Rick, his family and all his staff did a wonderful job yesterday for the funeral of my late wife. They were extremely professional and compassionate. Rick's experience helped to guide us through this very difficult time and the cost was less than other options. Everyone commented on how beautiful the service was. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

After my sisters sudden passing last week we reached out to Rick at Barnes Memorial. This was the most difficult thing my family has ever had to endure. Rick and his staff were professional, sympathetic, compassionate and kind to us through out the entire process. My sister looked beautiful and at peace. From arriving at my parents home after my passed passed in the middle of the night, till the time my mom was interned we received compassionate, caring, professional service from Rick. As a past client and attendee of many services over the years, I cannot overstate what a first class operation this is. The attention to detail, total professionalism and deeply caring staff is far beyond what one would experience elsewhere. The Barnes family has a wealth of experience and consistently go the extra mile to help families in their time of need. Regarding the negative reviews that are posted, I must say with total certainty that the issue has to be with the author of the review. Having spoken with people who have been clients or attended Barnes services, these reviews are not consistent with the Barnes family that we all know. It is reprehensible people with agendas use Google reviews to post false and misleading reviews in an effort to further their cause. Barnes Funeral Home provides dignified, personal and caring service. I am thankful they are part of our community!

I had attended a funeral service at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home in 2016 and was very impressed with the beautiful facilities and the excellent location next to the 407. When my beloved wife passed away recently, I learned that there is so much more to the Barnes operation. Rick and his partner Brenda guided us through the process with understanding, compassion and consummate professionalism. Options were presented, pros and cons were discussed and every effort was made to plan a visitation and a service in accordance with our wishes. As a result, we were able to get through two of the most difficult days of our lives secure in the knowledge that every detail had been attended to. Family members and friends commented on how beautiful and dignified everything was on both days---exactly as my wife would have wanted it. This provided tremendous comfort to our daughters and to me and we will be forever grateful to Rick and Brenda and their wonderful team.

Barnes Memorial Funeral Home services are simply first class from preplanning to actual executions regardless basic or complex requests. Rick and his compassionate caring team are so accommodating, attention to detail and ability to create a comforting atmosphere for me during such a difficult time is truly appreciated.
