I especially appreciate the opportunity to make a tribute video for my dad, which she posts on her website for an unlimited amount of time. Our brother passed away on August 16, 2019. As a family we were dealing with all the emotions after someone close to you passes away. Our mother had passed away two years earlier and the experience we shared with a different "reputable" funeral home company in Winnipeg had been far from positive. After having read a positive review in the Winnipeg Free Press earlier this year we followed up by calling Ashley at Alterna Cremation. What a difference from our past experience. Ashley was thoroughly professional. All that was promised was done to a "T". Ashley assisted us with the Free Press ad, made us 100 coloured cards, sold us an urn , provided the death certificates and the cremation certificate all to perfection. There was never any pressure to buy. The far better experience also cost us thousands less than the previous arrangements we had made for our mother. We, the five other brothers and one sister, all would highly recommend using Alterna Cremations.
