My family has used Windsor Chapel for all our family funerals for many many years now. We trust them completely. They are compassionate, knowledgeable, helpful and always there to listen and to make the funeral unique to the individual. They also have staff that helps with paperwork for government pensions and benefits, which is an added bonus. It is a family run business who takes pride in serving the Essex County Community and providing excellent service with compassion and understanding. I would highly recommend them for your family needs.

My Mother passed in late November of 2021. She had went through a long period of declining health physically and mentally. Her passing was very hard on me, my brother, and our families. From the very start, Windsor Chapel was very compassionate and I felt very much at ease dealing with them. They were accommodating of my mother and our families wishes of having more of a life celebration instead of a normal funeral. The florist that they work with did an amazing job with the flowers and the display Windsor Chapel set was beautiful! Also their graphic department were brilliant in creating a video and picture book that told the story and life of my mother. I am impressed with the level of care Windsor Chapel displayed in the whole process from initial contact to aftercare. Windsor Chapel helped make a sad, difficult time a bit easier to deal with and for that I am thankful to them.

They took care of everything from the flowers to the newspaper announcement. I was especially impressed with the video that was put together. I'm very pleased how everything turned out especially in this COVID time. There's two things that I'm really grateful for - how beautiful Don looked exposed in that room. So glad we did that before he was cremated. The other thing is how the guy was able to fix the necklace that was gifted to me. I had dropped it off when I had purchased some other necklaces hoping he could repair it and he did! Small gesture but meant a lot to me. I would like to take this opportunity to say a few words about the Leon and his staff at WC Banwell. My sister had died suddenly in BC. Leon and Philip assisted me with not only providing me with a funeral home in Vancouver to help me with things I needed to complete out West, Leon and his staff also handled every detail back home. From flowers, to helping find the amazing Celebrant Chris, to creating a beautiful video, to live streaming her services for our out of the country family who were unable to attend due to Covid restrictions. The care and compassion that my family was shown was second to none. During a difficult time I felt they truly had our well being in mind at all times. They accommodated all our requests of music and pictures as well. The video put together by Erin was fantastic. When I returned to pick up my sister’s remains I was taken to a private room where my sister’s Urn as well as two keepsakes, were set on a table surrounded by a beautiful floral arrangement and candles. It may seem like nothing but if you’ve ever had to “pick up” a loved on you would understand what it meant to me. About a week or so later I returned to pick up a beautiful book which include a USB drive with all the pictures we had submitted. It is something my father cherishes. I can’t thank Leon and the Windsor Chapel funeral home enough for treating myself and my family as though we were one of their own. I could not have asked for more help and advice from Jules. He had it all laid out for me, every step of the way. The day of the funeral we had a torrential downpour which flooded the cemetery and grave site. Their quick thinking moved the gravesite ceremony inside to the Mausoleum. The meeting several days afterwards answered more questions then I had. They took care of things I did not know needed to be taken care of.

We did not a have a traditional funeral, but she made sure all my requests were taken care of. Everyone was very respectful in their role. The tribute video was amazing, very well done. My dad looked so peaceful when we had his funeral there.I saw him at the hospital right after he passed and didn't want to see him again. The entire team at WCFH were so compassionate, patient and knowledgeable. From the very first call I made to them immediately after my mom passed in may , up to today, when we were able to enter the mausoleums again and place mom in her resting place, the staff at WCFH were so attentive and caring all While remaining professional and following provincial covid guidelines.
