I wanted to thank McEachnie Funeral Home especially James from the bottom of my heart for the amazing service you provided to our family during this difficult time. From the moment we had the meeting, we had nothing but professional, and exceptional service from yourself and all the staff there.

Excellent staff. Very helpful. Made sure everything was ready for us and continued to help us throughout the viewing, funeral and burial. Even after they were gracious and applied for all the paperwork needed by the government for me.

We had a death in our family in early February and choose this funeral home for the viewing and service . There was a live feed available so that people who could not make the viewing or service could at least watch online. Covid 19 limited the number of people allowed for both events so having the live stream was very important. Our family is very large and there was family from New York and Florida that could not be with us to grieve. The live stream also allowed us to download the footage so we can have it . Unfortunately the viewing was not recorded because of some sort of error at the funeral home . When we contacted the funeral home about this situation their response was “sorry for the inconvenience “. With Covid-19 limiting the number of people allowed at the funeral this was more than just an inconvenience. There were many people within our family who could not tune in to the live feed so having the recording was very important to us . The funeral home did nothing to attempt to remedy this situation. A funeral home is a business like any other, so customer service should be a priority. I do not recommend this funeral home whatsoever .

Unfortunately it's never a good time when you visit a funeral home, I have been twice for relatives funerals, service and everything was positively organised well. I would recommend.

Very respectful and professional the whole time we were there. The facility was very clean and well maintained. Not only were they very considerate of my grandmother’s viewing and service, but they also gave us an extra 30 minutes with her. A kind man was guiding us (the pallbearers) the whole way through. I recommended this place if you’re trying to find a reputable funeral home. I’d like to add that Derek is such an amazing person. He showed compassion and understanding all throughout our time here.

After my spouses passing we chose Mceachnie due to the convience to our home. It was awkward due to covid restrictions although by this point we could have 50 guests. The funeral was run meticulously with kindnness and compassion extended to everyone.

As life has it , we have chosen to use the services of McEachnie Funeral Home on a couple of occasions for the loss of a loved one. The Staff and Directors were both compassionate and very accommodating. They truly care about every Family that has had to deal with a loss. As a longstanding business in the community , they are always involved with events and Charity causes. Thank you for all that you do and have done.

We recently held a memorial/funeral for my husband, Bob on the 1st anniversary of his passing. Due to COVID we held off hoping to fulfill his wish to be brought home to NFLD, however still not possible so we decided to hold something here...we needed the closure. We will eventually make it east. I want to give the biggest thanks to the staff that helped us there...in particular Ashley would helped me plan the event and even came in on her day off to support our family. She was so professional and caring through it all. I also want to acknowledge Gaill who spent time with me prior to the service as we prepared for the visitation period. She kept my spirits up during such a hard time for me. I also was very impressed with the technological aspect such as the music I chose to play during the visitation, and also the specific songs we played at select times during the service itself. We also had about 170 pictures that were displayed throughout the time we were there. In addition, there was a video taken during the service which I was able to share with my family and friends that were not able to attend in person, due to COVID restrictions. Everything was perfect and truly could not have been better...bearing in mind how hard and sad it was to lose my husband...way too soon. I never wanted to be able to say that I would recommend a funeral home to anyone in my lifetime...but I do recommend McEachnie's.

Most professional funeral home I've ever seen. Professional and very compassionate. They understand what you're going through and provide services accordingly. They also provide an after care appointment where they go through housekeeping items. Cancelling credit cards and memberships, cancelling SIN cards. They have been absolutely exceptional. Thank you McEachnie for helping us get through this very difficult time. Highly recommend.
