When my dad passed away, he has specified that he only wanted a cremation, and no funeral or service of any kind. When I called around, the quotes I was getting were for $2600+, just for the cremation. I contacted Karscen at Cremation Direct. I was a little bit nervous, as I had never heard of the company before, and most of the process was done over the phone. As it turned out, they are located inside of Hendersons Funeral home, because they are owned by the same company. Karscen was so empathetic, and really put my mind at ease. The apprentice, Mike, was also incredible. I did roughly half of the process with him. Both of these guys are so kind, and made everything so easy, considering what a difficult thing it is to do. They were efficient, informative, and understanding. I highly recommend Cremation Direct to anyone! Thanks, Karscen and Mike!

In a word, the Director Karscen Reichhart at Cremation Direct was fantastic. My father was taken care of in a highly professional, yet very personable way. As well, all of our requests were provided in a timely and accurate manner. Not to mention the fees paid were the lowest to my knowledge, compared to other providers. An excellent experience during a hectic and stressful time.

My grandfather died recently, and I had to help my grandmum with arrangements. Doing this for the first time was really intimidating but, Bry was able to guide me through this with great care. She explained how the documents needed to be signed d electronically which made things way easier as grandmum isn't the easiest to travel with. I would recommend Cremation Direct to anyone looking for cost efficient and compassionate service. Thank you for all you guys have done to make this hard time that much easier

I, unlike the other people who have written reviews, have had an absolute nightmare of a time dealing with Cremation direct. My mom passed in December. It took 27 days from the time I sent in all the paperwork to the time I finally had my Mom home with me. TWENTY SEVEN DAYS. That is a ridiculous amount of time. I had to deal with multiple unreturned phone calls and emails. Every time I called and spoke to someone I was told “a director will call you back as soon as they can” but they never did. I had to call back multiple times until finally I broke down in tears and demanded they put someone, who actually knew something, on the phone. Only to be told that my mom was still sitting in their processing centre, weeks later! By the time my mom was delivered to me (by hand as it was the least they could do at that point) the director told me they forgot the death certificate on their desk at the office. I was told it would be mailed out to me right away. 6 days later an envelope arrives WITH NOTHING IN IT! I was told they would mail another one. 4 days go by and nothing arrives. They finally hand delivered one to me. After all of this the only explanation I got for their complete lack of communication, sympathy or just general standard customer care in general is that they’ve been really busy because of COVID and higher overdose deaths. I’m sorry, but that’s not acceptable. Hire more staff who are better qualified to deal with people who are going through the absolute worst time in their lives and do not need the added stress and hardship caused by your incompetence. Also, what is the point of having staff answering your main line if they can’t even answer ANY questions or take payments? Oh and last thing- their “free 24 hour bereavement line” is an absolute joke. When I called the number a secretary answered and I said I was trying to access the bereavement line and she said, “you have.” I was a little taken aback and said, ok, how does this work? She said “just start talking.” It was so cold and unfriendly and unsafe feeling I just hung up. I don’t know how to end this except for to say, Cremation Direct, you made the worst time in my entire life a thousand times more stressful and I can only hope you have learned a lesson from the numerous mistakes you made it my case to better your business and interpersonal practices.
