Our experience with the R S Kane Funeral Home staff was extremely positive. Each and every member of the staff that we met and interacted with was kind, compassionate and demonstrated care and attention to detail from the start to the end. We had the pleasure and honour to have Mr. Kane, who is the consummate professional, join our family on the day of burial. When you work with a family business, you feel like you are more than just clients. Maybe because we had gone through this experience already with the loss of three parents before, we knew what we wanted, we knew our budget and R S Kane accommodated our requirements to the letter. We can attest to the fact that there was no pressure whatsoever to purchase or receive services that we did not need or want. We would not hesitate to recommend R S Kane Funeral Home.

With the extremely difficult task of managing our loss and the unwarranted interference of a family member John personally handled the arrangements and was sensitive to the issues surrounding the service. Everyone at R.S. Kane took amazing care of all our family and friends after the death of my dad. They were available for all questions and concerns and on the day of the service, they made sure everything ran smoothly and we didn't need to worry about any of the details. Everything was taken care of.... The only downside is the lack of technology available for AV needs during the service. Out of date computers and connectors made for some unnecessary stress. Overall, we were more than satisfied with the care we received from everyone at R.S. Kane Funeral Home.

Kane Funeral Home were simply amazing when I lost my father in 2012. I was in England at the time and relied on their team to arrange everything (including a funeral in Toronto and flying my father home to Ireland to be buried) They were highly professional, courteous and kind and due to their services, a difficult and distressing experience was manageable.

We had a relative that passed away and my aunt while at the hospital, contacted Kane Funeral Home to INQUIRE the cost. They had the balls to come to the hospital and tried to TAKE our relative away while LYING to security that they got consent from my aunt. My aunt NEVER gave you crooks consent and she's not even the power of attorney! How pathetic and low can you guys get? Did you think that by having custody of our relative's body that we would be forced to pay your ridiculous bloated fees? We would have sued your asses and made sure everyone knows of your shady business practices.

Throughout the whole process, I know that it took a lot of patience for the staff to consider some of our needs, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The staff are very helpful & do their best to make everything done for the satisfaction of the clients wishes. The funeral home itself was spotless, and facilities were clean. My father in law recently passed away in his sleep. A number of family members were gathered at his house as Mr. Kane and his wife Victoria took him out. Mr. Kane went outside and found a small flower in their garden and put it with him. This little touch was one of a number of little touches that made the whole nightmare of conducting a funeral during the Covid crisis a little more bearable. The fellow who was in charge of the music at the service obviously was listening to my wife the day before as he picked my father in laws favorite song as we took him out. Wow. Really professional! Top notch!
