Family is the connection between life and death - for family greets us when we enter this life and family sends us on our way when we leave this life - and this is how G.H Hogle treated us - like family. The care was not only professional - but genuinely sincere throughout -and their after-care services are topnotch - bar none. Erin, Graham, Ken and all the staff were sensitive and supportive. I cannot express enough my thanks and appreciation for their kindness and help.

At a very sensitive time during the death of my mother in 2019, they were very respectful and highly sensitive to the situation. They understood that it was a shock to the family and were very courteous. When it was hard for me to understand the decisions for putting a funeral together, they were ever so patient. They even came to me with the paper work when it came time to pick my mother up for the funeral home. I was appreciative as my mother was ill and both of us didn't sleep much the last 6 mths, so decision making was difficult that morning. As they were leaving, I was graciously given a little moment in silence before they took her from my home. The day of the funeral at their home was no different from what I had endured with the staff already. Well mannered, thoughtful and polite. I know my mind was foggy that day but they made a day I was not looking forward to, much easier. For sending your loved one off, this is they way to do it, with Hogle Funeral Home.

Hogle funeral home is a family run business that has been a fixture of the Mimico area since for as long as I can remember. Unfortunately my family has had to use their services three times in the last three years. They made the unfortunate circumstances a lot easier to manage. Always respectful and professional but able and willing to offer their expert opinions on the tiniest of details. Their facilities are spacious and clean and provide ample parking. I would recommend Hogle's to anyone in the need of this kind of service.

Professionals at Hogle had helped us at a very challenging time: our good friend lost his battle with cancer in the middle of covid-19 lockdown. His family wanted the remains flown to Europe. Hogle managed to arrange the transfer at a time when it seemed it would be impossible to do so and they did it efficiently and with no stress to us. It’s taken me a while to write this review, and I honestly don’t even know where to start. We have dealt with Hogle Funeral Home on many occasions, but having my mother pass away un-expectantly was a nightmare I wasn’t prepared for. There was no doubt in my mind that we would be contacting Hogle to help with the funeral arrangements. The night of my mom’s passing, Graeme Hogle called me to offer his condolences and reassured me that everything would be handled. He also told me not to worry about anything, and to just spend time with my family that night and he would be in touch with me the next day. Before ending our conversation, I asked him if he could do me a huge favour, and he agreed without even knowing what I was going to ask. I asked him if he could please let me know when my mom was in their care, so I could relax and know that she was in good hands. The hospital was slow with their paperwork which held up the release, but Graeme kept me updated and I finally got the text I was waiting for “Hi Crystal, just to let you know your mom is in our care”. It’s a message that brought me to tears. Without the help of Graeme and his team, I know this would have been a very messy and difficult time for me and my family. They handled everything with so much professionalism, respect and took the time to deal with a heartbroken family. Those couple days were a blur of emotions, but it was comforting to know that we could look over our shoulder and see Graeme or one of his staff close by to offer help if needed. From writing this review, to sending a thank you card, I will never be able to thank Graeme and his team enough for the support they offered me and my family during some of our darkest days.
