I think I spoke to everyone there over the course of the planning and everyone was OUTSTANDING!!! Kind, compassionate, caring and absolutely wonderful. Tony and Rabbi Liza we’re off the charts over and above wonderful. When the time comes choose Levine’s.

I found Levine Chapel to be completely professional but more importantly compassionate. Julie Berger was fantastic. She made a really difficult time a little bit less stressful. She would respond to me promptly anytime day or night with a calm soothing voice. Julie would even give me a heads up when something I was going to receive via email or mail (like the obituary or death certificate) was going to be emotional so I could prepare myself. She helped guide us through everything we had to do and always made us feel important like we were her only client. Thank you Julie!

Levine could not have done a better job. I cold-called them days before my Mom passed, knowing we didn’t have much time. It’s always painful to make last arrangements but they did everything in their power to make it as easy and stress-free as possible. They went above and beyond to find “a nice spot for Mom”, they found me an excellent Rabbi (Rabbi Stern did an incredible job of you’re looking for a reform Rabbi) and they were able to do all of the paperwork/arrangements remotely in the midst of COVID. Highly recommend!

There have been three times over the last forty years when I have had to answer the question: "Who should we call?" Each Time I answered "Call Levine's". I have never been disappointed. Audrey died on a Wednesday afternoon, and her funeral at Beth El of the Sudbury River Valley was on Friday morning. David, at Levine's took care of everything. I never had to arrange for the burial in the Sudbury Town Cemetery, never had to call the newspapers. All the staff, from drivers to parking attendants were professionals. Five stars! Everything was done with respect and dignity. My dad passed away on Thursday night, Rabbay suggested that it would be better to have service ASAP. We had only half day on Friday before shabbat to arrange everything. Levine Chappels went above and beyond, everything was arranged perfectly and funeral happened at 2 PM on Friday. They took everything, the entire process, paperwork, taara, place at cemetery, etc...Very helpful when family so devastated and in most cases having hard time making any decisions. I am very thankful for everything they have done for us at those difficult times.

My family has been using Levine for over 3 generations. They were very patient, and answered all my questions (I had a lot). They helped with things I didn’t think of and looked at my previous family members to ensure we replicate/honor the same type of service. They made the process easier by far, and took a lot of the pressure off. We had one issue arise a couple weeks after the service, and I had emailed them on a Sunday evening around 5pm. Within 1 hour the funeral director was addressing my issue. And by 11am Monday morning my issue was resolved. They handled it quickly and professionally. I’m very pleased and I know why my family has chosen them for each loved one.

A very evil and corrupt company.My family always used Levine in the past and always had an above average experience with them.They changed considerable over the years and are not the same company anymore.They were bought out by Dignity who is the largest most corrupt funeral service company in the business.Look up dignity on an internet search and you will see what I mean.This company was caught so many times with fraud ,stealing and digging up bodies and getting away with it for years.They have bought out many small funeral homes and they try to keep the original name because dignity has such a bad name in the funeral business.This is not Levine chapels anymore and is much much more expensive and they treat the family like crap.They lie and cheat and take advantage of loved ones during the most stressfull time of their lives.Use a small family funeral home instead of this one and make sure you ask whoever you are calling if the funeral home is owned by Dignity and if it is dont use them

A loved one passing away is always difficult. Our problem was complicated by the fact that my mother-in-law passed away in Mobile, AL and was to be buried in Peabody, MA. I contacted Levine Chapels in the late evening. My call was returned, in short order, by one of their directors. I was very impressed with Christopher Northrup's expertise and how he helped make a difficult situation very simple and concise. He used a computer with a screen that turned around so we could both see the screen and he was able to help us through each decision. Many of my family members used Levine's chapel and we were very pleased with how professional everyone was. After my decision was made, I was sent a card with a phone number to call 24/7 to give to my family, along with a reference number. All my family needs to do in the event of my passing, is to call that number and give the reference number. All my plans have been made and I have pre-paid everything. It will certainly make a difficult situation so much easier for everyone. I highly suggest that you take a moment to do the same for yourself.

Goes back 24 years when my husband suddenly passed away at 59 years old. With being in shock and with no previous experience in planning a funeral, my children and I decided on Levine Chapel only because we knew the name and road by their location probably hundreds of times after living in the Boston area for years. Never forget walking into the building with my children to make the arrangements. With tears in my eyes we were greeted my a man named Antony (I think that was his name!) who was compassionate and caring. Next came the graveside funeral service which went exactly as planned. A year later was called to join a support group. An experience I will never forget. To get together with a group of about eight women who were able to discuss how they were coping after the lost of their husbands was an outstanding opportunity. For a person who had never joined a support group and who was hesitate to join, I must say I never missed a meeting!! An amazing group of women who shared their journey and an amazing leader who was the most caring individual! Recently I pre-planned my own funeral arrangements: not any easy thing to do! From the first phone call to the last (I now live out of state) planning with Chris Northrop made the process go smoothly. How lucky Levine Chapel is to have Chris on their staff! What a compassionate, knowledgeable, understanding person Chris is! I highly recommend Levine Chapel!
