My boyfriend sent me flowers today and ordered them from Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston. When I received them it looked like a very poorly put together arrangement, and my grandmother has had this same issue from them before, but they replaced her arrangement. I called the facility to let them know that my flowers looked a bit wilted, some of the leaves were torn and I was not satisfied and I did this in a tasteful way. I was told that the lady that typically does the floral arrangements was off today and the lady filling in for her would have to give me a call back. I received a call back promptly and was told that the flowers I got were Lavender roses and it is normal for them to have green petals and that the more they opened up the would be more purple. I am not a flower specialist by any means, but I have worked in customer service for several years and giving me an excuse did nothing for me and the lady did nothing to attempt to make this right. I am very dissatisfied and we will definitely be taking our business elsewhere.
