I was skeptical about any funeral service outfit when I stumbled into Care Funeral Services in Sidney, when my mother died last week. Lawrence Buckley took me in hand. He was very calm and helpful and there was absolutely no pressure on anything. My mother just wanted the simplest services and that was fine with Lawrence. There was a delay in obtaining the death certificate and ashes and Lawrence did his utmost to get both to me in a timely manner so that we could carry out our plans. He also gave me excellent advice on what to do next with paperwork and notifications. Thank you Lawrence for helping out at a difficult time.

I am in a difficult situation, where I reside in Alberta, but my preplanning is on Vancouver Island. In the event of my passing, there would have to be arrangements made, I contacted the Care Office in Sidney and they were prompt in researching and passing on information and making arrangements so that my plans on the Island could be met. I requested an appointment , and a date was arranged , which was forwarded to someone in the Sidney , BC office . I did not hear from the agent, to confirm the arranged date and time , AND THE AGENT DID NOT ARRIVE on that date. If this is satisfaction , I hate to think what dissatisfaction would be . I have since contacted another agency in Sidney.
