Very poor experience: Ted at Southern Monument agreed to add my mother's information to the foot stone which they had engraved with my father's information 9 years ago, but they never did it. I emailed a week prior to the agreed date to check that the engraving had been done and the stone back in place. I received a reply which I interpreted as confirmation. I live two hours away from Lethbridge and when I got there, nothing had been done to the stone. We could not have our interment ceremony for my mother's ashes. I contacted them again, and there was no explanation...it simply had not been done. Ted, the owner, agreed to proceed and to send a photo of the engraving when completed. I never heard from Ted. I called 10 days later, and was told that the engraving had been completed and the stone put back in place. No notification until I asked. I have no idea if the information on the stone is correct. A terrible way to do business.

Ted was very friendly when I went in to inquire about getting side vases installed at my parents' headstone. Went in a few days later and ordered the vases. The lady told me that they would give me a call when completed. Received a call from Ted saying they were installed. Went to cemetery and the vases were not there, installed at the wrong headstone. Phoned and told them the mistake and asked that Ted call me back. Did receive call from Ted saying that is was fixed. I inquired as to how this could happen and do they not take the work orders with them. He did not answer my question, just said "It was fixed". Also, they did not clean off the residue from the other headstone. Very unprofessional and rather rude with no apology.
