It was beautiful and light and bright, not at all dreary like some funeral homes. Kyle went above and beyond to make this very difficult time as easy for our family as possible. Our family can not thank Mike Smith and the staff at Smith's funeral home enough. My father passed away the day after Christmas very unexpectedly. Although my family knows the Smith family I am confident they treat all of the grieving families they meet with the same compassion, dignity and care that they showed to ours. We had nearly 300 hundred guests in one 3-hour visitation and the staff never became flustered or missed a beat, they were amazing to all of our guests. Art Smith even made a huge contribution to the eulogy remembering my father was in the little league hall of fame- a fact that wasn't even known by my family (he must have a memory like an elephant). I as well as my entire family would highly recommend the Smith Family funeral home with out a doubt!

My ancestor died in 1925, their funeral home is listed on the death record. They will not let you in their door if you go there in person. Nor will they tell you where the body is buried. Very shoddy. I have been trying for over 10 years to get this information.

I will NEVER use Smith's again, my mothers funeral turned into a 10 month nightmare. The place was FILTHY, the carpets hadnt been cleaned, just not what it use to be when Mike owned the business. And to top it off they just sent me a card marking a milsestone anniversary telling me its been a year since my mothers death. How tacky and insensitive was that!!! You don't NEED to remind me she has been gone a year, I live EVERYDAY knowing that and my heart breaks a little more each day. From now on NONE of my immediate family WILL ever use your funeral home again. We will go elsewhere!!

Then the pandemic hit, and I was unable to fulfill her final wish. About five months ago I began trying to fulfill that wish without success. Several weeks ago I was able to fulfill my mother's final wish. Both Kyle and Bruce from the funeral home were right there with me, providing support and honoring my mother.
