I can’t imagine going through loss is ever easy for anyone, especially all the procedural stuff that descends on you so immediately. But I also can’t imagine going through some of the necessary details being any easier than doing it with Nickerson. The Director my brother and I worked with, Katy, and the other members of the team with whom we interacted, Jessica and Margaret, exhibited nothing but warmth and compassion as we went through the motions. Out of all of the necessary players in settling the devastating aftermath of my mother’s sudden loss, Katy absolutely stood out in how she treated our situation with a wellspring of not only sympathy, but professionalism and courtesy - and plenty of service extending above and beyond what we expected or experienced from other entities involved in the objective processes. As difficult as these things are, we really could not have asked for better care than we got at Nickerson. The last thing you want is to be treated merely as a client when you are still freshly mourning, and you will get much much more than that if you hire their services. I would highly recommend this funeral home to anybody who finds themself in need of one. All my love to Katy and the team here. We are and will be forever grateful.
