Lisa and the staff at E.F. Boyd and Son were extremely courteous and compassionate during the time of my brother's passing. My parents were also taken care of through Boyd funeral home. What made it so difficult was we loss three family members within two years but Lisa was very patient and the caring. She set us down and explained the price for what we needed for my brother's cremation. Everyone made us feel at ease. I would like to thank E.F. Boyd and Son for making my family's home coming a blessing.

I wish there was a zero star I could give this company. They have put my family into a lot of stress! I came into the funeral home to view my grandmother before the funeral the next day and was so shocked that she was unrecognizable! It look like they just glued her mouth shut. One of their loud ass friend came into the home talking loud and laughing as I tried to have peace with my grand momma! Not only was she there but there was another viewing going on as well (VERY UNPROFESSIONAL). They said that they needed more pens bc they didn't have one to sign the book until I asked for one. Ohhh I'm not done with this company....the next day at the funeral they closed her casket before the service started (WHO THE HELL DOES THAT) and that took a toll on everyone but they were told to open it at the end so her children (My mother!) could say a final goodbye and give her a kiss...no they DID NOT open it back up and everyone was very upset about that! The flowers were slumping over & were brownish and wilted so pls DO NOT BELIEVE THE PICTURES! (So how long did you have them bc that does not happen within 24 hrs!) They needed more spotters so no one could cut into the line otw to her final resting area (Which happened a few times!) I honestly feel like they did not give a damn! You guys can rate yourself to look good but I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOME TO ANYONE!!!! If you cherish your loved ones do not bring them here!!!

Our family was treated with respect, professionalism and dignity. E.F.Boyd did their best the make the process and experience less stressful by assigning a director who had worked with our family in the past. They were well organized throughout the process and every step was performed within the pre-specified time. The minister did a very nice job with the service, having never met the family or the deceased in the past.

Florist is very unprofessional!!! My grandmother (who is 90 years old) had just buried her only son. Florist called her 5 times, due to a bounce check. My grandmother has never written a bad check in her life. It was a legit reason. Ms. Gladys even stated she wanted cash and on the same day, she had someone come and pick up another check and my grandmother even included a tip! Although Ms. Gladys did not even say she was sorry or share condolences...DON'T USE THIS FLORIST!!! BOYD I would suggest the same.
