Janet Utterson from Victory Memorial was absolutely wonderful! She assisted our family in finding the optimal place for our mother's urn. We were very specific in what we wanted, and she made sure that all of our needs were met. One occasion stood out in particular. We wanted to be certain that our mother's urn and a keepsake urn would properly fit into the niche. She drove a very long distance to pick the urns up from our house and brought them to Victory Memorial to place them into the space. She took photos and sent them to us, so we would have a clear visual. She then drove the urns all the way back to our house. Thank you, Janet!

Terrible. They called and told me someone we didn't know is in the grandfather's plot. Then I was sent several emails in one day requesting information that needed to be given ASAP because she was going on vacation in 3 days. Not to mention she wrote in her email She needed the info "before burying the remain's " Extremely unprofessional, lack of empathy and incompetent. Made everything much harder for me in my time of mourning.

I dealt with Sherry Cameron a few times during the last year of my Mom's life. She was always very helpful. On the night my Mom passed, she helped me through what needed to be done. At the funeral home we sat with Teresa Breakwell. She was amazing. Soft spoken, understanding, and was extremely patient as she walked Bev and I through the pile of forms etc that we had brought in. In a time of grief you are unable to think diligently and in a clear concise state of mind. I had a consultation with Caroline, one of the funeral directors at Victory. I was hysterical (understandably) and unbeknownst of what to do next. Not only was she patient and respectful of my beliefs, she walked me through the whole process holding my hand the entire way through. To be honest, I was quite taken back with how knowledgeable she was with traditional South Asian customs. She was assiduous and compassionate and never made me feel pressured to get something I didn't want unlike another funeral home who I will not name. I would highly recommend Caroline due to her benevolence and her evident love of genuinely helping families in a time of unprecedented sorrow.

The team at Victory Memorial Park were very understanding and did not pressure us into purchasing when we were initially given the quotes for the burial plot for my mom. Alyssa Yan did an outstanding job of getting to know our family and catering to our needs within our budget. Caroline Alvarado was our funeral director and did an exceptional job of explaining what would happen on the day of the service, explaining the COVID restrictions related to the viewings and service/burial, and was prompt in responding to my questions via email. Everything went smoothly on the day of the service. Would recommend Victory Memorial Park to my friends and family members.

The location that they have in south Surrey is scenic and tranquil, is what you would want for a loved one, I would highly recommend them for your needs.

Really appreciated the guidance Tyrus provided related to the different burial options and the overall funeral and memorial process. We were most grateful for his guidance on cultural and spiritual etiquette. We had no idea what needed and should be done. Tyrus has a wealth of knowledge on various traditions. He was able to gauge what elements our family would find meaningful and suitable just by asking us a few questions. He was kind, patient and although funerals are a delicate and taboo topic, Tyrus was sincere and answered all our questions thoroughly. We felt at ease, knowing that we would be able to pay our last respects and commemorate our loved ones in a meaningful way. We felt we were in good hands.
