If there was a 10* rating I would give it to Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes. My dad passed away recently and from the first phone call to Kane-Jerrett, they have handled my situation with so much care, respect and dignity. Victoria was so kind and comforting during our initial meeting. Katie was assigned to us during the viewing and she was so responsive to our needs. When I noticed that I had a food stain on my blouse, she was ready with a stain remover for me! Mr. John Kane was exceptional. Mr. Kane handled the funeral service and graveside proceedings. He was thorough and explained the order of events for that day. He made the event feel so special for us and our family and friends who attended. Everyone who was present that day and those who watched the service online, gave high praises. After the funeral, I met with Frank Peters, virtually, for an after care meeting. This part of the process was extremely helpful for me. Their checklist was thorough and has provided a starting point and a guideline for me as I settle my dad's affairs. Again, I want to thank Kane-Jerrett Funeral home, their staff, funeral directors, limo driver even the crane operator, for the exceptional service they have provided to my family and I during this difficult time. The entire experience from initiating the funeral arrangements to the fulfillment of sending off our loved one was attentive, compassionate and empathetic. Kane-Jerrett extended care and sensitivity in an innate way when tending to our family. The room, presentation of our beloved husband and father allowed us to be at ease that his transition was peaceful and with dignity. The ambiance allowed us to express our love for our husband/father amongst a small group of family, especially during these unprecedented times of COVID. To socially distance, grieve, and celebrate and yet feel so close is a special experience. All the while we felt safe in a clean and spacious environment. Mr. Mosey is arguably the most instrumental person in working with our family and orchestrating the send off of our loved one. Every detail imaginable and unthought of was captured by the staff of Kane-Jarrett. We are forever grateful.
