Danielle Girard was our Funeral Director and I was so impressed by her professionalism and patience. She was flexible and very accommodating and that meant the world to us. I also want to thank Melissa who handled our visitation for being so kind and gentle as my family was under highly emotional circumstances. The level of care that you both provided was impeccable!

The Staff at Kaul Funeral Home were very thorough and sensitive to me and my family's needs. Jason Bates was considerate and patient when walking us through the process of laying our loved one to rest and Bruce & Cleo (The Gentlemen that took my Dad on his final car ride) were exceptional and caring as well from guiding us through the Cemetery to the follow up process back at the Funeral Home. However, Rebecca was loving and kind and helped me to give her a beautiful burial that I could afford and Kaul made her as beautiful as they could. Our family has been customers of Kaul Funeral Home since my grandma’s passing in 1988. Usually, we’ve had wonderful experiences, except this past week. Visitation was wonderful, the burial was completely screwed up. Not all flowers were brought to the cemetery. They overcharged on the balance and I have to wait until an office manager is in (which will be a week) to get a refund. I understand these are unprecedented times and the cemetery is at fault largely. However, I’m waiting for this to be made right. We got an insincere apology and that IS NOT sufficient.

I have never seen a funeral home that takes care of people in their hour of need. Are not pushy, they all have a heart of gold. They took care of my son and I with the utmost respect. Be very careful of doing business with this funeral home. They won't stand by their contracts they write, then they will turn around a blame vendors that they haven't done business with in over 20 years, or that are no longer in business. You have been warned.

Everyone we worked with at Kaul in St. Clair Shores was very helpful. Danielle, Rebecca, Mike and Jim were kind, patient, and showed compassion, which is appreciated during a time of grief. My one suggestion for improvement is to use the same inventory that was created while logging personal items in (to be used during the visitation) when the items are being returned to the family. One of the mom's rings was not initially with the items and I'm thankful that we noticed. Other than that the experience was flawless.

I would like to thank the entire staff especially Jason Bates at Kauls Funeral Home, for providing our family with a service for our 95 year old mother that not only met our expectations but exceeded what we wanted. My mother looked beautiful and we were pleasantly surprised to see that they followed our directions to a tee for her hair and makeup. She looked just like she did in life. Our family choose a package that included everything we needed/wanted and included food trays that was very much appreciated by all. My mother would have been happy to see everyone gathered together talking, laughing sharing stories from the past and enjoying a bite to eat with one another. That was the one thing in life she cherished. It truly was a celebration of her life! Everyone grieves differently and Jason had the skills to adapt to our family's needs that not only showed compassion and professionalism but kept the mood as upbeat as possible during a difficult time. They all made a heart breaking situation so much easier to bear. Thank you once again to the entire staff (Jason, Danielle, Rebekkah, Mary and others) for seeing us through a difficult time and taking care of all of our needs. The entire Noble family!
