Had the best experience thanks in most part to Clayton. With a sudden death I was left with alot on my plate and Clayton with his empathy and knowledge helped me Immensely with guiding me through the process. The amount of work clayton and his co-workers had to do in just days showed me why this was the best funeral home in niagara. With covid restrictions and 280kms between 2 ceremonies and burial this team pulled it off seemingly effortlessly. The property was much bigger then appeared on the outside and large rooms helped with distancing. But it's the staff that truly makes this place.

Every fear will be undone and death will be no more, as songs of the Angels bring you home before the face of God. --- In the Catholic faith this song is sung for the commendation of a Catholic Funeral Mass … with a LoVe for music I found myself at Mass, during the song; Songs of The Angels, reflecting upon my Dearly Beloved Sister-In-Law with tears yet JOY, (tears of sorrow and JOY for knowing she was now in Gods glory). Later, with this song in mind, again, and reflecting upon her funeral and Pattersons Funeral Home my family and I feel blessed! Pattersons “Family”, they too were the “Angels” welcoming us and guiding us along our way, (just as worded in the song). Plus, with their sincere heartfelt approach and even their smiles, we felt we were truly among our own family and people of faith. Pattersons were/are the “Family/Angels” we needed in a moment of sadness/despair. The recent passing of my sister Julia was tragic & difficult beyond belief. When we realized she couldn’t be saved, we were told to act swiftly and choose a funeral home. My father and grandmother both had their funerals held at Patterson’s Funeral Home & I knew she would want to keep up the tradition. I called & scheduled an appointment & ended up meeting with Clayton. Clayton, if you are reading this, if we could give you more stars than 5, we would. You are a kind, compassionate man who clearly not only sympathized with the family but empathized with us. Clayton was extremely patient & his kindness was genuine. Dealing with these kinds of situations can desensitize people & that doesn’t appear to have happened with neither Clayton or Ed, who we also dealt with. Ed, you were also wonderful & words can’t explain our gratitude to both you & Clayton. They both tried to help us in every way possible & save money wherever we could. Kieran, who we spoke to as well was very friendly. As for the home itself. Wow is it ever grand. It has beautiful wood finishes & has a warmth to it. Everything turned out beautifully & the attendees were complimenting the home itself. With that being sad, as amazing as the staff & the funeral home are, we hope we don’t have to see you for some time. From the moment they came to our home the two gentleman were so professional and respectful. They asked us what my mom's favorite music was. As they drove away they had Michael Buble playing and we could hear it from the house. It was such a bittersweet moment but meant so much to us. During the whole planning process Ruthann was so patient, helpful and compassionate. You could tell that she really cared. We had to do the most difficult thing you can do, bury a loved one. We were warmly received by a wonderful director named Clayton who helped us through the pre arrangement information, who answered all our questions with much compassion as well as transparency. We were given an estimate the same day so had a good idea of what to expect. When our loved one passed Patterson Funeral Home was a phone call away & we felt our beloved family member would be well cared for with dignity & respect. We met with Clayton to organize all the funeral arrangements & confirm everything we originally spoke of and any alterations we might have decided on. The most difficult identification process was handled with true professionalism, tenderness & compassion towards the family & we are forever grateful. All other information (pictures, obituary...) was easily communicated to the funeral home, everything was done via email, making our time to grieve with the family a priority. During the funeral visitation the staff tailored the environment to our needs, it was warm, loving & personalized. The final phase of aftercare was so very helpful, giving us information to help us through the next difficult phase. They filled out all necessary documentation regarding government forms, & cancelation of identification cards...gave us helpful donation services for no longer needed items. The funeral home itself is very beautiful, the entrance is alive & illuminated with birds & a nice pause area. The inside is beautifully decorated & lovely carpeting throughout. The facility has a beautiful coy pond with a relaxing sound of trickling water, bringing the feel of nature to the atmosphere. The entire facility is very clean & has many options of viewing rooms.
