My church has worked with Dengler/Dignity in the past and they have always been great to work with and very personable. This time I needed them personally for my own father's passing, and I got to experience first hand what an amazing gift they are to a grieving family. John Dengler was closer than a brother to me, which meant the world, and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating. Dignity is amazing group and provides top notch virtual services as well online. Very professional. I will recommend this place high and above any other here in the Buffalo area!

My Dad passed away June 16, 2020, unfortunately we did not know much about scheduling a funeral, And with the restrictions with the pandemic it made things even more complicated. We met with Jack who made the planning perfect. We had a private viewing and burial done exactly the way my dad would have liked it. The facility was beautiful and everything was done wonderfully. We had a Celebration of Life the next day and we had many compliments on how beautiful the service was and how great my Dad looked. Our Uncle was a quiet man who lived a solitary life. Dengler, Roberts and Perna went above and beyond in the planning with us, the communication with the church and with family and the attention to detail for our Uncle. We felt he was given the dignity he deserved. The funeral director guided us through decisions and did not push any service or "extras" during the planning. He provided a framed photo, remembrance cards with a nice verse and a silk flower arrangement for the casket during the service. No one in the family lives in the Buffalo area anymore and one visit made took care of everything! Convenience of email and phone conversation finalized plans for us! If we had other family in the Buffalo area we would use them again.

The staff are amazing and very gifted to detail. Down to even running to the dollar store for a pair of glasses that didn’t come with dad from his nursing home. The people at the Kenmore Ave Tonawanda NY location go out of their way to make a time of sorrow into a joyful time. They treat your family member as if they were caring for their own loved one. Highly recommend them! They made a difficult process not so difficult.

My family and I were very pleased with the services we received at Hoy Funeral Home on Seneca Street. My Mom passed June, 2018 and my Uncle passed March, 2019. We had both the funerals through Hoy. As we all know this is a very difficult time of life. We were very impressed with both the services and kindness show to us during this time period. Both of these funerals were pre-planned which definitely made this time easier. However, there is still much to be done and Anne, our funeral director, was extremely kind, helpful, and patient with the process. Our family can look back upon these funerals in a positive way that does help to alleviate the difficult feelings. We highly recommend the company.
