My father-in-law passed away in 2016. He had pre-purchased funeral services through Boren-Conner, including a headstone, just needed a death date added. When he passed away the funeral home took care of all the arrangements. The service was fine. A year later, after realizing family was not going to take care of the additional $150 engraving fee, we paid. The engravers machine was broken so we waited and waited AND WAITED! A year and a half later it was completed. We looked at the lettering. The original stone was cut deep and clear, the new death date looked hurried and unfinished and was not cut as deep. AND they forgot a comma. We were ensured it would be fixed by Mr Joe Kasson. We went back a month ago...still not fixed. We contacted Joe, he ensured us he would take care of it and that he would be professional. Guaranteed he would follow up and keep in contact. A week later I called back, not response of any sort, he asked, what was the problem again? What? Then he said, he's just the director. He needs to talk to the owner. HIS father-in-law would let him know. Joe would contact me back so don't call. I call again a week later, Joe asked again, so the lettering bad? Let him talk to the owner. And finally, one month later, I call Joe. He just says, "We have just decided we're not going to do anything." HORRIBLE customer service. These guys are just in it for the money. Joe has no power. And the owner is apparently lazy and cheap. Please do yourself a favor and look for a more reputable company.
