I used Kat's services for funeral Pre-planning for my parents who at the time were under 70 years of age. She came to the house and explained the service and what it would cost. She finished her presentation and said call her with any questions. No pushy sales tactics. Just simple education. We signed up and it was the best thing we ever did. We won't have to worry about anything in the future with regards to funeral planning. All of my parents requests will be honored as they have listed in the contract with any special requests which will make things much easier for the family. Everyone should be thinking of doing this sooner rather than later.

The passing of one's mother is a very difficult and extremely sad time in life. Especially, when your father has already passed away. Katherine Downy though, during this difficult time, was a blessing in disguise! The last thing I wanted to do was make several phone calls to the various government agencies to get the required paperwork in order, to cancel CPP, OAS, etc.... Katherine not only handled, completed all the forms for me to sign and mail, but most importantly, provided me with comfort and support. During "normal" times this would have been most gracious. However, during this pandemic, Katherine shared her own personal experiences dealing with a parent in a seniors residence/long term care facility and this simple act, benefited me greatly in relieving my grief over the loss of a parent that you couldn't visit or see during this unprecedented time in modern history. I didn't pre-plan. We heard from others the amount of government paper work would be horrendous. I used Kat’s services to help us sort out what to do with bank cards, passport, drivers license, etc. after my dad passed away. Working with Kat was a big relief.
