As I have purchased pre-need plans through Elements, Jeremy and Greg of Elements were able to come to our home to discuss and finalize the Service details in less than 24 hours after Greg was notified over the phone at past midnight of October 17, 2018 that their services will be needed by my family. Jeremy and his administrative staff were patient during the process of creating the layout of the photographs and biography for the Memorial Card which my family has provided to them. They responded quickly to my emails regarding changes and correction that were noted when finalizing the layout and contents of the Memorial Card. There was an efficient coordination of activities between Elements and my family from Day 1, to the church/funeral arrangement, the cremation process which was witnessed by my family in Chilliwack, BC and up to the following day that the cremated remains was handed over by Jeremy to my family at the Gardens of Gethsemani Catholic Cemetery in Surrey, BC. Jeremy and Greg of Elements deserve a 5-Star performance rating for a job well done!

I'd have to say that i've never come across a team that executes such professionalism and articulates compassion for the family that is grieving. Most prominently, my dad passed away on Christmas day last year, and my family and I were shocked, but Jeremy and his team assured that they would have everything done as we had wished according to the South Asian Hindu rituals. My family and I were amazed to visualize so much of diligence and perfection in all of the final rites that were done at my dad's funeral. I would definitely recommend Elements to everyone especially South Asian families who are going through such moments in their lives. 3.5 stars is more appropriate. We recently lost our 11 month old baby tragically in his sleep. We hired Elements to manage the service as well as the other services needed. We were an absolute wreck and still are so we had Elements do the planning and hire the contractors. Godwyn was absolutely fantastic, he’s an amazing man and did an amazing job as the MC for our little guys service. My issue is that the company gave us a $2,500 invoice for “professional services” which was never discussed or brought up at any time until the final invoice was given. We had no idea what this bill was for so called them, they explained it but what a slap in the face at the worst possible time in our life. I would use Godwyn and Trish again but never will use this company again. It’s too bad they couldn’t be more transparent and communicate properly, this was a completely unexpected bill we had to pay. We weren’t a huge fan of Jeremy (the owner) either. It seems like he’s a very busy person and I felt the communication was lacking. We weren’t sure where Wesley was at times, we didn’t know what day he was being cremated on, we just received a text saying he has been cremated. Definitely a lot of room for improvement from Jeremy especially when managing the services of a child.

When I met Jeremy and Brigette for the first time, I was a little concerned that they did not have the typical funeral home set up that I knew to be funeral home services. They explained that if they had the traditional building all funerals would need to fit into their space. Instead, they source venues tailored to your specific needs as some gatherings are larger than others. Their logic made sense to me and we secured their services. First and foremost, they provided my son a beautiful, thoughtful and elegant funeral and burial. The support we received throughout the process was exceptional and our decisions were respected. Jeremy and Brigitte ensured all the moving parts were brought together seamlessly and the process was transparent throughout. My email inquiries were responded to quickly and I was contacted with updates and reminders from time to time (which was helpful under the circumstances). Prior to and after the funeral, Jeremy provided us with the logistical direction we needed to ensure there was no confusion during the ceremony and through the burial process. Jeremy and Brigitte were professional and courteous and even after all the funeral business was complete, they took the time to sit with us to get to know my son just a little bit better. I want to thank the staff at Advisorly and Elements. I had a funeral for my mother, and they provided excellent help shipping our Mother home to the Philippines. We were expecting life insurance to be available, but it took 6 months because it was so hard to do the claim. We even had to submit over 300 pages of medical records. For 6 months we had no life insurance money to pay all the different expenses and we are just starting to pay off 6 months’ worth of bills now.
