Eric Bell went above and beyond to be there for our family at one of the worst times imaginable. He was highly responsive and always got back to us immediately, even after we booked services with him. He doesn’t just do that in the initial stages to get your business. He is consistently there when needed and this is a time where time is of the essence. He turned a stressful situation into one that was less so. Most of the time we have to worry about people taking advantage of us or ripping us off but Eric was very honest. There were no surprises. Everything happened as he said they would. We always felt like we were in good hands. Most importantly, he was very patient despite the drama that can occur when you get a bunch of family together. We had an incident that he took care of with finesse and was able to defuse the situation. He was very accommodating to our requests and I always felt he put our best interests first. One of the ways this was apparent was that he never asked for payment until after the funeral and even then, I was the one who initiated. I never get it was about money and felt he sincerely wanted to make this as positive of an experience as one could have under the circumstances. It was important to me to be able to see my son again and have an open casket and he did his best to make it possible and I was so grateful he made that happen. He had a lot of great ideas that personalized our memorial. I couldn’t say enough great things about Eric and his team. The amount of reverence and respect they had despite working in an industry that they are used to, was so appreciated. We were very impressed and pleasantly surprised by his professionalism and care. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a funeral director. Thank you Eric (and Megan) for being so sweet and wonderful.

My precious wife fought a brave fight against cancer and passed away in December. We are new to the area and I had no idea where to turn to for help during this difficult time. A wonderful woman in Brownsburg, Rebecca with Chords of Love, suggested I call Eric whenever the time came for funeral arrangements. I am SO GLAD I remembered her direction. Eric was incredible from the first phone call. It was very obvious that this was more than just a business it is a calling. During our initial meeting he was full of compassion and empathy; never once did I feel pressured during the process. Eric listened and captured Karen's essence and wrote a beautiful obituary. He coordinated everything, including transporting my beautiful wife's body to her final resting place in Northwest Indiana. Eric helped us pay a fitting tribute to an incredible woman. I am also very grateful for his practical advice on dealing with grief and his direction on talking to my four-year old son about his mom's passing. Thank you Eric! P.s. Don't want to forget Meghan! So pleasant, attentive and caring in all of our interactions. Always so kind to my son on the occasions we came to the office.
