I had pre-arranged our funerals for my wife and myself a year earlier. We live in Santa Barbara but chose to be buried in Baltimore. When my beloved wife died at home at night, it required just one phone call to Levinson (and a real person answered!). The local funeral home came for her and arranged to fly her to Baltimore. The Levinson folks took care of everything exactly as we had planned it. The obituary they prepared was superb; I suggested changing just three words. The Rabbi they assigned, Jerry Seidler, conducted the service in the chapel and at graveside with great dignity and eloquence. The livestream of the service and the later availability of the video allowed so many friends and relatives to share the experience. Every aspect of Levinson's facilities and services was superb; I would have changed nothing. I was and am so grateful to all the staff who supported me as I said goodbye after our 36-year marriage.
