First of all I like to thank you for all of your kindness and support mister Walser. I’ve lost my older daughter. She was 34 years old. The coroner couldn’t find anything wrong with her so she was send to London from Owen Sound In meanwhile, I’ve booked her visitation hall and all the services related to her funeral (priests, flower arrangements , catering and photographer). You helped me a lot relocating her, bringing her Saturday afternoon to Kitchener yourself, staying long hours to prepare her for two public visitations all day Sunday. I’ve been also impressed by your phone call at 11 pm asking me what colour would she prefer to have her nails done. Was my understanding that you did it You worked late hours to make sure that everything was perfect You know that I’ve lost my husband three years ago (I’ve been using your services back then and I was very happy with them too) So THANK you again for your kindness, your support, and your understanding May God bless you Cristina

An AWESOME team @ Henery Walser Katie led my family back in October with the planning of my Moms funeral. Today I was back for help to post an obituary for another family member that recently passed out of province and our family wanted an obituary posted locally . An odd request I am sure but once again Katie was quick to help me and give me complete confidence that my request would be handle properly . Just prior to my wife's passing, I contacted Henry Walser Funeral Home. Olivia was quick to return my call and walk me through what was needed to be started and discussed the options, process and timelines ahead of me. On the day of her passing Ricki and Spencer came to pick her up to take her into their care. Ricki was very respectful, professional and spoke to me slowly and chose his words appropriately. I completely trusted them both with her care. When I spoke later to firm the arrangements with Olivia, I was grateful for her respectful, kind and gentle discussions that helped me through the most difficult time in my life. Olivia went above and beyond my expectations even through I had a number of specific asks. She made EVERYTHING right. I can not thank her enough for all the meetings, phone conversations and emails to help me and my family through. All of the staff that we dealt with were very professional. I will be going back out to meet with them to make my final arrangements.

Its professional, and a very passionate staff. Henry Walser is outstanding! Blue eyes you can't miss. Very empathetic to all. I would recommend this place; because of how much heart they have. Its hard to review a place that should be sacred, but that's what they do and have. Its tranquility and serene for being at such a time of great loss. They do take care of all the family, it's hard loosing such souls that get taken so young. We are loosing so many Baby boomers and It just saddens me. Henry Walser Funeral Home went above and beyond for my family. Covid has made it hard to have funerals. But at Henry Walser's they do an amazing job of ensure that people can still come and pay their respects. We live streamed the service to hundreds of people. The staff accommodated our requests, were very friendly, polite, and included my 9 year old daughter in everything. They made a very difficult process easier by their professionalize and respect.

You really dont know what to expect when you loose a loved one and have to plan a funeral. Well unless you preplanned.. and in hindsight, I would suggest everyone does that. I can now tell you from experience that not all funeral homes are created equal, and if you are doing things last minute .. like so many of us do in these situations ..or if you want to preplan...then there is only one funeral home that you should call. Henry Walser and his staff would get 10 stars if I could give them that many. If anyone wants to experience compassion and honest advice and assistance when you are in such a vulnerable point you need to call Henry Walser. I visited a day before my mother passed away, and Jocelynn assisted me with a list of all the services they could provide, and layed everything out in a non aggressive manner. She was amazing. I decided to do my due diligence & explore the options in our area, and I have to say that I had one particular experience that was a polar oposite to what we have experienced at Henry Walser. They have been amazing so far ...and the staff.. outstanding. Henry himself.. assisted us .. on a Sunday to make all the preparations. This one particular funeral home I visited left me feeling like I was being sold a car... actually a used car! Terms like...budget, middle of the road, average...GOOD/ BETTER/ BEST AND LOW END OPTIONS were being thrown around by the SALESMAN..And my visit ended with a dont worry.. we dont need you to pay everything now .. just a 20 percent deposit and we will collect the rest 90 days after the funeral!? Look.. I understand.. it's a buisness right.. and a $3000 earns and all the upgrades.. help pay his salary...and I'm sure PowerPoint sales pitches are effective in many businesses... but I would strongly suggest leaving them our of the funeral business. Thankfully that's what Henry and his staff do.. they leave out the Pitch.. and the sales tactics.. and replace them with assistance and compassion. I bet.. they have their share upgrades from their clients.. difference is.. they let the customers choose instead of being sold. So far.. they have done everything the right way. and I feel so much more at ease than I ever imagined I would. Thanks again Henry and Jocelynn! We look forward (as crazy as that sounds).. to working through all next steps with you... I know having you help us to honour my mom was the best choice we could have made. I hope other funeral directors read this post, it may just increase their customer satisfaction & referrals.. if they visit these guys to see how it's really done!
