I want to express my sincere appreciation and thanks to Sands for their generous offering to the community of a Christmas Wreath Making Workshop! It was a lot of fun and enjoyment with a big room full of folks being creative and enjoying themselves. Sands also provided a delicious coomplimentary luncheon! As my friend that attended with me said: "I'm overwhelmed with Sands generosity and with no agenda. That would have put Scrooge in the Christmas mood!" Thanks again for your community generosity and the staff giving up their Sunday to play with us!

The staff at Sands are so professional yet very caring and empathetic. They know how difficult a time you are going through and are very sympathetic and helpful. I trust in them so much that I have already prepaid and made arrangements for myself so that my family does not have to.

Very good personalized service. We were provided all the accommodation we needed in terms of scheduling and time spent with my son. Janice and Janet were very thoughtful and felt like family with the utmost care they provided to our son. They are also very professional yet able to feel and understand our grief. In terms of facilities: There is ample parking. It is up to date and very nice. Our service was done during this challenging COVID time and they had all the precautions, sanitizers everywhere, wipes, temp check, distancing.

My team hosted a two day training and were able to access The Sands as our venue. All of the staff were incredibly accommodating and approachable. The space was well kept and a really warm place to hold our training. I needed some support with technology and printing and they helped me right away. Our experience was perfect, The Sands was a great place to have our training and I would recommend to anyone in the area. The kind, compassionate care of all the staff was amazing, they are incredible at the delicate job that they do. Thank you!

We wish there is a higher rating than 5 stars.A Massive "Thank you" to Sands Funeral Home in Duncan. Your team Troy, Ginette and Janice assisted in so many ways during this difficult time. Dad passed away in Duncan and his wish was to be buried in Kamloops. Sands took care of all the paperwork, guided us step by step through this unknown process, placing the obituary in multiple medias, notifying the officials, arranging viewings at two locations, answering our calls no matter the time of day and transporting Dad back to Kamloops. At location Troy made contact with the church and the cemetery prior to our arrival. He knew where we were going and the time frame involved (in Kamloops not Duncan none the less).
