. The only issue that I have with the location is the noise of the truck traffic along 16th Ave but that is beyond their control. The cemetery itself is very peaceful and I really like that it's a sustainable site with unique options.

I highly recommend Heritage Gardens Cemetery. My dad wanted a "green burial" for himself, and Heritage Gardens provided EXACTLY what we were looking for. Trevor, Debbie, and Victor were kind, respectful, and very helpful at an extremely emotional time. They helped us in a very short time frame so that we could feel a sense of closure and completion before returning to our home city after my dad's passing. His burial was simple and beautiful. I love that whenever I visit I will know that his remains have gone back to nature to support the life of the beautiful surrounding ecosystem, exactly as he wanted. The driftwood marker with is name plaque is absolutely perfect for the simple, natural aesthetic that he always enjoyed in life.

It's so beautiful here - a great place to visit and remember loved one. Trevor and his team take such care to live their environmental values, with green burial options, beehives onsite, thoughtful native landscaping, and even the occasional visit from a deer or bunny. The owners are very kind and genuine - they honoured my mom's last wishes perfectly, and made her feel very comfortable when she visited in her final weeks to pick out a plot. She couldn't imagine a better final resting place, and neither can I.

She is very knowledgable and professional. She offer excellent service from showing us the options. She is a blessing to everybody who has a chance work with her. I had chance talk to Andrew. I contacted Andrew and Debbie at Heritage Gardens under different circumstances. We wanted to bury my parents whose remains were in the care of my brother for over 20 years.. When shopping for a cemetery, I was drawn back to Heritage Gardens because I just felt so comfortable with the people, the cemetery and It felt like the perfect home for my parents. I found everyone very helpful in making sure I was understanding the processes, all of the options available plus all of the costs involved. It never came across as a sales pitch. My brother had designed the headstone and with Debbie's assistance made it much, much better than the original. My brother had limited involvement as he is receiving palliative care for cancer. Debbie sped up the headstone production with hopes my brother would be able to attend the internment. He wasn't able to attend the small service I prepared so we video taped the service for him to see. On the day of the service we were happy to see a tent and benches provided by heritage. I couldn't be happier with my experience!!

I first read about Heritage Gardens in a newspaper article, and was interested in learning more about their approach to memorialization and internment, which seemed different from traditional cemeteries. After speaking with Debbie and Andrew at Heritage, our family made the decision to trust them with creating a special place for the internment of our loved ones ashes, which we had been keeping at home for several years. We have been very happy with the creation of a garden featuring a beech tree and memorial plaques and felt we were guided every step of the way in this process, with empathy and professionalism.

Trevor and his team were very patient and accommodating as my Dad and I were deciding how best to handle the ashes of my mother and sister, both of whom had passed years ago. We decided on a tree memorial and found the perfect spot and picked out a Copper Beech tree, with the help of the team. The day of the committal of their ashes was lovely, and my sister's family were truly happy with her final resting place. They have a very progressive vision for the cemetery which made the choice that much easier. Trevor and his team were kind and respectful of all our wishes and a pleasure to deal with.

After researching and visiting several cemeteries, Heritage Gardens is definitely an excellent choice. We wanted a place for Dad filled with peace, joy, and full of YANG energy. The moment we first visited Heritage Gardens, we liked it right away. The grounds are beautiful and clean, and the facilities are immaculate. They get a lot of sunshine, and birdsong is everywhere. After communicating with the owner, Trevor, we immediately knew that Heritage Gardens would be the place for our whole family. Trevor, Debbie, and Victor are very caring and welcoming; they patiently alleviated all the concerns that we had, and repeatedly made sure our needs were being met. They are very environmentally friendly, and very accommodating to different languages and cultures. I don't feel they are typical business people out to sell stuff. They felt like family members themselves who care about our loss and journeyed with us through this most difficult time with their warm-hearted help. I strongly recommend them. This is the kind of place that we would like to visit our departed loved ones again and again over many years. Total 5 stars, I wish I could rate them 100 stars!

Dealing with my moms sudden death was so overwhelming and sad for me but Debbie and her crew made the experience less traumatizing. Debbie was professional, caring, empathetic and genuinely nice. She helped me find my mom’s ( and dad’s) resting place and made it more of a tranquil experience knowing my mom and dad were being placed where they would be content. The garden where they are is stunningly beautiful and well kept. It borders on parts of Campbell Valley where my parents loved to go walking almost daily. Every time we visit we see someone working in the gardens maintaining the beauty. Debbie went out of her way to help me find the perfect Volkswagen van to put in their headstone and walked us through all the steps with kindness and compassion. I love that we can visit almost anytime, that it is close and that this cemetery is family owned. It is a complete different experience than dealing with a regular cemetery. They are personable and down to earth lovely people. Thank you for making a terrible time in our lives a little more do-able. ????

It's been a year now since we had to bury our Mom and Dad and although it was a very difficult time those who helped us were very kind and understanding. Helping us throughout the whole process. They showed us the place we selected and guided us through all the necessary steps. The grounds were beautiful and when the headstone was laid they sent us notification so we could go there and see it in person. Never once did they push us to purchase more. They just worked with us. Currently Heritage Gardens is the only cemetery in the Lower Mainland that offers this. The green burial was held on a lovely sunny day in September. The burial plot was ideal, nestled among the trees, away from the road noise. My husband passed away 5 years ago.Since his passing I found myself struggling with how to properly honor him. I wasn't sure what I wanted but I did firmly believe that when the time was right, I would just know. On a drive to board my dog, I saw a property being developed. We have been working with Heritage Gardens since the spring of 2020 - the pandemic (and admittedly a bit of procrastination on my part) intervened to prevent us feeling comfortable having a family gathering, and the folks at HG have been very patient and accommodating. We had a small tree planted in our loved ones' honour, and last Saturday, we had our small private family scattering ceremony for the 3 family members we have lost in the last several years. Debbie helped and guided me through the process all the way. She was present and helped throughout the actual ceremony - supportive but unobtrusive at the same time. I think we all left feeling good about the experience of 'saying good bye'. I would highly recommend Heritage Gardens if you are looking for a way to remember and honour a loved one in a 'down to nature'/sustainable way - a little different from the traditional cemetery/funeral home experience.

Right from my initial enquiry, the Heritage Gardens people were very easy to deal with and I felt no pressure. We opted for planting a rose shrub in the Willow Garden and selected a plaque under which we put the ashes. They were totally fine with me picking out my mom's favourite rose shrub and delivering it to them. The family felt it was more meaningful if we did everything ourselves and it was really the right choice for us. I appreciated their flexibility. The setting is beautiful and serene. We love it so much we pre-purchased other interment sites.

The entire staff at the Gardens are amazing. The Garden is our place of refuge. It is quiet, it is peaceful, it is beautiful, it is amazing. Cannot save enough good things about it. Ever interaction, from the initial contact and ongoing, was respectful, thoughtful and so reassuring. We did an open casket viewing at the Gardens. So in tune with nature. We did a burial of ashes. Again, in tune with nature and so natural, so respectful and so, so comforting. They took and are still taking care of us through every step.
