I love this store because as a woman in her late 60's it is hard to find flattering clothes.I am a size 6 or an 8 and even then it is just hard to find well made and suitable clothes for casual wear. Firstly they sell my favorite rubber boots--Aigne. They are beautifully made in France and they come in tall or short versions. They have lovely nightwear and tons of leggings and beautiful wool socks--BUT I love LOVE their sweaters and their yoga jeans. They really do source around for different things than you see in other women's stores. I had a rather difficult friend who was visiting me and with my poodle in tow (YES they are so nice to well behaved dogs!) I managed WITH ZOE'S help and patience--one pair of FAB Spanish leather ankle boots AND a great pair of flattering yoga jeans. I felt really happy about the price I paid for these items and I have gotten many compliments already. Other times I have dealt with different staff and they CHEERFULLY offer to look in their store room (Zoe did as well!) for other colors and sizes of items and they are knowledgeable about what they sell. Thanks to them I don't have to take the ferry to Vancouver to buy my clothes. And also thanks to them I don't look like a boring senior. They have mostly causal clothes BUT some of their clothing is very appropriate for more formal occasions. I used to think it was a GIFT store (I have bad eyesight and seemed to fail to see ONE LARGE WINDOW devoted to clothing) but I won't make that mistake again!I And I look very hip!

Bought my daughter a suitcase before Christmas, she decided to purchase another brand from another store so I went to return it. Was told there are no refunds and only store credit. I asked where it mentioned that and that no one told me that when I was purchasing it. She said it’s on the receipt, yeah the thing you get after you pay for something where it would have already been too late. Also written on small sign several feet behind the cashier and over to the side in Holiday font that is hard to read. They should have just told me there were no returns and I wouldn’t have bought it. It wasn’t a clearance item where I understand that there might not be returns. It was over $200. Best I could do was a store credit. I have bought many wonderful gifts over the years there and am usually super impressed with the service and quality of the goods. Sorry guys, after the store credit runs out you’ve lost a loyal customer for life. Get the sign up front where people can see it and perhaps mention that when cashing someone out.

Was very disappointed to get home and discover the items I purchased were double tagged...and that the tag under was $4.00 less than what I paid. Receipt says I can exchange or get a credit note - sorry no refunds. Well sorry folks I don't want a credit or an exchange for anything else in your store that may be double tagged. I would prefer honesty. I won't be back.
