When I lost my daughter, she was in another state. How the funeral home in Minneapolis took care of her ashes was terrible. I brought her in and the George Boom staff - especially Bob - was so understanding and helpful. They fixed what was wrong just because they could, and didn't charge me. The facility is beautiful and the staff top-notch!!!

My family and I do not have enough KIND words to say about this funeral home. Losing a loved one, especially at a very young age, like our daughter is beyond heart-breaking and devastating. No parent, ever plans to tell their baby goodbye so soon. Jordan, at George Boom helped with this incredibly difficult time, and helped us work through some depressing moments, no parent should ever have to go through. His compassion and knowledge for how to handle a family member who has passed away is incredible and so heart-warming. It felt as if he was part of the family with how sincere and respectful he was being towards my family and I. It almost seemed as if he knew our daughter and could relate to the feelings we were having while dealing with her loss. He was patient, he was creative with cute funeral ideas including movies, beads, and making sure our baby looked beautiful when we said goodbye. We can’t thank him enough for being one of the brightest lights during our darkest days. Thank you so much for everything you did and all of the compassion and empathy you put towards my family and our baby girl. There’s not enough words I can say to express our gratitude for you. Saying goodbye to a loved one is extremely hard and even more so when its your parent. Jon and the rest of the staff made the process of planning my mom's funeral as painless as they could. They were very friendly and welcoming and took time to walk us thru each piece of the planning at our pace. They understand the loss you are going through snd offer support and understanding. They walk you through all the steps that need to be completed. I wish there were than 5 stars to give George Boom funeral home. My mother recently passed and they were with us every step of the way. Kyle called me right before he went to pick mom up from the nursing home to bring her to Boom, a call which surprised but also touched me. Then Jordan supported us through the rest of mom's last journey with patience, kindness, and understanding. One never realizes what an important job a funeral director is until the time comes. No matter how prepared we are for a loss (mom was 94 so her death was not unexpected), it is still such a highly emotional and confusing experience and we need someone to walk with us and navigate us through it. George Boom funeral home is the best in town to do that with and for you.
