She was able to attend to our needs with her professionalism and it was nice that we were able to reach out to her using different methods of communication. My family was amongst the first to purchase lots here in a family plot type but surrendered them when a family was involved in a tragic event. My parents were buried here in the 60s and most of my siblings have also been laid to rest here. Unfortunately I am the youngest (70) & with a brother being the last 2 of 17 children and the only one left in Toronto but I will not be here due to cost.

Please do not bury your loved ones here.!! My family lost my father in February and we have had nothing but problems in dealing with his tombstone. They made an error and refused to fix it it took almost 4 months of arguing to get the problem corrected. On June 30th we contracted to have my grandmother's tombstone repaired and it's still siting on her crypt almost 6 weeks later. We also requested that they change the flower pots in my grandmother's crypt 16 weeks ago and it hasn't been done. When people are at their most vulnerable this company takes advantage.

When I contacted Janice Chan to prepare funeral arrangements for my mom who has owned a niche at Highland Memory Gardens, and who was in long term care at the time, Janice was very friendly and warm, she's also very helpful and efficient. She gave me all the information I needed, answered all my questions, and gave me lots of choices. She helped me find a package with Highland Hills Funeral Home and Crematorium, a package that most suited our needs. Everything went well. Thanks so much Janice. I would highly recommend Janice to my friends and family whoever needs to do cemetery and funeral planning or service.

Very disappointed with the ongoing situation we’ve experienced here. They initially had my grandmother already passed away on the stone when we went to go visit her late husband together when she was still alive, that was a shock. They had fixed that error when after we notified them. Then when she had actually passed almost 4 years ago they never put the death date plate on. This has been almost 4 years ongoing where we go to visit her and there’s not even a plate in the stone. We have told them multiple times every year and when we recently went again it was still not there. They have finally put it on today. Almost 4 years, what a shame. It’s already hard enough going to visit the cemetery and grieving a loved one but even harder when it is like this. Please do better.

The office staff were extremely patient and helpful. Our goal was to clearly identify where various family members are buried so that our children/grandchildren have a handy record for future reference. My sister and I were provided with clearly marked maps. Even the grounds-keeping staff were a pleasure to chat with. I was also pleased to send pictures to my cousins and assure them that grounds are well kept and we couldn't ask for better service.

It is my honor and privilege to write a review on this page. JANICE CHAN! the best ever funeral planner, with out any stress. During Mom illness i was able to get all the information from Janice even though she was in China. Janice went way beyond to make mom funeral stress less for us. she has demonstrated professionalism from the funeral home to the burial ground. Even through the church service, I had beautiful pictures from the ground, to show the other members of the family who couldn't attend due to Covid. I would like to say thank you to Highland Memory Gardens, to have such an amazing staff, who cares about people. She is very knowledgeable about her profession and is always prompt and precise in responding to any question. She always supports other charity organizations, e.g. she donated generously to the annual orchid shows organized by the Toronto Artistic Orchid Association. He then told me he would be emailing me the information right away. I received that email more than 24 hours after .For anyone planning a funeral you know that every single day is crucial and you cannot wait that long just for information.
