My Aunt died on Jan 3 2020. I waited till now to write this review Her funeral was one of the worst I have been to. I Was actually shocked how bad she looked. Her autopsy scar was showing she was sideways in the casket. She was on ODSP she was given bargin basement funeral. Shame On you Paul O'CONNOR.

I cannot express how grateful I am to the incredibly sensitive, compassionate and professional service from the staff at Paul O'Connor. Everything for my mom's arrangements was perfect - the quaint, inviting atmosphere of the visitation room, the setup of the flowers around my mom's coffin, the incredible attention to detail on my mom. Although we are broken hearted by this devastating loss, the staff at Paul O'Connor truly lightened the load that my family and I had to bear during this very difficult time. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My younger sister passed away on January 3rd, 2020. We had her funeral at Paul O'Connor as so many of our relatives who previously passed away over the course of many years had their viewing at this funeral home. First of all, my sister looked horrid. I didn't appear that she was properly "made up". She has long hair, but, only her bangs were showing. Her necklace was strewn. She was half sideways in the coffin and the pillow that they provided was sub standard. My sister was very ill and was a recipient of ODSP for many years. I feel that because ODSP was paying the funeral home that what she got was bargain basement. It is also my understanding that ODSP should have been paying for the burial of her ashes but this was not specified by Paul O'Connor staff in the contract with them. We, the family don't mind paying to bury our sister but could have used our collective burial fund to purchase a lovely plaque for the grave site. The O'Connor family lived and grew up around the corner from my family and we were all part of the same school system and parish. I truly feel that a much kinder effort could have been made on behalf of my dearly departed sister.

Very well organized. Staff was friendly and responsive. The day we went in for a visit with my mom they made her look like my mom which was so comforting to the entire family.

If there was an 'OK' button, I'd have selected it. They need to "get with the times"...I don't want to spend nearly 2 hours to arrange a funeral because the Director has to write all the paperwork out by hand! Not an efficient use of my time, or the funeral homes time. Our Director was very helpful, and thoroughly explained the whole process to us step by step...friendly all in all. He did a good job.

The staff was unprofessional and did not care. Since it’s been under new management the quality of service has declined. Save yourself the heartache, stress and disappointment by going elsewhere. In 1993 we buried my father there and the staff and service was outstanding. We recently used there services in May 2021 due to a death in the family and sadly it was a disaster. The New Paul O’Connor staff under new management are not forthcoming when there are issues nor follow through on what is discussed in your initial first meeting. Trust me you don’t need the anguish Paul O’Connor Funeral Home Ltd. will bring you during your grieving period.????????

I want to thank everyone at Paul O'Connor Funeral Home for providing us with exactly what we requested. Steve and Jeff BOTH were a huge factor in our decision to pick this home as a place for my father's memorial. They provided all the information we needed without hurrying us through the process and assisted us fully in choosing our options. After the memorial, Paul O'Connor himself and I believe Mrs O'Connor were there to answer any questions we had. They were friendly and compassionate, and even assisted us afterwards. This is a family owned funeral home that provided a great service for our guests, my family, and they didn't take us to the cleaners. Thank you!
