Planning a funeral can be very stressful. At times, funeral homes will take advantage of your vulnerability to make a sale. Turner and Porter did no such thing. They are compassionate, detail-oriented and professional.

My mom passed away dec 3 2020 it cost 14000.00 to have a 9 people viewing.I was accually really saddend when the funneral director came to me after 10 min of viewing and said we can start now.this is discusting for a funneral home.I didn't even get half hour with her because they rushed me.They had asked me if I had pale berrors I said no.They told me for a fee I could then they told me 4 of my 9 would have to leave.After a that I was waiting for insurance cheque from Texas but they had a flood so turnner porter put extra 438.00 interest Really disappointed in them

This was my first time arranging a funeral and T&P were very kind and helpful. I was very pleased with the service and compassion from the staff and the overall experience.

Absolutely horrible . Everything was just awful and careless. There were no chairs for our viewing with hundreds of guests the first night, their make up and embalming was HORRIFIC and when we asked to close the casket we were denied. Flowers and arrangements were misplaced we never recieved the invetory list so we could thank our guests, their staff was no where to be found and had my relatives tending to most needs of our guests, Our casket was the wrong size and simply did not fit our loved one. Their staff member took us to the cafe area ( an office or private room would have been appreciated) to count almost 10,000 in cash after the first night where he not only miscounted the money but inappropriately continued to make jokes about how dangerous it is to carry cash now days . And that was all the first day of service.. if I went into detail of how we were treated , talked to and denied the opportunity to speak to any higher ups when we requested, I’d simply be here all day long. Funny end to the story tho.. after a month of conversations disputes and meeting , once they were paid in full my family receiving a survey, was hilarious.. and on our mail with their “deepest sympathies” they didn’t even spell our name right .. it’s only 5 letters
