I was remotely assisting with my Aunt's arrangements, where I was attempting to pay a balance due, so she could be transferred to another funeral home (that's a whole separate story). After multiple phone calls, which involved being transferred, receiving misinformation, and being made to feel that my families' loss was unimportant, I was finally able to pay the balance. Staff was curt as well as lacking respect, empathy, and service-orientation that one would expect to get in this line of business. The experience felt like I was getting a car released from the impound lot -think South Beach Tow. SURREAL...AVOID!!

I highly recommend them they have very reasonable prices for funeral arrangements I am in the process of funeral services for my mom and they are very helping and made her look BEAUTIFUL and look much like herself please John the Manager was very funny & respectful during this sad time for me????????

Terrible service. The speaker only read the obituary, which was not serviced on their accord and the entire process was overpriced. You might as well rent a space and do the service yourself.

I was dealing with Lombard's Linwood location after my brother's passing. With the exception of Charlie, my experience with two employees (male and female) was nothing less than disappointing, being demeaning and unacceptable. I was harassed about payment on the phone by the female employee who claimed that a month had passed and I had not paid. Yet, I have never even been billed, never had a due date and this phone call took place less than 3 weeks after my initial encounter with the male employee. The same female employee insultingly and in a very assumptive way (I have an accent) asked if I was "trying to get money together to make a payment." I was then lied to (by the male employee with whom I had initially met) that I had signed a contract regarding payment - I had never been given a copy of any contract. He also was falsely implying that I had been given the bill. In addition, my brother's last name was misspelled on the DVD prepared by Lombardo, and the DVD pictures had a line through the middle of every single picture. Is this what a grieving family member should endure from the hands of funeral home employees?

If I could rate them 0/5 I would. The director rushed decisions as if time is money in a sensitive time; but had the limo arrive more than 45 minutes late. When called regarding the lateness, we were given excuses and told "the limo driver would contact us. " Be careful with these guys.
