This is by far the worst funeral home in Jasper, my aunt recently passed and because of an insurance issue my cousin has to pay out of pocket alot of expenses, but the most outrageous expense was charging my cousin $1300.00 upfront so the family could view the body. Kilgore Green is an excellent place to be when you lose a loved one. They are all competent, compassionate and very helpful people. Every aspect of my mother’s funeral was handled so well by all of them. Missy Tubbs was especially an angel for us. My poor mother was so sick and when she passed, her beautiful face did not look like her at all! Missy did her makeup and hair and she brought back the beautiful person that she was and that we all remembered. My mother was the sweetest, most caring and most lovely person, inside and outside and It was a great comfort to see her look like herself again. Especially to my Dad, her husband of, 63&1/2 years, and to my Sister and I and our families, and all of her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren, loving family and many friends. Because of Missy we got to remember the beautiful person that we all knew and recognized and loved so much!! The funeral was very personal and beautiful thanks to Kilgore Green and their employees. I definitely appreciated all of them so much!! They also did my Mother-in-Laws funeral.
