My father passed away in April 2020 while Covid lockdown was at it's worst. This was quite a stressful time for me dealing with this great loss as well having a newborn baby at the time. I choose Aftercare after a good recommendation from the coroner. I couldn't have been more pleased. Laura was wonderful throughout. She assisted me during these months while waiting to be able to have my father's service. She answered any questions or concerns I had with ease and care. John and his staff were so wonderful the day of the service. Very professional and made sure everything was done to my liking. Very clear and direct, something that I really needed that day. Very happy with the support we received at this very funeral home. After an unexpected death, we were calling facility after facility and were not able to organize a service. The aftercare cremation & burial service allowed us to book last second for which were very thankful. Definitely recommend this funeral home to anyone. Great support, comforting environment. I cannot recommend Aftercare Cremation & Burial Service enough. My brother, who lived in Toronto, passed away unexpectedly. When I received the call at my home in Santa Monica, California, I went into shock. He was my younger brother. Since there were only the two of us, I had to fly out to Toronto to take care of his affairs. Before flying out, I tried to do as much as I could from California and one aspect was to arrange for the funeral. After calling a couple of funeral homes, I decided on Aftercare. I couldn't have been more satisfied with the way I was treated. From the first telephone call explaining the cost and services, to the arrangement of picking up the Ashes and Death Certificates at the most convenient location for me, to the posting of my brother's information on their obituary wall, Laura was there with me every step of the way. I had a very short window to take care of everything in Toronto, therefore, time for me was of the essence. Laura was efficient, kind, professional and helped make a difficult situation as "pleasant" as it could be. And when she was out of the office for a few days during that week, Ryan helped me seamlessly until Laura's return. I highly, highly recommend Aftercare!

I would not recommend this place to anyone. They were nice before they received the payment but after that the service and attitude was not what you would want when you are going through this process...make a call to another company!

Living on a Dollar

Was not ever impressed first time having to cremate a loved one At a time I was having a lot of things to do outside of it Was no given much info on the steps Ended up having to travel 3 citys by train and bus and walk my love one was cremated days earlier but was not phoned had to keep calling them to find out anything and that was with 2 phone numbers of contact and E-mail
