Madeleine's sudden passing in August was devastating. My daughter called Lisa early on that Saturday morning. That one call put all of our pre- planning into motion. With professionalism and compassion our needs were handled according to our wishes. We have been members almost from the day the CO-OP idea was conceived. Having the totally pre arranged service, removed the decisions that would have been added to the grief our children felt during the loss of their mother. The dealings with those who assured us, they were "there to serve us" certainly could take lessons from the staff at the CO-OP. With the exception of Eastern Memorials in Kemptville, the cemetery, banks insurance companies and lawyers made the next four months unbelievably onerous. Thank you , to all those whose ideas and efforts brought the CO-OP to fruition and special thanks to the staff whose concern extended beyond the funeral details and arrangements. The Buckley family

You know, some days you meet someone that you automatically click with. like if you've known each other your whole lives? This was Jason for us. We came to him in hard times, and he welcomed us with his very friendly, and respectful attitude. He showed us through the whole process of planning a funeral and helped us step by step. We felt no pressure from him to buy through the coop. We were able to go through our friends for the flowers and we did our own catering. We used their location for the wake. It may appear small, but I must say that with Jason and his staff, the place was very welcoming and more intimate. it did not feel small to us. He adapted to our needs on the spot and I have never seen someone keep up like that. A real professional. I heard many stories of people getting taken advantage of in this situation. Worst funeral home ever! Nothing but a bunch of scam artists who prey upon grieving families. Was recommended by the city of Ottawa when getting help for funeral costs for my boyfriends mom. Had to call the worker from the city during the apt to explain to the idiot that worked there that she CANNOT charge us more money on top of what the City is paying (which is full cost for cremation). With the help of the city employee I was able to get the information for the Bareavment Board of Funeral Services and file a complaint in which it was investigated. How many other families have they done this too is my question??

I had the privilege of meeting Jason on one of the worst days of my life. I have never had to be the person who manages these affairs. Fortunately Jason had already taken the time to prepare my loved one for all the things that would come to pass. Jason was thorough and compassionate and everything needed, all the questions I had were resolved already with my loved one. All I needed to do was go in and sign the papers. It was the easiest thing I had to do in such a hard time. Jason was excellent and the service this place offers is excellent.
