Be sure to read your contract carefully and follow up with the funeral home. Months after my mother's funeral, smolarek had came after me for TWICE the price initially discussed. This was due to paperwork being incorrectly submitted to social security. I would not recommend smolarek after this situation.

They provide a good service while being respectful, accommodating, and helpful. Not the largest place. I just wish I didn't have a reason to be there.

Even with all the COVID restrictions in place, the Smolarek funeral home made us feel comfortable and assured throughout the memorial process. The entire team of people that they had working to assist and ease us through the process were professional and wonderful to our family. I am glad we chose them during these difficult times.

It's pretty much as you'd expect it. Small, homely, and works fine. If you're looking at this place, it's probably hard enough times and sorry for your loss. Feels pretty similar to every other funeral home I have been to over the years. I'd say it's more about location for whether or not this place will work for you.

Outstanding. My mom passed in Rochester while buffalo was having a snowstorm they waited a bit and still got her. So easy to deal with and understanding. My mom liked them when my dad passed so no doubt I was using them when she passed.

The Smolarek family is so kind and patient. They were very professional and attended to our every detail. The bright, spacious chapels created a homelike atmosphere and easily accommodated our big family. Plenty of parking and conveniently located. The services were beautiful and they really helped us through the entire process. As they also specialize in funeral Pre-Planning, I recently made my own funeral pre-arrangements with them as well.

Amazing service!! Keith has made this process easy and efficient for my family and I. It was VERY smooth & organized. He helped us with the set up (tables & easels for our poster boards) and made sure everything was set and ready before visitation. A huge thank you again for your care and compassion at such a difficult time The funeral home has TVs you can hook a flashdrive up to Clean & well decorated space I absolutely recommend

Smolarek funeral home was amazing when we lost our 7 year old son. We are living in Idaho and we flew home with him. Keith personally dealt with me over the phone to make all the arrangements and pick my son up at the airport within a few minutes of our arrival. They made every effort to make the situation as easy as possible. At the gravesite the cemetery messed up the placement of the tent for the service. Keith was running back and forth to get everything set up in 80 degree heat. Their dedication is amazing and they will help guide you through the whole proces .
