I have family members that own and operate funeral homes, so I know what to look for in a quality funeral business. I was extremely impressed with the warm, sincere relationship that Heather Kiser, the General Manager, quickly established with our family. She showed extreme patience as we made multiple last minute change. My 98 year old mother lived most of her life in Alabama and had friends and family across the USA. Chapelwood Funeral Home live streamed the service on Facebook so that family and friends who could not travel during the Covid quarantine could view the service. A special thanks to Heather Kiser, and her team, Joe Blanton, Jerry Black, and Avis Reardon who made the process flow smoothly and helped make this a memorable experience. I highly recommend this business.

We had my nephew's memorial service yesterday. It was a very small gathering and we used the lovely pavilion there. He was cremated, so the excavation was small. My only concern was that the shovel as left lying across the grave, and the dirt was left uncovered. Please rethink this for the next family.
